Hi, I am in the market for a new wireless router. If anyone could recommend me the best or one of the best wireless routers out there that would be appreciated. I have heard of brief things such as dual band and etc. I heard the AIRPORT express was good , but didn't offer enough Ports of some sort. Currently i have a older Linksys Wireless G router. On my Network i have a desktop, 2 Laptops one a macbook, the other windows laptops both with wireless N cards built inside. Along with the laptops i have a PS3 that connects wireless, and a wireless hardrive. Whenever i try to stream music from the wireless hard-drive i can easily say that it takes a bit of time to access and play the music or files from my laptop. Also in about a week or so i am getting cable. They advertise up to 15Mbps. Currently i have up to 3Mbps with DSL. Do you think my current router will bottle neck the speed i receive on my wireless devices? Also can anyone please explain to me how you can determine the speed you will download at based on the Internet service providers claim? How many KB/SEC can i expect to download if advertised speed is 15Mbps. Also how does the relation work with routers. As new ones i have noticed claim 300Mbps with wireless N technology, and wireless G is 54Mbps. Thank you!Thank you. So each and every router should i always assume real throughput should be half of what they claim? So 300Mbps router i should expect real throughput to be 150Mbps. Which would be a lot of extra room for the router to handle a faster connection. Also how did you figure out the KB/SEC with a steady connection of 15Mbps. Do you divide anything. Thank you and if anyone can recommend Excellent routers with Dual band. moreResolved Question: I have a rental house at Myrtle Beach South Carolina and I would like to advertise it in Canada. Part II You are going to buy a car that will need to be financed. You will need to look at different options and decide which will be the best choice for your situation. You will need to find a car on the internet that you want to purchase. •Find an advertisement for a car that you would like to purchase. •You can look at any internet site, but you might consider: http://www.edmunds.com to learn how the advertised prices compare with market prices generally for cars of the same make, model and year. •Once you have found the automobile you want to purchase and determined how much you will be spending on the car, you need to calculate the monthly payments. Use the amortization calculator at http://www.bretwhissel.net/cgi-bin/amortize to calculate the monthly payments. •Calculate the monthly payment for your car for each option given below and complete the table. I'm new to internet marketing and I'm trying to build a list. I don't have to build it fast just steady but I don't have much time to write articles an all that stuff. I am a student majoring in integrated marketing communcations..essentially a combination of advertising, marketing and public relations. I have always heard this is a promising field, but I have been looking at jobs on the internet and there don't seem to be many opportunities for entry level positions in these fields. I will have experience via internships and have a few good contacts in the area, but I am very worried about the lack of opportunities when I graduate in 2 years. Will there be any jobs for me?! good moreVoting Question: Can I sue my former university for falsely advertising expected income upon graduation?
"Many, many trade schools take a ton of money from both the government and their students, drive those students deep into debt, and then leave them stranded on the job market, no better off than they were before... If it weren't for federally subsidized student loans, students would not be able to borrow money to enroll unless the bank thought there was a reasonable chance that the course would actually pay off. The students, too, would probably investigate things a little more closely, if they had to earn the money before they enrolled in the school...Still, these institutions are sharks, praying on the most vulnerable members of society as they try to improve their earning power and get a toehold in the middle class. You often hear people claim that generous financial aid and student loan programs are necessary to help lower income people--but it is lower income people who are likely to find themselves trapped by one of these schemes...The government has all the information on job placement; that