Seems like every question has a spam answer, and instead of actually giving helpful information it just has a link to a book that you have to buy that's supposed to help you get pregnant. It's rude and inconsiderate, not to mention a violation of the community guidelines, to use this as a forum for personal gain and free advertising. I'm sick of it, and am starting to report these as spam. I hope I'm not the only one.So glad I'm not the only one. On my last question I got THREE of these spam answers! Voting Question: My computer is very messed up! Help, please?

First and foremost, I OWN A VISTA. My computer has contracted a virus, more specifically malware. I tried to use System Restore but its disabled by some administrator. I researched on the internet for hours and came across techniques such as regedit, CMD, mmc, msconfig, and A LOT of other things used on run. None of those have worked. I even download Malwarebytes but it doesn't even start. The symptoms include: 1.) With any Search Engine the links posted will go to different sites 2.) The Computer random restarts 3.) All the System Restore checkpoints have been deleted and it will not make any new ones 4.) Home Antivirus 2010 pops up occasionally, I know that it too is not a good program 5.) When Windows boots up it says that there was a problem with ViewMgr and asks to send an error report, which I do not 6.) It no longer lets me log onto the normal user profile but instead the "default" one 7.) It restarts when I go to >>start>search... all of a sudden the screen turns blue and it just restarts 8.) The program Malwarebytes will not install... even after renaming it 9.) Random icons of porn keep appearing on my desktop I have done numerous full virus scans using Mcafee and have done a bunch of things in Safe mode. What should I do? I have spent y entire day trying to fix this and there is still not progress. Please do not advertise any non-free vius scanners and any run techniques such as regedit, unless it is related to VISTA. I did some searching around trying to find the most legit and best quality internet tv software on the web and everything pointed to one software maker: isoftwaretv.com. I just bought the isoftwaretv.com software which supposedly allows me instant access to over 3000 premium channels including ALL the premium channels you get with cable and also the ones you have to pay your cable company extra for. Well..........uh this is a scam people. Sorry. First off in the buying process they only have you put in your email address. Usually with ANY legitimate online store or service you create an account. That's the first clue. Then you'll notice in your address bar that in the buying process you're jumping around to different sites completely away from the domain name of isoftwaretv.com. So they have no way of tracking your account if they were a real company. But they aren't so this makes sense. Next, after they charge your credit card through Clicbank.com they show you get two things for your purchase: the isoftwaretv tv watching software download link, and a link that says "access sports streams". What?! I thought the player was supposed to give me all the sports channels that cable does! So I check it out first and it is all the commentary and stuff you get directly off NBA.com or any other professional sports website, but NOT the game itself. Note that the web address in your browser has changed yet again to http://members-area-tv.com at this point. I'm starting to realize this is for sure a scam. I noticed that I get a receipt from "CLICKBANK" and not isoftwaretv.com. That's funny I thought I purchased my product from isoftwaretv and not from Clickbank. Next, on my emailed receipt from "Clickbank" I see it says "Vendor's Site: http://www.streamdirect.tv" Wow, so I get a receipt from streamdirect.tv but purchased my product from a company who is supposedly called isoftwaretv. Apparently all these internet tv software companies are really just one company putting on different name and look on each of them. So I'm mad at this point and decide to check out the tv software application. It better be good. I flip through 15 channels and all but two of the channels don't even work. So I see what are these other 2985 channels....well they are in foreign languages, poor image quality, and basicaly I wouldn't watch these channels at anytime for free. No live sports, no Live NBA or any professional sports at all. I see only about 20 available english channels and...like I said only two work. Then I get these ad-ware spy programs popping up on my computer advertising for pornography and such with windows that when you try to close them they won't let you. Maybe I've made it clear that this product is only a scam and not a product at all. Funny that no one has bothered to write about this bad company that is nothing more than a scam. Don't believe any positive review on the web, apparently they worked hard enough on their scam operation to fill up the web with false positive reviews. Thing with scams is that it only takes one or two really negative reviews to expose them. So believe my review and don't trust all those other ones. At the very least, if you decided to try the software, make sure you call up your credit card company and reject the charge that was just placed on it if you don't get what you paid for or were led to believe you would receive. That's it, I'm doing that first thing Monday and making sure these guys never get a dime from me. In reading this, please do your duty and notify scam.com or even the FBI to make it less profitable for these type of people. These guys are tenacious so they can and probably will just do something simple like change the name from the current "isoftware.com" to any other random name after they've been exposed through comments like mine. I think the key take-away message here is that internet tv if not freely available on a place like hulu.com or doesn't come up first choice in a google search then it is just not available. If free tv were available then it would be freely available and easy to find, with no software purchase. TV programs are made by and produced by and paid for by their respective networks. NBC produced the shows and paid the salaries of Conan O'Brian, and Jay Leno, etc. That means their content is all theirs and no one gets it unless NBC makes it available to them. Why would they give it away when they have companies like COMCAST paying them for access to their content? I'm not sure about this but I'm thinking that " satelite TV for PC " might be this same company, but you can refuse the charge on your credit card statement if you do check it out and find it a scam as well. more

