Resolved Question: Irritated the Ca State Fair didn't honor the free parking ad on M & TH? Can anything be done?

Yesterday, Monday July 26th, we went to the State Fair. We had a wonderful time and were planning on going that day anyway. BUT I googled "free parking ca state fair" and the first two links are: http://apps.calexpo.com/fair/WhatsNew/View.asp?PRelId=200 http://apps.calexpo.com/fair/WhatsNew/View.asp?PRelId=194 Now I know now that it has the year of the fair at the bottom of the first page, and dates past when this years fair ends scattered on both pages if you actually scroll down and read the entire page, but you know that when people see "free parking M & Th" they're going to stop there and not read the whole page and think "Let's go to the fair on M or TH." Especially when the header and footer are both advertising this years fair. When we get to the fair the parking attendant tells us that the free parking promo was from a few years ago and that a lot of people have complained about it. The $5 admission also wasn't a current promo. Having said that we were already planning to go yesterday anyway, this promo was just an added bonus. But it still bothers me that they wouldn't honor the promo. Especially since so many people have complained about it. They really have no excuse since they've had more than enough time to take down those pages. They must have had the same complaints last year. So my question is: is there some kind of class action lawsuit that can take place? I don't know how class action lawsuits work, btw. I'm not concerned about getting any money back, it's the principle of the thing. Honor what's on your website, or keep it updated!Thank you James. For those of you have 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 or more pounds to lose, I want to do a challenge with you, I want to see who can do this weight loss plan the fastest and who will be steadfast to it. What helps: --Get your exercise equipment out, sign up to a local gym, or do it at home: 1) run/jog/walk (15 mins) 2) stretch (5-10 mins or however long you can before you get bored) -- (stretches: http://www.womensheart.org/content/Exercise/stretching_exercise.asp) 3) lift arm weights, do sit-ups, lunges, and other strength exercises: http://exercise.about.com/cs/weightlifting/a/bestexercises.htm --Sign up onto a free weight loss website: You don't have to know EXACTLY how many calories are in the food/drink you are having, but you SHOULD know about how many calories are in them; here is a website to get a rough estimate of what you are eating: WWW.FITDAY.COM (there are other websites like this); now, trying to keep up with this website and logging in everything you ingest can be hard to do, and some days you will definitely not log in and then you will be demoralized that you missed a couple days and you will stop trying to lose weight, but don't do that, only use this website to see how many calories are in your food, you don't have to log in every day, but by doing it often you will get a feel for how many calories are in certain types of food, and eventually you won't need this website anymore. --Try not to snack, period. (If you're eating 3 meals a day, you will not die if you don't have that cupcake at 4 pm.) They say to eat vegetables when we want to snack, but if you don't like vegetables you will just fall back into your old ways. (Try not to snack at all, but if you HAVE to eat something because you are just dying, then eat a piece of fruit or a vegetable if you can stomach it.) If you see a snack or a dessert, hide it somewhere where you won't bump into it again (out of sight, out of mind) try to walk away from it while doing simple arm stretches and then go get a glass of water. This actually will work if you do it, it helps to stop snacking. If you cut out snacking, especially routine snacking, then it will slowly become less of a habit and you won't feel a need to snack as much. That's not to say that you can't have that cookie your friend bought for you. (Or if you are at a restaurant where they have chips before the meal, take 2 gulps of water with every chip you eat.) Here's the great thing, if you are on a 1,500 calorie diet, you can eat that cookie, just cut out something later at dinner. Like don't eat the garlic bread, or eat 120 calories less of your meal, --make a rough estimate though. If you try to eat EXACTLY 1,500, that diet will NOT last. Don't even try that. Just try to eat about 100 calories less than you wanted to eat for the day. So if you wanted to eat 1,500 calories today, only eat 1,400 calories. Because when you're estimating food, that 100 calories will slip in there. --Take into account how much you exercised that day. On the fitday.com website, they have a section telling you how many colories exercising will lose. You type in the exercise you did, ie jogging, for how long, ie 15 mins, and how vigorous it was, ie mild. You'll only need to use this feature a couple times if you're consistent with your exercising. Starting When: August 1st. (Or whenever you read this.) Side Notes: --This is no scam, by the way, because I AM a real person, I'm obviously not trying to sell anything, and I've tried this stuff before and it was working. But I did not stick with it because I am human and I fall, but I'm going to get back up again, on August 1st, I will start it up again, and I will be in a better environment for me to do this process more steadily. --This all really works, you just got to stick with it. These little changes in your habits will become second nature to you and after awhile, you will be doing this without even thinking of it. --This is NOT a diet, this is a change in your lifestyle and eating habits, this is NOT a temporary thing. (You may be able to eat more calories once you have reached your goal weight though, that should be the only change.) Just say "yes" below if you are in and want to participate, and I will post.....and I will post more questions to which you can tell us your progression. Hey, I have recently bought an Aprilia rs50, The person before me put an Arrow exhaust on it but didn't up-jet the carb, they also de-restricted it..... Te standard jet fr an Arpilia rs50 is a 74 (main) should i upjet it? and if yes - by how much?. Also should i upjet the pilot jet and the other jet? Right, another problem i discovered whilst taking the carb apart for cleaning was that their is this random hose that goes nowhere.... Its coming out of the airbox and just hangs. There are rumors circulating that as of September 1st, 2010 when Operation Iraqi Freedom becomes Operation New Dawn that all hazard duty pay/combat pay/etc. will stop because it will no longer be a combat zone. Hello I would like to make a web page. I am a newbie but I would like to be a professional some day. Currently I use ASPX for this web page I am making at work. I haven't started doing HTML, XML, Dreamweaver, PHP, etc yet but would like to eventually get there. I know SQL, MYSQL, perl, java, visual basic. I am planning to use a site for applying for jobs purposes. I will want some space to upload my computer programming works and either the human resource downloads the software I created or can play with it online. I am making a website where I want the user to be able to upload pictures to the web server. I want to do this with ASP and JavaScript. I do NOT want to use ASP .NET. Just regular old ASP. Plus, I don't want anything that provides me with an interface that I have to use. I want to create my own interface, which will just be a text box, a button to browse their PC, and an upload button. This isn't really a question. But it is important. This website shocked me when I first came across it. It has disturbing videos of animals being skinned ALIVE. After the animals suffer, they throw the bloody, furless bodies onto a pile where they live for 5-10 minutes before passing. It's awful. So go ahead, click on the link. The site has the video, and then you can find a link near it that allows you to sign the pledge to go fur-free. So... Back in March drop a cup of water on my laptop :( According to the people @ Geek Squad the keyboard and Motherboard was damage and they were going to charge me a million dls. to fix it, so i decided not to fix it. Now im thinking of fixing I saw a website by the name of Pell Technology and they say that they have Laptop Free diagnostics & they can fix a motherboard for $150, if not i will just pay shipping. It sounds good but i have been reading many bad reviews. I was also looking a several motherboards that i can buy online that range from $132-$345. But i really dont know, because some of them say they are compatible with my computer, but they are not the original one that came with my PC. i dont know what to do. weather to send it to Pell Technology or buy the parts online and have someone put them on, or just leave my PC alone and not fix it at all.
