Open Question: How to I change my airfilter?

It is the box fitted kind. Why is there so much hype around K&N air filters, why do they get advertised as performance enhancing when they only filter out the dirt from the air. What I mean is - why a £25 difference between these two? http://tiny.cc/97d7d http://tiny.cc/6gnv8 Not just for Micra's, they just had one of the smallest price differences I could find. Resolved Question: wondering if i should offer free nail clipping for the dogs in my area ?

ok guys i work at a rescue and i usually clip the dogs nails in the centre as it cuts back on vet costs i have also been clipping my dogs nails for years , the last few months while out on walks i have been speaking to other dogs owners and the price of nail clipping has came up alot as it is £30 just to see the vets in our area and then further priced for simple things like nail clipping, and it seems as tho a lot of people are just leaving there dgs nails to get unbearably long because of the price. so my question is should i advertise locally to clip dogs nails for free and to show owners how to do it correctly, i know im not doing a lot really and people should pay for the care of there dog if they choose to have one but its the dogs that are suffering unnecessarily for the owners to save a few pennies.. do you think me doing this would be a good thing or just causing people to take there dogs to the vet less , im trying to weigh out the pros and cons as i have always liked to help animals as much as possible so what is your opinion ?yeah i understand about the legal points, me and two friends i volunteer at the shelter with 1 a groomer, one a vetinary assistant are thinking of doing a charity fun day where they can come and have there nails clipped by donation and educate owners how to do it at home, and do a dog show etc and try and get people to participate in dog rescue etc it is still very early planning but if we get permission this maybe our best bet :) more

Resolved Question: How can I sell my land?

I have gone down the same route as many people who want to invest money and bought land in Bulgaria. The plot was un-regulated when I bought it. It now has planning to build 5 up market villas on it. It is all above board and have all the legal paperwork which has been checked by laywers to prove its all good. Thing is I have now droppd the price of the plot 3 times and over 3 years there has been no interest. The plot is at the foot of the Balken mountains in a place called Kosharitsa 5 minute drive to Sunny Beach, Black Sea Coast. It is 1488m2 and is for sale for £75,888EUR (equivalent). 51 EUR sqm. It ticks all the right boxes but no one is viewing it. I have advertised it on numerous websites, forums and contacted development companies the world over. Its got to the point now where I don't care bout massive returns and I just want my money back as now I have a better idea of where to put the money. Can anyone help or advise me on what I can do next?!!!! Thanks. more

Voting Question: Hi there, I would like to know what my rights are concerning a vehicle that I bought It was bough on ebay,?

I have bought a jeep on line (ebay), good mileage, new tires, and an mot. It was advertised with a knock at certain speeds (rpm), I was a bit hesitant but when I saw the mot was for one year and the seller was a trade dealer with good rating, I was pretty happy it was an ok car to bid on. I won with a price just over £1000 and was happy with the jeep when I picked it up. The knock was non existent except when my foot hit the pedal hard! It drove well, and had some nice power. I was totally happy. My wife and I went for a nice drive in the country the next weekend, but the motor started really knocking. I have owned this vehicle for 3 weeks and driven it a grand total of 2 hours, am gutted. I have taken it to the shop to investigate whats going on but I would like to know if I am able to ask for the costs of repairs to be covered by the seller (Trade dealer) or return the car to this dealer. Thanks Dave more

Resolved Question: If my wife has plastic surgery will our kids be better looking?

We're trying for a baby at the moment but the problem is my wife is pig-ugly. I don't want my kids to be ugly, not because i'm shallow, or anything like that, but because I know how much being ugly can hold people back in life. So i'm thinking of propositioning my wife with the idea that she get a facelift and nosejob before we engage in further unprotected sexual congress. I've priced up the operations and they are just about within budget, although the baby will have to do without that luxury cot the wife has already picked out. How can I ask my wife? I don't want to hurt her feelings. Ever since i met her i've told her she is beautiful. That's probably why she married me, so i don't want to just tell her she's ugly. I'm thinking of making up some fake leaflets advertising half price surgery, or something, and leaving them on the kitchen table. That way i can pretend they came through the letter box and say, "hey, dear, look at this.... well, you might as well go for it, at those prices." Do you think this might work? more

Resolved Question: Im just doing some background reading and practice questions regarding contract law.?