This post is not some sort of cheap attempt to get a measly few more views on my site from this community. I genuinely want your ideas on my situation. My situation (A new beginning): I just started an IT business a few months ago on the Gold Coast (IT Support, Web design, Computer repair, Computer sales etc). I went all out and QUIT MY JOB to make this happen. Most of my available funds and time have gone in to equipment, general setup (server, web site, some starter clients). I have a couple of refered clients (from friends and family) but not nearly enough to cover my old wage as an Network Administrator. Dilemma (The news): Soon after Quitting my job to start this business I found out I AM GOING TO BE A DAD! Great news...! I am ecstatic! but fearful at the same time because of my situation. My wife will soon be unable to work and I will need to support the family myself. Doing the sums, I figure that unless my business makes an extra 10k in the next 2 months (to cover some financing etc) I will have to give up on the Business and look for work. That would not be a good option as it is hard to find a good salary in IT on the Gold Coast to cover living expenses for Me, My wife, My Mother in-law (living with us) and a new born due in in a few months. Hi! Last night I left my toshiba satellite L300 laptop on to run scans.I have Malwarebytes,Supera Antispyware,Comodo Registry Cleaner and Microsoft Security Essentials installed(all those were running at the same time,but that wasn't a issue ever before). In the evening I had also installed some new software from comodo's site.I downloaded and installed comodo dragon,internet security,system cleaner,easy vpn,backup,disk encryption,secure email,antispam,antimalware,verification engine,time machine,cloud scanner and I also got their free email certificate(you can look up all those programs on their site if you want and here is the link if you want to do so http://www.comodo.com/products/free-products.php ). I 'm not quite sure what went wrong.I just thought it would be a good time to upgrade my security... Everything was ok with the new programs installed,even after rebooting it.I was working on my computer and it was fine,so I decided to let the programs do the scanning overnight.After all,this wasn't the first time. So my old programs and the new Comodo Cloud Scanner were running. In the morning I went to check if everything was alright.Supera had detected 3 or 4 threats(advertising cookies-nothing serious),Registry Cleaner had detected some problems with some keys and Cloud Scanner showed a message about an error that wouldn't let it finish the scan. So I quarantine the items Supera had enlisted(it wasn't the first time,I had done it before),I delete the errors detected by Registry Cleaner(wasn't the first time either) and i close the Cloud Scanner's error window(the program was also closed at the same time).All three actions taken at that exact order.And immediately the computer shuts down.It showed a blue screen of death saying KERNEL....something I don't remember....error,gave some microsoft advice about contacting admin or tech support,checking newly installed software or hardware etc,and then it gets stuck for at least 5-10 minutes showing the BSOD.So I press the reboot button.Nothing.It won't shut down.So...I pulled the plug.I know it probably wasn't the smartest move,but I really was desperate. Then,I hit the on button,it opens showing a black screen with white letters saying microsoft windows cannot start properly.It gave me the following choices:start normally,start in safe mode/safe mode with basic programs(or something like that)/safe mode with command line and a last choice I hadn't seen before starting at the last "secure" or something like that(meaning the pc running at the condition of the last time it started properly) for advanced users.I tried all these options-one at the time of course,but no luck.The screen also suggested using the vista installation cd and run fault repair.That last one I can't do,cause my laptop came with vista preinstalled and no cd came with it.I was hoping I could use a restore point to make things better,or uninstall the programs(1st option is probably best),but I can't even start it. I watched a video on youtube not to long back advertising a virtual real life game. The video was basically this man with a sim diamond above his head and he's talking like a sim. Voting Question: Bought a Dell laptop with a supposed free year of napster downloads, how to use it?

My laptop is brand new and advertised on the box that it comes with a free year of Napster downloads.