should be published on the internet, and promoted so that virtually every potential student knows where to look. Schools that make misleading claims about future earnings should be subject to fraud investigations. And perhaps the rules of student loan programs should be rewritten so that any school whose graduates don't usually significantly improve their earning potential, can't use the federal student loan program." So, I'm 19 *soon to be 20*, graduated high school almost 2 years ago, and, I'm still torn about what to do with myself. When I graduated I had no direction, absolutely no direction lol. I tried my hands at all kinds of things, but ended up quitting. Not out of depression or "oh I suck at this blah blah blah", but just because I get bored. I'm the type of person that gets very bored and restless if I don't have something to do........except when I was working at my last job, and when I play my music. My last job was awesome, pretty much was with an internet marketing/consulting/advertising companies. 2 of them at once in fact (working with my direct boss, and then helping him out with his biggest account as pretty much the "assist consultant" or "secondary consultant"). It wasn't your typical white collar, desk-jockey, type job. That type of job, where I'm just pushin paper/pencil would kill me, I'm way to restless. But with this past job, I got to be creative, I got to use my ideas, I got to edit/make videos, websites, pictures, etc. And I got my training for free. BUT, unfortunately, due to the economy, the business has taken a hit. Boss said he can't afford to pay me right now, and didn't want to have me working for free lol, but that I'd most likely be able to come back in a couple months. So, more like laid-off than fired. Now on to my music. I play flamenco guitar. I play everyday and I can honestly say that it's the one and only thing that truly makes me happy. It's my release. I would absolutely LOVE to make a career out of it, but it's music, much easier said than done. And considering it's also flamenco, considering most people probably think about the bird (flamingo) when they see the word, it's not exactly all that main-stream. Lately I've been very lost, very very lost. I've tried my hand at a few things, and quit all of them. College........psh, yea right. I'm not lazy, not lazy at all, trust me, the responsibility of my last job was enormous. It's just, college isn't right for everybody, some people just aren't meant to go, and I happen to be one of those people. What can I say? I tried, only lasted a year then I decided that I couldn't keep doing it. And some more things here and there I don't want to elaborate on, and make this any longer than it already is. Anyway, on to my question (sorry for rambling), when it comes down to it, the only 2 things I haven't quit are: my job, and flamenco. The reason why I keep trying my hand at other things and not just sticking with music and the job that I have/had, is that it's free-lance. Times are good, times are bad. Music is artistic, and the web-job is free-lance. Basically, it's not something I'm guaranteed to always have (if that makes sense). And I'm a person that grew up with VERY little stability in my life, so the thought of living the rest of my life like that......just the thought of it stressed the hell outta me. But still, those are the only 2 things I haven't quit. So, finally, my question is: What just sticking with my gut and do music and the internet-marketing job (when I get it back, or even finding clients of my own), or should I keep searching for something else? Just trying to get some other people's (aside from family/friends) view, you know, people who don't really know me, kind of an objective point of view. Thanks and I appreciate your advice. SamTo CarolO - I've been paying my own bills lol. And I'm currently searching for a new job/clients and leads of my own (I don't think I can count how many places I've applied to this week, from odd-jobs to grocery stores to professional companies, I just some form of temporary income) So it's not like I'm sitting on my ass. I have been living with my father, but like I said, I help out with the bills and pull my own wait, I'm not a bum. And if you didn't notice how I said in my question "aside from friends/family", I've already asked them, they're the first people I asked. I'm here for an outsider's (objective) point of view/personal opinion. moreResolved Question: A name for an advertising services?
