Voting Question: Did Sony pay someone to do this YouTube Sony PS4 viral video?
I know when reading www.SonyPS4gaming.com they claim it has nothing to do from Sony. I saw the video and I agree, however making viral ads create gossip and gossip is rumors which fuel marketing. I think it is cheap viral marketing but who knows... .too many sites showing the video now. moreResolved Question: Why does "Charlie bit my finger" on Youtube not have any sponsors ad to make the guy some money?
I was under the impression that any vid on YourTube that had over one million views got some kind of ad attached to it and made the poster some money... Would this poster of this video, Charlies dad, be able to make some cash from advertisers attaching a tile underneath the vid and pay him to let him do so? Do you think there is only the absence of such an ad there because the Dad turned the marketing people down? Because I would think surely he has been approached by them asking...isnt it S.O.P. for a viral to get approached by sponsors/advertisers? Isn't this the main reason everybody is always trying to think up the "next big thing" video for YouTube, because of the ads that can be attached and the check they can cash for letting such an ad be attached? Please advise about this concept. This question is more about "How does the YouTube ad system work" than about that one vid....I should have made a differnt title to this question.... moreResolved Question: Graphic of a black bug intermittently crawls around TV, even when changing video inputs, WHY?
My children noticed it first, while watching 'Monsters, Inc' via Netflix streaming to the Wii. Then it was on the screen on the episode selection screen. I actually walked all the way up to the Sony KP-51WS510 before I realized it was an image crawling around on the screen. I thought it was some kind of viral marketing campaign Netflix was taking part of. Then we saw it while watching 'Monsters vs. Aliens' on Fios on demand. Now I have no idea what is going on. It is about a third of an inch on the screen. It is black, with about 6 legs and antenna. It bends its upper torso to lead in the direction it turns. Sometimes it just crawls around the edges. Sometimes it takes a tour across the screen. Sometimes it just focuses on a corner. It seems to show up in several grouped periods of 60 to 90 seconds, often making a dozen appearances during a movie. A little annoying at first, now much more of a curiosity, and truly an enigma. Does my rather dated television have virus? Is this a Sony easter egg, designed to be released after years of use? Did some fiendishly brilliant programmer somehow hack my tv? Before you ask; Yes I am sure it is not a real insect, it is a black image on the screen. It is also definitely not a live insect somehow caught behind the glass; this is what google keeps returning to me. Changing video inputs has no effect on it, it will be in the same place on the next input or tv channel. Pausing the video has no effect, the little guy keeps on going. Any clue? anyone? moreResolved Question: CAN CAVS AND LAKER FANS BOTH AGREE TO THIS STATMENT?
Who's better kobe or lebron? Read details for your answer V.v Problem is: Neither is better than the other. Both are the best at there positions. The most over hyped debate in sports continues without any point. It's like chewing the same tobacco over and over and just letting the juices drown you. The most important thing to realize amid this media-driven LeBron vs. Kobe frenzy is that there is no way to compare them to begin with—two different positions, two different teams, two different systems. One's a SF, the other a SG; one's in the East, the other the West; one's in the ball-through-me system and the other the triangle. Stats and rings—both favorite arguments from the opposing camps—are useless in the comparisons because of age, athleticism, and system differences. Kobe is plus- seven in terms of age, cannot run the triangle by himself, and is almost 32 with over 1,000 games on his legs. On the other hand, LeBron is relatively young and without question plays better team ball consistently, so consider it a real possibility that LeBron notches up to four championships (or more) in the next seven or eight years. If you were to actually watch videos of each of their respective games and compare them to each other, you should notice that Kobe plays, naturally enough, more like a shooting guard by shooting perimeter jump shots, while LeBron plays, naturally enough, more like a forward by taking it to the rim. There is nothing wrong with either, but of course LeBron tends to get a lot of flak for taking it to the basket so much (because that doesn't require "skill," but doesn't posterizing Dwight Howard make you somewhat skillful?), and getting so many superstar calls, as does Kobe. No question about that. But what irks me is the nonstop drivel that comes out of fans of the respective camps, as if there were a "rivalry." Are you kidding me? The Cavaliers and Lakers have no history against each other in the playoffs whatsoever, and LeBron has never played Kobe more than the league- mandated two times per year in meaningless regular season games that are solely for milking some much-wanted publicity, hype, and ratings. This pseudo-rivalry and the people involved in it are simply pawns for the NBA's viral marketing scheme. Comparing two players at different stages of their career in different systems at different positions before their respective careers are even over is ridiculous. The debate ought to stop from now on until BOTH are out of the game. moreResolved Question: Agree or Disagree Comparing Lebron vs Kobe Is Pointless?