Sheeta Ltd are manufacturers of tube cutting machinery and have advertised in the Tube World their latest tube shear at a cost of £180,000. Minnie & Son Ltd are manufacturers of steel tubing and on seeing the advertisement request further information from Sheeta, who send a brochure complete with a price list. On the price list the shear is listed at £100,000. Minnie & Son Ltd dispatch a letter stating that they wish to purchase the shear for the list price. Sheeta have now contacted Minnie & Son and advised them that the price in the list is incorrect and that the correct price is £180,000. Minnie & Son insist that they have a contract at £100,000. Resolved Question: Help on dog walking advertising?

Hi there! Firstly, yes, i'm 15 and in the UK... Please don't bash me for my age or say I'm not capable of doing dog walking. So far I take out a Husky X Rottie X German Shepherd and before you say 'she's out of your league', no, no she isn't. You see when I first took her out, and believe me, I nearly thought I was going to die. I went around the owners and this big dog came flying out at me, snapping and barking in my face. Not a good start, I thought. They gave me a long, blue lead, which was the type that hurt the hands when the dog pulled. I attached it to her and they said 'see you soon, good luck...' No sooner had we got out of the gate, she dragged me down the road and saw a cat. Crap, I thought and dragged her away with all my might, the collar was very loose, making her even harder to control. I knew I wouldn't be able to walk her so I went to my neighbours and borrowed a halti... The dog was incredibly obedient now I had control. In the last three months she will now play with other dogs, big or small when before she tried to eat them. [I introduced her to other friends respectful dogs] and she knows sit, lay, paw, other paw, hi five, Heel, stay and dead now and has an amazing recall! I did this, so please don't say I can't handle big dogs. I love her, and she is my favourite dog, I take her out for an hour daily but a lot of the time more. My second dog is a Cane Corso... I took her out three times a week but now only when needed... Yes, she is a great dog but had severe aggression wit other dogs... She is being professionally trained. Third dog I will be taking out in a few weeks. She is a eight week old Husky female, and very fiesty. These are my only clients at the moment and I would like to have more now... The leaflets I produce have DOG WALKER on the top my number at the bottom and prices... Should I have prices on there? Or not? The prices are: Well trained dogs- Small Dog: 4.00 pounds an hour Medium Dog: 4.50 pounds an hour Large Dog: 5.00 pounds an hour GIANT Dog: 5.50 pounds an hour Dog aggressive- Small Dog: 4.50 pounds an hour Medium Dog: 5.00 pounds an hour Large Dog: 6.00 pounds an hour GIANT Dog: 7.00 pounds an hour [Note: If dog has a muzzle and Halti price per hour is the same for a non aggressive dog] People Aggressive: Small Dog: 4.50 pounds an hour Medium Dog: 5.50 pounds an hour Large Dog: 6.50 pounds an hour GIANT Dog: 8.00 pounds an hour [Note: If dog has a muzzle and Halti price per hour is the same for a dog aggressive dog.] Is that okay - Am I charging too much or too less?? And what are good paces for advertising? if you have any more advice that would be great! more

Resolved Question: could someone with good english please cheack this for me ?

Hi Aer Lingus Despite my earlier email,.and your failure to reply . I however passed on your banner headline to " Tell a friend " , to lots of friends who l were equally , dismayed at the fact the TOTAL PRICE suddenly changed at the end of the book in to be nothing like the original quote , ie , when booking for two adults and a child ( 50% ) off ofer , the Total price seemed to ignore the fact that there were 3 persons ,travilling , and also the fact the the childs fare was more than the adult fare . Your site is at least very misleading , at most Ryanairsh . As I had promised the quoted the price to friends , I stood my ground and took the loss , but but appericate an explenation , of what I find is underhanded advertising , via email type promotions .As you fly the flag of what was once an airline, I would have being proud to say, I was from the country of origin , I feel very dissapointed ,in the fact your quailty of sAttach files more easilyervice, has gone so down market , on what I see as the future of marketing , the Internet . As I said before I booked the flights anyway , but please reasure me that in future you may look into what I and friends find totally misleading in your " TOTAL PRCE " box ,on the you book cheap fares site . Resolved Question: Car insurance quote different than advertised PLEASE HELP!?

