Open Question: My computer won't play any sound!?

I have a Sony Vaio VGC-RA826G(UC) and im running windows 7. My sound was working fine, till about a month ago it suddenly went out. My computer says their is no sound problem and my sound botton on the right of the screen if active while playing any sound. I initially tried system restore, no luck. I then tried updating my sound driver, it was "already up to date". I tried uninstalling " Microsoft High Difinition Audio Device" and reinstalling, nothing. I then tried changing sound drivers. I downloaded and installed "Realtek High Difinition Audio Driver", still no luck. Im pretty mad by now so i tried checking out the obious, cable connection, playback devices, volume control... but nothing had any effect. So now im online looking for some leads, I ran into a website that suggested updating my bios? I went to sony's support site and they have a XP bios update, tried installing it but it says it cant install becuase it decects im not running XP! I also ran into a website that suggested enabling or disabling the onboard sound in bios, but i couldnt find such thing it my bios. I have ran out of leads and ideas, i hope someone can inlighed my life and help me out! I know this is a bit foolish request/proposal, but please listen up. My brother and I are experienced in animation. We also have a well-followed YouTube account where we post all our serials and shorts. (I swear to god that it is not porn, it is comedy.) So anyway, we were thinking of making our own iPhone app to spread the word about our works via the popular platform. We even designed the interface, but there is this one small problem. We can't program! Neither of us is familiar with C++ or any other programming language. That is why we are turning to you, the developers. Not just the backgrounds in any website actually, also the ads, pictures, and even the ask, answer, and discover logos in Yahoo Answers! Is it a problem with a virus? in settings? I am building my very first website using the Website Tonight program that Go Daddy offers, and I would like to copy a header I've seen on another site powered by Go Daddy. This website uses the same template as mine, so I know it's possible, I just don't know how to recreate it. The header I would like to recreate is here: http://www.tropicalforest.us/ The navigation buttons are not part of the header so I'm not worried about that. I would just like to put my own logo on a new image and split it up into two sizes. My main points of frustration are: 1.) How do I get a logo or business name "onto" the image? Is this easy to do, and do I need any special software to do this? 2.) I've yet to create a logo. Does anyone know of any free programs I can use to create one myself, or how to go about contacting a web designer to have one made at a low cost? I would like to print on business cards and paper, too. 3.) The Website Tonight program does not allow a single image to be used for the header, but instead requires that the left and right images each be 404 pixels X 184 pixels. I've looked at the free logo generators online and they all look terrible. I'm an experienced marketing consultant so I know how important a good logo is. I've just started my own agency so things are super tight. Maybe you know of a website I can offer my services as a barter for a logo? HI my name is Rob H and I have a truly amazing new way for people to interact with video games that i believe has the opportunity to change the way people play video games forever. Other then that idea, my team has thought of what we consider to be the perfect MMORPG. What i want to do is build the game. While the game is being designed start working on my unique idea for human/console interaction witch I am calling HCIS, then release them at the same time. But I don't want to sell my rights to ANYTHING and I don't want to rely on anyone else for money, because from my own independent research I have figured out that just building the game is going to take 3 years and cost 4 million dollars. I don't have any collateral to offer a bank, and if i except money from private investors then I'm going to lose a lot of the control over my own company and ideas, not to mention that in any case I am going to end up paying my investors/bank back about 14 million! And this is bad because i have 6 other unique game ideas that would work so well with the HCIS. So, I have decided that I do not want to borrow any money. What can i do to make it on my own? Well, my idea for the MMORPG is a huge epic story, I was thinking that I could wright a book off of the story. I began writing out fundamental key points that if i wright a book must be in the book then i sat back and looked at my notes, there is no possible way that I could fit this into anything less then 4 books. Okay I'll start a science fiction series to make me the money that i need to start my company but my personal research told me that i could only expect possibly $1.00 - $2.00 per book sold and that is if I produce them myself! Well, needless to say I'm not going to make 4 million dollars overnight making my dreams into books, but if i do make them that will give me some capital to start working with and hopefully, a loyal fan base. Alright so I make the books, then I make a website for the game and explain whats going on, put a bunch of mini games that are entertaining and free because you know free games bring people in and possibly create a very very low budget 2D version of the game that players can play online together, the game tibia, the graphics are terrible but A LOT of people are obsessed with that game (myself included). then a lot like tibia make the game play free but charge a low monthly rate that allows players to do more. So through that proses i can get some more fans. Explain on the site that my idea is going to take some serious money and get some donations thou I know that is unreliable it might help a bit.. For the loyal fan base, put some t-shirts on the site, advertise and sell my books on the site. sell some pay per click advertisement space on the site. Then over time HOPEFULLY i can reach my goal but if not i did have one more idea, get as much money as i can, pay my employs to create a demo, and sell advertising space in the game, this game takes place in modern times, and ill bet that right now as you read this you cant even look around the room you are in with out seeing 2 or 3 advertisements weather it be on the side of your can of coke or the name brand logo on the monitor you are looking at. sense advertising is so common in our every day life it would be unrealistic if i did not add advertisement to the game right? So my idea is that your player picks up a pistol, that is a Smith and Weston pistol, its a real model that they actually make, your player finds a car, and bam its the new ford whatever. Your player drives down the street and sees a billboard for coke, and a wall-mart. That is my final idea to get the funding to produce my video game. what i want from you is feed back on my ideas, are they good, do they suck, and do you have any additional ideas that could help me on my journey? I have been trying to start up an e-commerce business with a friend. My friend and I have had an amicable parting of ways. My friend had an artist friend of his draw 2 drawings to be used on the website as logo's. The artist drew the drawings free of charge. The drawings both state the artist's "nickname" on them and I do not intend to remove the "nickname" when published. The drawings both contain the name of the website which I have registered solely in my name. Now my friend and I have parted ways and I have decided to take the website in a totally different direction. I would still like to use the drawings as logo's. What are my legal rights? Can I legally copyright the drawings and trademark the website name in order to prevent my friend from attempting to use them in his own venture? more

I have just launched a really great wedding blog that will feature wedding resources and showcase event professionals and their services. I will have many top name event professionals who will be featured on the site and high traffic.