Hating and ridiculing him(LeBron James) because he hasn't got a ring yet? Why can't we just enjoy his greatness and stop worrying about who's better? Fans get so caught up in arguing and comparing players that we lose the sight of watching the sport that we love why is there so much hatred toward nba professional players? They fulfilled a dream that a lot of you wish you could have. Does it give you a sense of happiness and make you feel better about yourself to try to bring out all the flaws a player might has? I know I have written post saying somewhat bad things about kobe but this is because I am trying to support lebron and try my best convince haters that lebron is a great athlete despite how many rings he has compared to kobe. Kind of like when When the bird vs magic started, yea there was a big rivalry between them but not to the affect that the lebron vs kobe has caused. people did not compare every little meaningless aspects to there game like When kobe was accused of rape, and lebron walked off the court without shaking hands with his opponets, people are still bringing this up and trying to compared it to each other to see who is the worst human being. how does that have anything to do with one another? Hello, we were thinking about opening a business of advertising services, graphic design, websites, viral marketing and video. We are looking for a nice and charismatic name and possibly its Internet address ".it" obviously we have our ideas, but we would like to hear your ideas and evaluate them. don't worry if your idea seem silly, sometimes are the best;) thank you. ciao. moreResolved Question: What any of you buy a hamburger bed A fair price would probably be close to $2000?
The Origin Story You know that ol' dinner party question: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? My answer is always—hamburgers. mm mm mmm I wouldn't say that I'm obsessed... though I did celebrate hamburger roadtrip '03 (I ate hamburgers in 8 central US states) and have a buffet club code name of Patty Melt... I have a general devotion to food and movies... especially sweets. For awhile now I have been making sweet treats and then I saw an amazing video Hamburger: The Motion Picture (must own soon!) and their dorm room beds WERE hamburgers. I had to make the transition into making treats things! and I couldn't shake the idea of a Hamburger Bed! I bought a round mattress from the 70's and made everything else myself... (with the exception of pickle chip pillows I received from a wonderful friend). It is 8' in diameter (I love saying my bed has a diameter) It stands about 3' tall. It is the most comfortable bed I have ever owned... ever Frequently Asked Questions Who made the hamburger bed? Kayla Kromer of Austin, Texas. Is the bed for sale? If so how much does it cost? If not, are there any plans and how much do you think it would cost? It's not something people really want... they say they do. If someone did, they would find me for real. A fair price would probably be close to $2000... It took some time and stuff to put it together. I would much rather help someone make a new dream. I didn't make it to sell anything, or be a "viral marketing strategy" as it's been accused of. It is fun for pure fun's sake—that's why people love it. What do I need to make my own hamburger bed? •1 circular bed and "box" frame (mine is way bigger than it looks and took some stealthy moves to get it in my house) •2 tones of light brown fabric •dark brown king fitted sheet •memory foam •king sized yellow and green sheets •30 pillows •a couple of zippers •pantyhose (for the sesame seeds) sew together LOVE! Isn't this technically a cheeseburger bed? “All cheeseburgers are also hamburgers; not all hamburgers are cheeseburgers.” —David Roland Strong http://hamburgerbed.com/ moreResolved Question: Exploding man viral ad on Youtube, need help finding it plz, it was about global warming or water?