Hello, we were thinking about opening a business of advertising services, graphic design, websites, viral marketing and video. I just turned 20 and am a sophomore in college, and some guy who just graduated from my college recently told me about this "paid" internship. I am a bit unsteady about the lady looking for interns though...The thing is, she is around 60 yrs old, and obv. her ideas haven't taken her anywhere yet...she wants to start a website where she sells articles to CEO's*although the information isn't anything special*...Every article that I write and is then bought I get $25...I highly doubt many articles will even be purchased though. There are two other interns...the weird guy who graduated told me about it (, and this 50 yr old guy who (although he seemed to have had a nice career in the past) is doing it to get into Business. I am going into business, marketing and advertising *minor*, and I dunno...I haven't started any of my major or minor classes yet, but I just started this "internship," but am starting to feel it is a waste of time. Here are my concerns: *The internship is for some lady's website. *Her idea seems pointless to me since most CEO's are CEO's because they already know how to do business...not to mention, the articles are NOT worth paying for. *The lady is really disorganized and doesn't seem to care: For instance, she told me to meet her at 1:00 for training...so I had to leave class early...and I waited for her until 1:15, called and left a message...well, I finally at 1:45 I read my email and notice she sent an email out just then stating 2:00 (although she sent me a private email stating 1:00)>:( She had her phone, but never called me back, and when I told her, she just laughed. *She also doesn't seem to know how to do things...like she will accidentally close her internet windows and have to reopen everything...but she insist on typing in the URL...through pecking...and will make a mistake so it takes around 5 minutes for her to get to a site. She also spells my name incorrectly half the time, and yesterday sent out an email telling me and her two other interns to meet her at this bar and she would buy us drinks. I emailed her and reminded her that I am underage along with an attachment of something she asked me to send. She sent THREE emails in response to my attachment, but said nothing about the bar...the meeting is tomorrow *she is last minute as well* *I am studying abroad next year, and want to self-study *I like languages* Japanese before I go...and she waste sooo much time...I studied abroad before *high school* with no language experience, and if I had some beforehand, I would have been even more fluent -_- It has only been a few days, but I am thinking maybe I should drop this internship and focus on one with an actual Marketing company next year when I start my business classes *I live in the Silicon Valley* I am not sure if this internship is worth it...it sounds like a pyramid scheme, but what bothers me most is this lady is very incompetent and confusing *like she expects everyone to know what to do/to be available whenever she wants/etc* I like the idea of an internship, and don't mean to sound pessimistic, but I just get a weird feeling about this lady... Thanks in advance and I hope I don't come off as cocky or too mean!! ^____^ moreVoting Question: Do you think this is right?
Puppy Mills: Holocaust For the 21st Century Atrocious... Abhorrent... Inhumane... Sickening... These are only a few of the adjectives that come to my mind when I think about the growing number of commercial mass puppy breeding operations that are thriving throughout the USA and Canada at this very minute. A dog and puppy "holocaust" is taking place, with "canine concentration camps" in every state and province. Most of us have heard about puppy mills, but (and I am guilty of this, too) we avert our eyes and minds from them - because the truth is just too horrible to think about. Well I received my "wake up call" yesterday when a "responsible breeder" attempted to post advertising on "Responsible Breeders Showcase", my web site dedicated to responsible dog ownership and responsible dog breeding. In checking out this breeder, as I do with every breeder that wants to showcase their dogs and puppies on my service, a search deep into the bowels of Google revealed a shocking document which told me just what this breeder was all about. She had been charged with numerous counts of animal cruelty and neglect, all related to her keeping breeding dogs in a barn without adequate care. Many of the dogs had to be euthanized due to injury and illness as a result of this neglect. There was even mention of findings of dead dog carcasses left amongst the living dogs. Despite these charges, the breeder was still in business. In searching Google for information about this breeder, I was shocked to discover just how many "breeder directories" had allowed her to advertise - no questions asked. I was disgusted and alarmed. Sadly, the Internet has become an advertising Mecca for puppy mills, back yard breeders, puppy brokers, and others who profit from misery. The number of commercial dog breeding operations in the USA and Canada has more than doubled in the past 10 years, and their numbers are still on the rise. With high-profile celebrities like Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie and Britney Spears waltzing into pet stores and buying puppies like fashion accessories, it's no wonder that there is such a market for these cruel profiteers to exploit. The public sees only adorable little teacup puppies being toted around in designer dog carriers - what they don't see is the haunted look in the eyes of the parents of that cute little puppy - the dogs who live and breathe solely for the purpose of producing more and