Please help me! I slaved my ass off to buy my 1st car, and I could just afford the insurance, I enetered everything on the website how I should and phoned them up today to book, now they have told me that as soon as you add a second driver the price goes up, even though I did add a second driver on the quote, and that is included in the price, now they are telling me it would be over £3000! One guy even told me the quote was incorrect, but that isn't my problem is it? If I was doing my shopping online and something was £3.50 and when I got it delivered they told me it was actually £35.00, they would still have to sell it to me for £3.50! What can I say to them? Surely if I am quoted a price, than that (or roundabouts) is the price I will pay!Quote was £1500.... It was the only quote I could even begin to afford for ANY car. I took me ages to get. Can you actually bargain with insurance companies? more

Resolved Question: I see that bt are increasing their prices. do you think they are out and out fraudsters?

the quarterly line rental is going up £1-50p a quarter. the charges for calls by 10%. If you pay quarterly they charge you £4-50 extra. If by some mistake like being on holiday when the bill arrives and you dont pay within 10 days well thats another £7-50p on top. They have been advertising how cheap it is with bt over the last 3 months and have probably reeled in an extra 300,000 customers over the that period knowing full well what they were going to do. would you sooner trust a snake in the grass than bt.guy on the other hand they put in 1 telegraph pole in an estate took 20 lines from it charge each customer £120 a year line rental for last 50 years thats £120,000 and it probably cost them £50 to erect. more

Resolved Question: do you think people are deliberately put into power by the worlds super rich?

take tony blair,( someone please). he said in 1989 I intend to stop this abuse by loansharks of ripping off the people with huge interest rates. 2010 we have them advertising loans on telly now at 250% per year and thats the cheap ones. he said we will abolish the house of lords. they are still there including non doms and still theiving off the populace with their expenses. he said he had no intention of sending british soldiers to war unless its to defend our country. how many have died in iraq and afghanistan. he said it was terrible the way the tories were stealing off pensioners by fixing their pensions to the consumer price index. it was still the same after his 12 years in office. he said in the 1990's that the gap between rich and poor was increasing under the tories and if he got into power he would redress that balance. It got bigger while he was p.m. he said countless other things before he got into office every one turned out to be lies just to get into power. like the above examples. the one thing he did not say was that he would be £300 million better off at the end of it, with another £200million to come. was he induced by the rich to join the labour party, so he could keep the status quo for them. and should we only vote in future for labour party candidates brought up in a working class background. more

Resolved Question: is it illegal to advertise incorrect pay salaries?

i was hired by T.K.Maxx as a clothes proccessor. they advertise 6.50p.h for 6 weeks and after the 6 week phrobation period 7.00p.h.... and then after another 6 weeks 7.50p.h when you are made permanent (12 weeks in total). it turns out you only get payed 6.50 per hour untill you are made perminent, which can take as long as they want, aka months and months not just 12 weeks. is this not illegal? and if so.. what can be done about it? its not just on their advertised jobs, they even said this in their recruitment day and on the first say of work, but now after working for them for 7 weeks, they change the entire plan and deny the previous one.. even though they are still advertising in the same way with the same prices more

Resolved Question: Having started on my memoirs, is it best to go through a publisher or through a printer and do the ads myself?

its something I've been working on for a while now, and looks like two yellow pages books stuck together, whilst it may not be of general interest to those who aren't in my field, which is the best method, as I've heard publishers take most of the sale price, yet the advertising costs are also expensive. more

Resolved Question: House Buying - tips for getting the price down?

Me and my partner have seen a lovely property with great potential. However, upon the 2nd visit it was apparent that the land which was clearly advertised online, in the breakdown handed to us by the estate agent and verbally expressed to us by her was significantly less than what was said (it said an acre, whereas it is probably half of that). The house is completely delapidated, would need extensive work just to live in - is not on green belt land and - according to the agent - has had it's price reduced by 25k recently not due to the land but the fact noone was interested. My Q is - do you think we are in a position to negotiate given the misrepresentation of the advert? And if so, how do I go about handing in a lower price? I have no experience of this - and will obviously get a valuer in to price it accordingly but any guidance will help significantly. more

Resolved Question: Looking for the Best UK web hosting?

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a good web hosting service preferably that is paid monthly and is at a very good price, Im trying to have a website for my small business which is service based so it doesn't need to be for eccommerce purposes more a case of a small site to advertise my services, no bigger than 10 pages in size. I keep coming to places to fasthost, 1&1, and justhost etc. but although they offer a lot of "special offers" they all seem to be misleading in that you either have to sign up to them for 24mths, but pay in full (although it usually states "just £4.99 per month") I realise that it may average out at that price per month but I cannot afford a large lump sum for hosting. So I'm either after a good host at a cheap monthly rate, or a good host which is an annual rate but doesnt need me to pay for 3yrs in advance. Any help will be appreciated. Many thanks more

Resolved Question: EVERYONE HUMILIATE ME and noone respects me..?

