I share an office with someone who uses my office equipment (ie printer, paper, ect.). He connects to the network printer through the front office computer which the laser printer is connected. The front computer has to be on for him to print. I have recently become quite curious if he uses my printer/paper after hours to print "self-promotional" items that are supposed to be done at his own cost. Ok. Fiance' is a DJ. Has been booked pretty solid thru August- I have helped him every time. Recently, he had an outdoor event to do for his work- this is an all day thing. Up at 7 am and home at 10 pm. Fiance's children refuse to help him as there is nothing for kids to do there. My dd (10) and I go and help out. Fiance' is immediately complaining. Starting to unpack things and asks how many drinks I got- cause obviously not enough for all day. (We brought 18- 3 ... 6 packs.I figured one per person) His work also supplies us lunch and drink. So as we r unpacking people from work offer to help. Fiance' offers them a drink- that I brought taht there isn't enough of- for their genorosity- then tells me to get it for them. I do so nicely. He offered about 6-7 people right there. Later, fiance' gets a few promotional items that other businesses are giving away- he is away from the DJ booth about the entire day. He also managed to borrow a trailer so he could haul his motorcycle so he can ride it around at this event- that he is to be Dj-ing. (IHe usually disappears and I run the booth/music- and can't find him- have to call his cell when people from his work as me things about this set or that.) Am I selfish and stingy? Almost two weeks ago I made my first sims2store purchases. I had a total of about 35 downloads including a few free promotional things. The problem is 3 of the items I did pay for are not showing up in my game. -Bowdacious dining chair -Floral foldy chairs -"I showed up" arch I'd expect to find the arch under party stuff and the chairs under, well chairs. However they do not. show up there or anywhere for that matter. I've been growing ever so impatient with EA's tech support. Materials & Suggestions 4 a Mental Health Booth? I am a member of a local support group for people that has or has had any type of mental illness or just need someone to talk to. This is the first type of independent mental & physical wellness group in the state of Mississippi. We have tried to get a grant through the state of Mississippi but we were turned down. It is getting very hard to keep this program going, because we have absolutely no type of funding. We are going to have a booth at a local flea market, arts & crafts, & antiques show. I am looking for some free promotional material, that we might could put our group's name, phone number, & website on. I am also looking for any type of free mental health material & also ideas to draw attention to our booth. I would love to see some pictures of other booths that people has had. We are developing promotional items, and I just want to know if parents of 18 mo children are still putting them in onesies. Would you prefer that we stop the onesies at the 12 mo size and make child-sized t-shirts instead for the older children? The 18 mo sized onesies measure 17.5 inches from the neck to the crotch -- that's a pretty big onesie! Please let me know so that we can have these promotional items well received.I suppose the logical question that follows is if those who are voting for onesies would be terribly disappointed if they received a t-shirt instead. It's mainly a side hobby thing that I do - it certainly doesn't make enough money to constitute a second job, though we do parties and craft shows. People like our products, and we have a nice base of customers that know us well. I already am on etsy (just a few items for now), I have a website with a domain matching the name of my business, and I am opposed to using ebay because fees are much too high. Voting Question: Can retailers raise the prices on promotional "buy one get one free" tobacco products?

I live in TX and many stores in my area have promotional "buy one get one free" tobacco items. They have these promotions on cigarettes and cigars. The price of a single pack is priced one way and promotional items given to consumers by the manufactuer are priced higher. Most of these products have printed on them " taxes and fees are paid by manufactuer" for the free item. Are these stores allowed to raise the price of an promotional item given to us by the manufactuer to make more profit for themselves? Example a store has posted that a pack of Newports is $3.99 a pack. They are also selling packs that are bundled because when you buy two, you get one for free. Thses are priced at $11.99 for the 3 pack. If I buy two at $3.99 and am supposed to get one pack for free, how can they charge so much for this promotional item? If anyone knows any laws in Tx on retailers and price setting please respond.The 3 packs are bundled by the manufactuer, not the store. If a single pack is $3.99, a buy two get one free should be $ 7.98 plus tax on two packs. But the stores are making a profit on what was packaged for the consumer as a gift. This is my problem.The manufactuer makes a special box that includes the two packs you must buy at regular price, and this box also includes a free 3rd pack which states on it "not for individual resale" and taxes on free pack are paid buy the manufactuer. Can a store charge a consumer for anything for the free 3rd pack given to us by the manufactuer? more