more "cute little puppies", confined in cages and runs, often without adequate food, shelter, room, clean water or veterinary care - and ALWAYS without the one thing that dogs thrive on - human companionship. The term, "Puppy Mill" has been used to label many types of dog breeders, and there are many who disagree on what the definition of a "Puppy Mill" really is. Certain radical animal activists would have dog breeding in general against the law (which would likely see the extinction of most of our most beloved purebred dog breeds within about 10 years) For me, a "puppy mill" is a "dog factory", where dogs are seen as "equipment" and puppies as "the product". Like any business, the goal is to make the most money possible while keeping costs to a minimum. Dogs are kept like livestock, in small pens or cages, and bred at every opportunity until they are too old or ill to be of further use to the "factory". Once this occurs, these dogs are "disposed of" - either killed or sold to laboratories to be subjected to further mistreatment. Not all commercial breeding operations are this bad - and most are not this good. I'm not going to fill this article with graphic photos of neglected dogs standing behind chicken wire - or cooped up in small, filthy pens barely big enough for them to turn around in, much less get the daily exercise a dog needs to remain healthy. I'm not going to detail the stories of gross neglect and abuse that so many breeding dogs and puppies endure at the hands of their owners. What I AM going to do is hopefully incite a call to action, outlining what we, as dog owners and dog lovers can do to help make puppy mills go away forever. Like the man who coined the term "Man's Best Friend", I have always seen dogs as loving, joyful, innocent, forgiving, intelligent animals. I've heard that dogs have the intellectual capacity of a 4 year old human child. I love dogs, and I really have to wonder how these charming and wonderful creatures can be treated with such disdain by lawmakers. How can it be legal to "farm" dogs like cattle, regulated only by the USDA (US Department of Agriculture), who ensure only that each dog's "basic requirements for life" are met? How can it be acceptable in our advanced society for 1 person to own in excess of 250 dogs, and do with them as they please? How can the "Companion Animal Act" omit the one thing "companion" animals require the most - companionship!? It's a stunning display our society's apathy, lack of education, lack of information and lack of meaningful sanc moreResolved Question: I want to be a better businessman go easy on me Im 19 lol.?

How to use Internet Marketing. In todays competitve world where there is no time even to read a newspaper completely, all at one stop seems to be the solution. People just want to pose the problem and ‘kablam’- the answer. This can be achieved only through a media where solutions meet at one place - Internet. Since Internet seems to be the most preferred search answer domain, it is inevitable for industries to reach their hands in there too. So how to use Internet Marketing? Simple, people type in their queries in Google and the search engine brings in all results containing the keywords. Hence the basic practical point is to create a website for the central product. Secondly, social networking sites are the new-ins. So...? Create groups connect with people and post the advertisement. Not only will Google match the keywords, people will explore all horizons to the posted material. Also SMTP can be used to send e-mail to multiple recipients. Hence send e-mail with attractive subject lines which catch eyes. Professional link building tool can also be used so that the product get displayed in searches related to publics query Also video is something which people are interested in seeing. Hence start with something spicy and then start advertising the product. The start should be like comedy for example so that people dont lose interest and may also rate the video which in turn would attract other people to watch them. Social sites like Facebook, Orkut etc have video library facility. Hence post them in your account. This would help other people related to you (friends) see the updates. Also you can go to sites which have blogs and questions answered. E.g., yahooanswers, wiki snwers etc are where people pose question. Post suitable interesting answers and give hyperlink to the catchy words to the product to be marketed. Hence when the individual clicks the link he is directed to product advertisement. Get yourselves registered to sms sites which provide free sms services. Write short and sweet advertisement for the product and send them as sms’s to the recepients. Dont forget to give contact id. All these takes a little bit of hard work and research but the work does pay off. I have searched the internet over for a question that no one has been able to answer so far. That question is: If you use a host that you pay for, to host your blog- like godaddy or something, will wordpress still nuke you? I need to know this because I am dissatisfied using blogspot.com where my blog is currently at. I used to use WP but now want to switch back- but I don't want to sacrifice my affiliates or advertising because I am using my blog for e-commerce and affiliate marketing purposes. Wordpress states, "Adsense, Yahoo, Chitika, TextLinkAds and other ads are not permitted on WordPress.com blogs*. If you would like to run ads on your blog, please look into running your own copy of WordPress with one of our hosting partners." ^Does this mean that you can just set up a host and grab your own domain and they wont nuke you? Any help would be great, and I really appreciate it. moreVoting Question: Grants, Loans for small rapidly expanding business that are not SPAM-WASTE OF TIME?