MY brother calls me a slut, hooker, shit ,whore, asshole and all distasteful names, and threatens to beat me up.He keeps saying the bad word in high voice makeing fun of me.In hose moments i feel worthless,He is in his early teens but he somehow doesn't get it that i am a girl, that i am sensitive and that guys should be gentlemen and treat girls right. Our parent love him so much more than me and forgive him everything and make me feel quilty if i refuse to do things for him.I also somethimes break down and shout at my own mother because i can't stand it any more and than she says all the hurtful things to me. Then i feel quilty for acting that way, because i know that shouting at someone who gave birth to me is beeing to to the bottom.I feel so not loved every time my parents chose him over me even tho i love them to bits. ----- Then my teachers overrate those students who are always the loudest and make others believe they are best at every subjects.I on the other hand work hard and i could bet my arm that i never met a better student than myself but i luck social skills and ability to expose and advertise myself. So i am always left behind while others get prices and are admired for their good marks, even thi i know that i am better than all of them together. It hurts so much when noone appreciates who i am and what i can.My friends also bring me down by admireing those girls that are celebrated as beauty godess just because they are arrogant and always make themselves center of attention. Will anyone ever recognise all my qualities? Voting Question: Seen UK top 5 broadband rip-offs? & how best to deal with 'em? What do you think is the best deal? How 2 beat?

I put this in Politics as Govt promise to roll out superfast broadband Is there a corrupt angle? UK's top broadband rip-offs, together with a few ideas on how you can combat them. 1) Super-fast broadband You might think super-fast broadband sounds amazing. Lightning-fast deals via next-generation fibre technology allow you to surf the net at more than 5 times the usual speed (50Mb). Unfortunately, however, super-fast broadband generally comes with a much higher price tag than packages with standard connection speeds. And I think, at £40 a month, providers are ripping us off - especially when you take into account a 8Mb package with a 10GB usage limit can cost less than £6 a month. The fact is, unless you need faster speeds for things like watching internet TV or downloading HD movies regularly, these packages probably have far greater capability than you really need. If you're not a heavy user, paying the higher monthly cost is a waste of money, frankly. 2) Restrictions on download limits Many broadband providers boast of unlimited download limits, only to accompany these bold statements with a little asterisk which, on closer inspection directs you to a fair use policy that restricts the amount you can actually download. Fair use policies are often a get out of jail free card for providers which advertise unlimited download limits, only to impose penalties or other restrictions if you exceed a certain threshold. And, to make things even more complicated, finding out about your own download habits can sometimes feel like trying to break into Fort Knox. For example, when I called my own provider to ask them about my usage, I was only told that I ‘need not worry'. This ambiguous phrasing may make little difference in my case, but in some circumstances you'll only realise you've exceeded your fair usage limit when you get a warning from your provider – or worse, when a hefty bill lands on your doormat. If you want to gauge your surfing habits, this data usage calculator from Virgin is a nifty tool which will give you an idea of your own monthly usage, which you can then use to get the best plan for you. Alternatively, providers Be and O2 offer super-fast broadband with truly unlimited download limits. 3) Broadband without a landline. If you move into a property without a BT landline in place, it will cost you £124.99 to connect yourself to the outside world, plus £10.50 a month in line rental, unless you commit to an 18-month contract. If you don't fancy forking out all this just to get connected, one alternative is Virgin media which, providing you live in a cabled area, will connect you without the need for a BT line (£30 connection fee applies). In addition, some providers such as Tiscali make use of local loop unbundling (LLU) to bypass BT and offer inclusive line rental. LLU enables ‘local loops' (or put simply, the cable through which you receive your broadband) to be freed up so other providers can design their own broadband packages to provide alternative, and often cheaper services. The third way you can get connected to the internet without the need for a BT landline is via a dongle . Dongles provide a convenient way of getting online, though from experience provide much slower download speeds than conventional broadband. Check out my latest article on dongles . 4) Tag on the line This is one of the sneakiest ways broadband providers can stop you from switching easily. They put what's known as a 'tag' on your line, which is difficult to remove. When you run into trouble, they often point the finger at your landline provider, who then points the finger back at the broadband provider, and so on. What many people don't realise is that you have to talk to the provider you want to switch to and ask them to remove it. Luckily, Broadband Choices offers a handy list of numbers on its website to contact with regards to having a tag on your line. 5) Long contract terms Last but not least, contract lengths for broadband, and indeed your mobile phone are slowly creeping up, and these days you'll often have to sign an 18 and sometimes a 24 month contract in order to secure the best deals. However, there is light at the end of the broadband tunnel, and if you don't want to be tied into a lengthy contract, you could always opt for a provider which doesn't impose one. For example, you can now get one-month only contracts from providers like Plusnet and Zen, which enable you to switch at any time. Obviously, your broadband service is unlikely to be 100% perfect, 100% of the time, but hopefully these small tips will help you on your way to a smoother surfing experience. Happy surfing!DJ I can't fib to ya, dude: it was simply the feature on Yahoo homepage as I came online earlier today As a conscientious ex-UK *1 sales rep, here is a simple google just done now:- http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=best+uk+broadband+deals&btnG=Google+Search&aq=0&aqi=g1&aql=&oq=best+uk+broadband+deal&gs_rfai=&fp=1df4639b9e375fe6 OG I nearly chose you now as best reply But instinct says that, as I'm very rarely in till much later on Sunday eves, I'd best link this Q to a few relevant others, asa test of Y/A volume of activity @ this time Anyone wanna do a Y/A search @:- Would it improve summer interest in Y/A to show number of views @ each question? Resolved Question: sold my van privately and now buyer has come back complaining?

