Resolved Question: Referrals For Freebiejeebies?

Hey! I would really like to get referrals for the site freebiejeebies! Its an advertising site where once youve signed up, completed an offer, and then referred others to do the same, you can receive a free item, and for 31 referrals I can get an iPhone! to sign up please use the following link: http://apple.freebiejeebies.co.uk/313974 Here's some information below I found: HOW IT WORKS: 1. All you need to do is sign up (you only give details of age, email, name and address - so product can be delivered to you). 2. And then you simply complete an offer from the list shown after signing in, the most popular is Lovefilm.com as you only need to do a free trial and you can cancel before it ends so you do not pay a penny. (You do not have to do an offer from the link given on freebiejeebies, you can open a new web page and it will still work.) 3. Once you have completed an offer, you then have to refer friends to do the same. Once your friends have also done the 3 same steps as you, you will be given your free gift. Support from the website: Is this real? It most certainly is. It's an advertising scheme to get more people looking at some of the offers which we are affiliated with. Basically, when a user completes one of the offers on our site (e.g. LOVEFiLM) we get paid by the advertiser. This way, we can cover the cost of your free gift and still make a small profit. A lot of TV programmes and magazines have featured this sort of advertising, including BBC and the Wired magazine - so you can feel confident that it is genuine. For more proof please visit eXceem, which is a forum dedicated to the UK's Freebie Scene - www.exceem.co.uk Proof it works: Why not visit eXceem. eXceem is an independent forum where people discuss all aspects of freebie sites, such as ours. We have our own subforum on eXceem, and we are a 'supported' network, which means the owners of eXceem are confident that we will continue to provide gifts and a good quality of service to our customers. eXceem also has a thread called 'I got my free item' where people post pictures of the items they have received. eXceem members often post to show gifts they have received from us (many eXceem members call us 'FJ') - http://www.exceem.co.uk/forums/i-got-my-free-item/. Sometimes you might find that you are unable to complete one of the offers available through the links on our site (for instance, if you do not have a credit card or if you have already completed the offers that you would like to do). You can still get a gift from any of the freebiejeebies sites. All you need to do is obtain 3 extra referrals in addition to the number required for your chosen gift. So if you want to get a gift which is normally 6 referrals, you can get 9 referrals and we will accept 3 of them in lieu of your own offer completion. Resolved Question: Would a real-time advertising engine work for internet advertising better than google?

I was just wondering your thoughts here, I had a thought as to wether advertising mixed with real-time search results such as from social networks like twitter or facebook could be massive in terms of advertising dollars enabling facebook & twitter to directly compete with a company such as a the likes of google in the online ad business through social ads. Would this be more relevant for consumers wishing to find exactly what they want by filtering search results through real-time and could this become a multibillion-dollar money maker? more

Resolved Question: Should the buyer beware?

My husband recently advertised a car/van on ebay and when a guy came to look at it, preferred another vehicle we had in the garage which while we were happy to sell, had not advertised it. He had owned it for some years and believed to be 1970s. The registration document must bear witness to this fact. The new owner has resold it on an internet website and has been advised that it is a much newer version (1980s) a fact determined by different components which the older model would not have been fitted with. This new owner is now asking for his money back from us. Anybody know where we stand on this? My feeling is that the term "caveat emptor" comes into effect here - let the buyer beware! Any help would be much appreciated. more

Resolved Question: Why does my browser take me to ad sites?

What is the term used when you browse to a www address and then get redirected to an advertising site? I've scanned and deleted all the adclicker trojans and other dodgy stuff but the bloody browser keeps taking me to Ad/'Virus scanning'/directory sites which is bloody annoying. Even when I specifically block the sites on internet settings I still get re-directed to these sites - any suggestions would be gratefully received. more

Resolved Question: Could you check my mistakes in my writing?

Could you be so kind and check my mistakes? It is very important for me. Thank you! "Meeting Customer expectations All customers are different, and they will have different expectation. For each online businesses is very important to meet customers expectation and their wants. Nowadays, customer expectations are constantly rising. Sometimes it is higher that in the offline environment. To respond to increasing expectations, online businesses must improved products and services to meet customer demands. Depending on type of business customers expectation may include installation or connection of chosen product. Most businesses like PC World or Currys provide additional cover or guarantees on their items. For example, to meet customer expectation in term of delivery of items, play.com deceived to offer free delivery for each customer. The challenge for the English language school is to understand what customer expectations will be. Possible a part of its customers will contact with school via online contact form or email. It is very important to keep response time as low as possible. If you sent send enquiry email, how long do you want to wait for response? Most online businesses provide response within 24 hours but the English language school should provide shorter time. If a customer will receiver faster respond form different competitive business he or she may decide to enrol into different language school. Ensuring maximum exposure Many Businesses use the internet to advertise, sell their product/services and promote. If the business is not registered with search engines no one will know that the business exists. Search engines promotion is extremely important element in internet marketing. Without search engine promotion strategies, the search engines like Google or yahoo will not promote a website, and it will not show up high enough in search results. For example if you type “language courses” into Google search box there are over 87 pages of result. Is potential customer more likely to click on webpage which comes up on first page or next pages? What do you think? If you looking for something do you look through all pages of search result? If the business is not registered with search engines no one will know that the business exists."businesses is very important - businesses it is very importante businesses must improved products - businesses must provide improved products what else? more

Voting Question: Could you check my mistakes in my witting ?

Hi! Could someone be so kind and check my writing? Thank you! "Product Development Identifying product Development Opportunities Online appearance may be used to gather, record and analyse data about customers. It helps to discover what people need or want. This allows a business to have better knowledge of their customers, market and makes possible the successful development of new services or products. Many businesses use their website to gather information about their customers and their wants. For example Pc world uses online feedback form to gather information about customer perceptions of their products, prices and services. The English language school may use online research methods to help the business to make better decisions about marketing and development of new products/services. The internet also enables the English language school to offer digital delivery of new information. The language school may use newsletter. It is a regularly distributed publication generally about one main topic that is of interest to its subscribers which is delivered electronically via email. Newsletter helps to keep customers updated on the new important information which they may be interested in." "Market Development and costs Many businesses use its website to appear on other markets. It is relatively cheap comparing to advertising in media and allows a business to expand into new markets without huge costs. Cost of setting up a website depends from type and size of the website. The business will need to choose between building its website itself or hiring web designers. Using a web designer can be expensive, but they have a better knowledge of what works on the web and build a more effective and more safety websites using the latest techniques. A website can break down geographical barriers and create new ways of communication. The Internet gives smaller businesses a relatively low cost strategy for competing on the same online terms as much larger competitors. Using a web appearance helps to reach into a new areas which may not normally be able to reach because of limited capital and expand markets more cost-effectively. Often using web designer or web design agency mean that the business can use existing connections to secure payments system which is very important for businesses like English language school because most of people are concerned about payment security. A web presents will help the English language school to became available for everyone."Alphabeat No.1 fan it doesn't take long... more

Resolved Question: Flat or Studio Rental Central London?

My partner has a long term contract working in London for the next 6 months to a year. We have been looking on the internet for rentals in the Waterloo area but all the estate agents advertising seem to be charging potential tenants a fee for registration and no promise of actually finding anything! Are there any honest rental agents out there? Better still, does anyone have a studio or 1 bedroomed flat to rent (references available, (professional middle aged gentleman). more