ok, most downloads are illegal and wrong......but then again they wouldn't be selling these amounts of DVD's if it wasn't for internet shopping, or having these takings at the box office (through internet advertising and marketing) if it wasn't for the internet? Directors and Distributors always seem to talk about the negatives with the internet and not the pluses? moreResolved Question: What is the best product to market on Internet and earn income?
I am willing to advertise on Yahoo Search Marketing or Google Adwords moreResolved Question: I'm disabled, broke, highly intelligent, and need to make a business idea work. How is this possible?
First, I understand that this sound arrogant so let me do this. Disabled: 20 years paraplegic, walking but not well. Broke: I have been trying not to take advantage of a system that I have little respect for, but lost my job 4 months ago. Not physically suited to much, and lacking documented education. Highly intelligent: tested 11 out of 12 years of school to be of higher intelligence than 95 percent of the schools I attended. Special placement for "gifted kids" until I moved to a state my senior year that didn't have such a program. Here's my question: I have been developing a concept for a website for several years. I have recently found that another company has started something similar but does not exploit the full opportunity available, but they Just got $25M in funding. There is only one competitor to that sight right now doing things slightly differently, but they are off to a slow start, and seem kind of half in. And, there have been 2 other companies that both went broke in earlier days of the internet seemingly doing something similar. The 2 from the past are harder to research but it seems they both spent way too much money on advertising and not enough on the business of the business. How do I protect the idea and find somebody to develope an actual representation of the full site with all of it's intricasies when I don't have any money? Unfortunately I have never written a business plan and find it rather intimidating, but I can justify and explain every little nuance, from the business, to the backend, to the marketing and the execution. It seems that one of the dead companies may have patented parts of its' process, and this too may be an issue, but phone calls and research thus far all have led to the need to spend money I just don't have. I'm not affraid to share, and I am truly not greedy, but I don't want to let the cat out of the bag to be snatched and made into some foreign meal. Has anybody out here had experience with situations like this? Can you help? Looking for an investment? Please allow me to be clear. I don't have the knowledge or experience to create this site myself. I am an idea guy, and am looking to find out how to execute. I don't have 20 years to aquire all the needed knowledge that others already have specialized in, and need to employ / partner with the needed skills to get this done. Note: I am looking into going back on disability, and filing bankruptcy. Though until 4 months ago I had very good credit, right now that is shot and recovery must be quick or I will be forced to start all over. I would much rather pay my debts and move on with my life with dignity and self-respect if I can find any way to do so. Thank you for your time and I look forward to what comes of this. Peace to all. moreResolved Question: I would like to start a business at a young age.?
Is it legal for me to start a small internet hosting business? I've read up on many pages before that such large successful companies today started back when their owner/founder were only 14-18 years old. I am currently 16 years old and have major experience over the internet, marketing, advertising, and college credits over business courses. I wanted to major in mba and/or marketing/advertising and I thought it may be interesting if I started a company. I thought to myself maybe reseller hosting and domain names would be a great place to start. I am able to provide myself with a website, domain, hosting, and I know of a few places for webhosting reseller. Would it be legal for me to start this business without a business license or anything? Since I'm only 16 years old. In simple words...is it legal for me (a 16 year old) to start a small internet webhosting business? I would accept payments through PayPal, and I would have a SECURE order form and client management system for my customers. If this is legal...how do I gain trust from customers? Letting them know that this is NOT a scam company or anything. The only way I can think of is presenting to them a business license of some sort. But I cannot do that because I'm under 18 and I cannot sign any legal documents to have an 'official' business. Any suggestions? THANK YOU SO MUCH! =] moreResolved Question: PLEASE check this English letter for me!~~?