I no longer needed my van due to changing jobs and advertised it for sale,a week before someone purchased it i had it mot'd and had 2 new tyres on it,there was an engine management light coming on which put the vehicle into limp home mode i had this checked earlier in the week by a garage and had it booked in to be fixed. Someone was interested and came to view and drive it etc,i explained the engine warning light problem and that it was going to be fixed over the weekend. However he turned up a day early demanding he needed it urgently and would get the problem fixed when he had time.i explained that it was going to cost £50 to fix and he just suggested taking the £50 off the sale off the van which bought the price down to 950. Tonight he pulls up outside my house ranting and raving with a diesel leak blaming me,yet he been driving it around for a week with no problems, apparently he got up this morning and his drive was covered in diesel he stood threatening me that i sold him a nail and that i covered it up and he had already started legal action in place to take me to small claims court, and that i dont know how his wife can be,and that she far cleverer than me,and that he knows people blah blah, all this time he was standing in my own house making threats to me! my boyfriend explained to him that he thoroughly checked the van over b4 he took it and was satisfied and he signed a receipt(mainly for our self assesment to say we had disposed of the vehicle)that he was happy to take the vehicle as is.If there was a fuel leak it would not have passed mot as it would be considered dangerous,so there cant have been anything wrong with it when i sold it,i feel he has done something to it and using me as scapegoat my bf rang our mechanic up n he told us what problem was that there was a split in the diesel tubing,it took 2 mins to fix it,but surely it shouldnt have been our problem to start with. The guy was still moaning even after we solved the problem and was muttering things. Now i feel that any other problems he may get esp if he doesnt get the engine management thing fixed he will be back threatening me again. He was trying to scare me i think but i dont scare easily,he just peed me off with his threats which then makes me hostile. I told him if there had been any leaks there would have been marks on the road outside my house which there wasnt, and also if it was leaking it has been parked on his driveway for a week and there has been nothing there, else im sure he'd have been back before now. I dont think he has no rights to come back to me,but just wanted to check and what about his threats to sue me? does he stand a chance? Just want to clarify my position,i did think about calling my neighbour round who is a cop as i didnt feel good being threatened in my own home.im now constantly fretting about him turning up again and my partner wont go and leave me alone now just in case.many thanks for your replies they were all real helpful, and no im not in any motor trade was a genuine private sale as i sold that to get something smaller,id owned it 3yrs and photocopied every single receipt for everything i have had done on it since then plus all old mot's,he even said he dont trust mot!many thanks for your replies they were all real helpful, and no im not in any motor trade was a genuine private sale as i sold that to get something smaller,id owned it 3yrs and photocopied every single receipt for everything i have had done on it since then plus all old mot's,he even said he dont trust mot!many thanks for your replies they were all real helpful, and no im not in any motor trade was a genuine private sale as i sold that to get something smaller,id owned it 3yrs and photocopied every single receipt for everything i have had done on it since then plus all old mot's,he even said he dont trust mot!you have all given me good advice so id like to choose all of you as the best answer lol many thanx for your support n advice :-) more

Resolved Question: is there really a MAC 120 Palette or are all the ones advertised fake?