Hi, I am looking for a viral marketing ad that was on the front page of youtube a few weeks ago, and now i cant find it, because i cant figure out the name of the video. It has this man walking in slow motion, and as he walks he explodes into brown dust/rocks. There was also some kind of Disney movie quote playing in the background. The ad was about global warming or running out of water or something like that. I keep trying to find it but no luck. Can anyone help me find it plz? Thanks a ton moreResolved Question: aren't you a little bit scared of world decisions being made in copenhagen when *climategate* negates....?
i think it will be a waste of time as well as a waste of jet fuel for the president to attend the conference on global warming in copenhagen this month, considering the coverups that have been discovered that hide the truth of GW from us and fool us. have you seen or read anything on *Climategate?* we are on the brink of losing free markets if untruths and un-science is used to make world law, which takes precedence over and above a country's law, on such things as cap and trade. why should lying *pseudoscientists* call the shots? it's pretty plain to me that the nobel peace prize given to al gore was wasted given that the real truth has been covered up. i do not see the media speaking up on this much. why? would a cozy little scheme to misrepresent *climate change* and *global warming* have us buy more of their newspapers and watch more of their mealy-mouthed reports on television? i am surprised that i'm not finding questions about the upcoming summit meeting that obama said he will attend because these links are going to show you how the *science* backing CC and GW has been falsified and skewed. how can a scientist gain true insight when data has been destroyed? take a read and listen up, and then please explain your stance to me and why you think that way. i always love it when folks include their age, political leanings, and the part of the country/world where they live if you will be so kind. HERE'S A VERY, VERY COMPREHENSIVE ARGUMENT: http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/12/01/lord-moncktons-summary-of-climategate-and-its-issues/ as well as take a peek at this: http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/11/16/monckton-climate-change-video-goes-viral/ thanks for a study up before you answer and for giving me a thorough, honest opinion of it all. do you think obama should cancel his appeaerance being that we are facing such crucial issues here in the states?Aiden, please back up your answer. don't you know that 35,000 scientists disagree entirely with the premise of man-made GW/CC? you'd get a good feel for the start of doubt if you read the book by michael crichton, a trained MD as well as writer who always did his scientific homework on any technology that he wrote about, which is entitled "STATE OF FEAR."EVERYONE: i heard that obama will not cancel his plans to attend this stupid conference because he has to go to pick up his undeserved nobel peace prize. he lost my respect when he accepted it, for what did he do to earn it? if he had been gracious, turning it down at least for the time being, whereby he DID eventually deserve it, i would be more admirable of this person. we stand in danger of increased government control and higher taxes, as well as all of us going damned broke, if we play the game with these fraudulent fools that are set now to change the course of history! flood your reps and senators like we did when they wanted to give amnesty to illegal aliens (still on the back burner, btw). moreResolved Question: I have a viral video that's going to be the biggest thing. I just don't get it! There must be some purpose to her...creepy..."i know something you don't know" staring videos on YouTube. I've Googled her but all I've found is other people just as confused as I am... Apparently it was all some sort of viral marketing campaign for an upcoming japanese horror movie in 2009...but I can't find any further info into this subject? Is there any purpose to her videos? HER EXISTANCE?! Ok, that part was a joke. But seriously, can someone shed some light on this subject, please? Because I seem to be in the dark. o.OAnd what's with her age? The end scene shows something falling from the sky. But the viral marketing sites like slusho.jp lead us to believe that Rob's japanese employer is a subsidiary of a company that does deep sea drilling in the Atlanic. It also has that chemical that Jaime (drunk girl passed out on the couch at the party) ate as seen on the YouTube video (it's Jamie and Terry video #8) and then she goes progressively crazier in videos 9-11. Okay, this is not a pitch, but it will look like one. (Sorry in advance) I am honestly looking for constructive criticism for my SEO video I've tossed on my page. What I'm doing is posting a massive number of free how-to videos and trying to make them viral by putting a 'refer a friend' sort of thing at the bottom. What I'd like is for some people to take a view of the vid and let me know what they think of it along with the entire process.