Hi, I have traselated this letter to English. I am really appreciate if someone could check this for me. Dec.15 is my deadline and I cannot find any native speaker around me. By the way, I think I am good at Chinese and Japanese. I would like to help anyone with Chinese and Japanese problem. With great pleasure and enthusiasm that I recommend to you Miss. X, an excellent student, who had worked under my immediate supervision for nearly three years, to your graduate program. During these 3 years, she put a lot of energy on academic research and set on online advertising, consumer behavior and Product placement advertising(PPL) as her research field. She also worked very well as my assistant and really helped me a lot in my projects, especially in Shizuoka Tourist Administration China Marketing plan, Media preferring of High Net Worth Chinese research projects. Miss X has a unique perspective towards her research. As a result, two of her papers about PPL and new media won National level Award. I would like to mention one of her papers about PPL in dubbed and subtitled movies to explain her research ability. Although the data of the research seemed show nothing special, Miss X analyzed the data again and again using different methods. Finally, she innovatively pointed out that the subtitle did an effect on memory to product, and when a product placed in a international movie dubbed and subtitled factor should be considerate. She said she would continue research in this area and put more energy into the game advertising. I believe that she has already prepared for her doctoral program. Next I would like to talk about her performance in projects to demonstrate her strong execution and problems solving abilities. In 2008, I involved her in my Shizuoka Tourist Administration China Marketing plan project. In this project, the target is High Net Worth Chinese, which is a new concept so the information of it was very limited. It was Miss X to make an effort on solving this problem. She contacted her friends worked in the advertising agency in China to collect useful data. And she had leaded other team members to design a questionnaire, send out questionnaires in proper internet media to collect first-hand information. Within a few months, they obtained valuable information to help the project complete successfully.Could you correct the unnatrue parts or sentences or words for me?Thanks! moreResolved Question: Do Advertising agencies make TV commercials?

If so, is there any instance where it can work legally?
I've looked all over the internet and there are tons of websites that say it is legal, and tons of them that say it is illegal. I know you can send someone cash as a gift(up to $12,000 a year per person), and the IRS doesn't care how you make money as long as they get their taxes from it. So if a cash gifting company has a 1-up or 2-up, I'm assuming it is illegal due to the fact that there is no product you are selling when marketing and trying to find people, or that you are trying to get people to sign-up to send you money? If you had a cash gifting site and you did NOT advertise or try to recruit people to send you cash, wouldn't it be considered legal? Or if you had a product or products that people would get when they sent a cash gift would that work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would just like to know what you would have to do to make a cash gifting program 100% legal? Thanks in advance. moreResolved Question: How can I rent a dirt cheap house in Mexico?
I know there are many many houses in Mexico that rent for under $500/month but I can't seem to find many on the internet. I'm guessing it's because the local owners don't advertise online or much at all. all i need is a house with a roof, running water and electricity. internet/phone is a bonus but not required. and the house needs to be within walking distance of a beach and about 1/2 hour or less drive from the local market or city center, such as cancun. i'm planning on moving to mexico for a year, but i just need to find a cheap house. should i maybe take a trip down to cancun and just taxi around looking for houses to rent? My TOP 10 promotion list. What is your top 10? 1. Search engines. 2. Forums and Message boards are a great way to promote your link. Just put the link in your signature. 3. Use Free Ad Boards. for eg. http://BusinessFreeAd.com or http://ovgo.com These are boards that you can post a text ad free for a pre-determined period of time, usually 5 to 10 days. Then your ad expires and you are emailed the option to re-post your ad free for another cycle. 4. Free classifieds are a fast and easy way for you to start marketing, especially if you're new to internet marketing. For eg. http://tumano.com , UsFreAds.com, etc 5. Pay per click (PPC) is now one of the most popular way to advertise in the Internet. Use Google Adwords, Yahoo! Sponsored Search, etc. 6. Social Bookmarking. Submit your links to social bookmark networks such as digg and del.icio.us 7. Use social networks such as facebook, myspace, linkedin, yuwie.com 8. Publish an E-Mail Newsletter. While it's a big commitment in time, publishing a monthly e-mail newsletter ("ezine") is one of the very best ways to keep in touch with your prospects, generate trust, develop brand awareness, and build future business. 9. Install a "Signature" in your E-Mail Program to help potential customers get in touch with you. 10. Write Articles for Others to Use in their Newsletters. One of the best means of marketing is by submitting articles to online article directories. Nr.11 Register a domain and redirect the visitors. It’s a lot easier for people to find you if you have your own domain name rather than anonymousblog.blogspot. com. :) moreResolved Question: Mcdonald's wifi - Why the terrible marketing move?