I'm after a really good make up eye shadow palette that has a lot of variety in it in terms of shades and colours, and everywhere i've looked keeps advertising ebay links for a MAC 120 Pro Pallete. prices that seem believeable and are from in the UK start at about £50+ and i was wondering if they are acturally real or fake? does a 120 palette by Mac actually exist? more

Resolved Question: Can online shops just refund because I bought at a price displayed in error?

I bought a PS3 game from a Play.com seller for 8.99. It was for a new game retailing at 39.99 elsewhere.. I paid and was emailed saying my money was refunded due to an error in its system. I saw it advertised for 8.99 and bought it. It was processed etc. I know they made a mistake but that happens in shops on the high street and they have to charge the tag price what about online? more

Resolved Question: College interview: Is this good on "Why I like a certain magazine?" (319 words) thanks?

Sugar Magazine is great because it is very informative and features real life stories that are interesting. The titles of the stories are displayed on the front cover which is always bright and attractive which appeals to younger readers. Sugar has its own website that you can sign up to for free and get the latest celeb gossip. You can always enter competitions to win various prizes and comment about it. Sugar Magazine has a lot of fashion styles in and tells you where each item is from and how much it costs. Pages full of girls pose the clothes, shoes and accessories, so you get to see the whole outfit. It suggests make-up and hairstyles for different occasions and face shapes that are inspired by the latest celebrities and trends. Various different hair and beauty products are advertised too, as well as the latest movies, songs and books. What girl could ask for more? It always has at least one celebrity that they interview or inform you about, such as Aston from JLS or Amelle from Sugarbabes. They sell the magazine with freebies, like a bag or some make-up which is always good considering it’s free (even though the price of the magazine is £2.50). Sugar adds a Lad Mag in which tells you what they think about certain things girls do – like sleepovers – which is also interesting to know. A whole two pages is full of shameless things people have done. It’s always nice to know that you are not always the embarrassing one. Sugar provides you with a 35 day horoscope, which I don’t believe in but is still nice to know what the people have predicted for you for that that day. Most of all, Sugar gives you great opportunities and great chances to win stuff. However, the chances of winning are slim but as always: You have to be in it to win it. any bigger words I could use? Anything to make it more exciting or less cheesy ? xxuh, I am a teenager, a girl teen. The magazine is aimed at us teens so of course I am going to like it. And celeb is all about MEDIA tw@T so no, it does not ask to bring in your favourite geography thing because I AM NOT DOING GEOGRAPHY I AM BRINGING IN A MAGAZINE! You need help, mate, seriously. more

Resolved Question: Would you buy a video games console like this?

It would be a portable games console, kind of like an iPad in physical design, only about 1 and 1/2 inch thick, with a thin, wireless controller that pops out of the side. Would probably be smaller than an iPad. About a 9-10 inch screen. I'm doing a project at school, where we have to design a concept product, and then set a price for it, and advertise and 'sell' the idea to other people at school. The more money we make, the higher the mark. Obviously we wouldn't be actually making this, or selling it, we'd just be doing everything else involved with making and selling it. So, for example, if someone saw an advert, an would buy it if it was made for the given price, they tell us, and we note it down, and then add up all the 'sales' So I wanted to know whether you thought this would be a good idea to use.I came up with the idea ages ago, before the project came up. I was thinking of what portable console to buy, and my brother asked why I wanted to get a portable one, the screen's are always too small for the games to be enjoyable. And I thought it'd be good if someone made a portable console with a decent sized screen. I originally thought it'd be a kind of laptop design, with a flip up screen, but then I realised how ridiculous it'd look with all that blank space where the keyboard is on a laptop, so I thought of a tablet, with just a screen, and then maybe a protector that pulls off and slots on the back (like a calculator's protector) and so to explain the tablet screen concept, I said the iPad, as that's the only thing existing that would be like this. The controller would be a double joystick thing, with two buttons either side and two buttons on the top (like a DS, PSP), an oblong about 5-6 inches long, 3 inches wide and about three quarters of an inch deep. It'd have no batteries, and would charge if plugged into the console when the console is charged. When I said 'like an iPad', I did add 'physically'. By this I meant that it looks like an iPad (like a tablet type thing, more of just a screen), it wouldn't be like an iPad in any other way. more