Everyone knows most coffee shops have free wifi... mcdonalds is trying to put every coffee shop out of business replaced by 'mcafe'; mcdonald's "espreso" coffees, etc. They recently made a move installing wifi at mcdonalds. Sounds very convienenet, and in truth this would be a great step for "Combating" the poor local coffee shops in rural communities, small towns, etc. But the very strang move was making this wifi connection not only available for PURCHASE (which ISN'T advertised) they made it a hell of a pain to use. Behind a terribly slow proxy, and difficult to connnect, login, and surf, not to mention there are no power outlets available for people to use at mcdonalds. I had to drive my grandmother for a 6 hour surgery about 100 miles away from home. Not knowing what the hell to do for 6 hours i of course brought my guitar and laptop and figured it would be a great oppurtunity to busk and spend some time surfing the web or playing online games at a mcdonalds.... well... with only about an hour remaining on 50% battery... doesn't look like that's going to happen... If any major suit from mcdonalds happens to read this, if they do some kind of customer satisfaction research... WHAT THE EFF??? I had a difficult enough time cyphering through secured connections to find out your wifi name is "wayport" (the company that they use to CHARGE people for internet usage) now my battery is dying, and the internet is SLOW AS HELL because of your dammed proxy! Do yourselves a favour and make everything easier and more affordable for EVERYONE... get a simple dsl or cable connection, hook up a linksys and name your wireless "Mcdonalds" FFS!If you log into your AT&T account (if you pay for AT&T internet) and a few other service providers you can get it through them At mcdonalds... Other then a few others, you have to buy a "prepaid card" or pay with a credit card. I logged in using a friends AT&T account. and it is slow as dial up because their security and proxiesFor those of you who couldn't figure it out my question is: Mcdonald's wifi - Why the terrible marketing move? or you could say "Why would mcdonalds charge for what most competitors offer as complimentary" moreResolved Question: Affiliate Marketing tips that can help?

One week ago I purchased a car from an auto dealer 3 hours away from me. I drove to the dealership to drive the car and have it inspected. The dealership and I agreed on a price. I am paying in cash and needed to move some money around, so they took $500 from me to hold the car and asked me to write a check for the remainder of what I owe on it, and then as soon as I receive the money that's getting moved around I will call them to drop the check and the deal will be done and I will then pick up the car. Here's the thing that's bugging me.....I found the car on the internet. I found it on a popular car website and it was also on the dealership's website. Even though I have supposedly purchased this car and signed all the paperwork, why are they still advertising it? I had a friend of mine email the dealership under her name and ask if the car was still available, and they told her it was. They even offered to let her test drive it. And this is all after I have supposedly bought it. Now I understand that they do not actually have the money in their hands yet; they only have $500 down from me. But the sales guy told me that would take it off the market. I actually understand their point of view if they want to wait to have all the money in their hands; what I DO NOT like is being bulls***ed and told that the car is off the market when they are still marketing it. Is this shady,or is this something all auto dealers do? I did extensive research on this dealership, and they are pretty reputable. This is not some bad neighborhood, buy here-pay here type of place.LOL! Just read first response. Didn't know that; this is the reason I posted on Yahoo Answers. Okay, good. Sounds reassuring. P.S. Haven't smoked weed in 15 years. It's age and bad experiences that make me paranoid, not drugs! LOL :) more
