When I got my receipt they charged me for both burgers, added sales tax for "purchasing" both burgers then debited the amount for one of the burgers. I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years we've lived together for 2-3 yrs. I finished uni last summer and had a year out in between it all. Genreally we get on great and we have a lot in common. I currently work in a bridal shop and as expected my customers and collegues tease me with why he hasn't asked or will he at christmas - your birthday - v.day??? its getting tiring coming up with excuses and pretending it doesnt bother me. I dread those special days coming. I approache him about the situation - ''our future plans'' and he remarked that he didnt think i was into that sort of thing - didnt put me down to that type of girl that need it in writing. I kown he loves me - but to be fair i was shocked by this response, After he saw me upset he back peddled and tried to say he was teasing me and winding me up. But i flat out asked him withtears in my eyes ''so you mean to say you'v never really thought of one day asking me to marry me??? he just said '''well no not really''. He loves me - i really believe so...so why this??? A year before this episode, he was moaning about our naf car, it ran fine - it just wasnt cool it was a laguna it did the job. He decides sod it - i'm gonna get me a new car. He approached me and said i'm gonna take out a loan - it'll be my responsability i just want a new (second hand) car. He took out a 3,000 grand small loan and spend every night for at least a month looking for a car online and in the free ads. Now to me a proposal cost nothing!!! Just to be asked is enough to know that this guy wants to be with you for the rest of his life. I'm sure that not all guys think long term of the money that it will involve - coz my man know the drill - i work in a bridal shop and his sister has just been through it.....i know it worries him. But i also now my b/f well enough that if he wants something bad enough he'll get it. I might yell and rant like most women but i consider myself a good g/f i cook - clean i don't really g out much and i'm always home in a descent state and time if i do. I love his friends and family and i'd do anything for him and i know hes the same with me.....so whats the big deal?Did i mention he's 33 and i'm 23......i guess im scared coz i have all the time in the world to settle.....it doesn't seem to bother him how old he is when he starts a family or buys his first house or commits to his partner...the previous two before me left apparently and one married within 6 mnths of leaving him..... i felt awfu for him when he told me....4 years on and i'm starting t see why!!! more

If you're in a foreign city that doesn't have animal shelters, and you want to home some cats, would you only make ads on the internet or would you also put a sign up around the house that says free cats? I'm afraid that if I put up a sign, any random person will show up, maybe someone who isn't really interested in taking care of a cat, but just wants it because it's cute or something. Resolved Question: Will subscribing to a premium membership on Deviantart help prevent me from getting malware?

I have received two malware attacks in the past, both of them claiming to be some form of virus protection. I did not download any files, I did not click any popup ads. I had to get my dad to get rid of them, and it took about four hours each time. I don't think that it was from another deviants page, as I got one of them while browsing my own profile. I'm pretty sure it's the banner ads, but not entirely. Since the premium membership includes ad-free browsing, will this solve the issue? more

Okay, so i got this free wordpress theme from http://newwpthemes.com, and it has ads on the footer. So when you try to remove them in the coding, the theme will collapse and warn you, you have to have the ads. I am planning on creating my first app for the Android Market with the Google App Inventor for Android (I'm trying to get in the Beta). I am thinking of many ideas but I know my first app will probably be a Twitter client. I don't want to charge for it so I can get good marketing to begin with and earn the trust of my users. I was wondering if you make a free app can you still make money off of them with the use of ads, like you can with the iPhone App Store which I don't want to develop for because it is so restricted. I will most likely make a Pro version of my app so users could pay something like $0.99 to get rid of ads and add a few extra features.How much would you say you make in a month off of one of your free apps that use ads? If I can make enough I will most likely bring the app over to the iPhone. Hope someone can help! For the past 2 weeks the wave volume on my laptop keeps turning itself off. Not only that, I keep hearing adverts for bleach, calgon and other random things in the background, even when the internet or no windows are open. It's slowly driving me insane. Open Question: I need help getting rid of this Virus or whatever it is for good.?

Ok, I recently got the AV Security Suite thing on my computer. I downloaded Malware Bytes Anti Malware and yeah, I got rid of the pop ups. At least now I can open everything on my computer, because that infection would block me from opening anti spyware and anti virus stuff. But I eventually got rid of it. I did a full scan after with MB and it came out clean. Then I went to google, to look up something, and when I clicked on my link, it took me to a completely different search engine that Im sure is full of virus infected scams and the like. It always says, "Jump,Redirect" on the top left of my screen when I do this, and when I click back, it won't let me out. Other times another browser window will just open up randomly to some scam site, saying Ive won something. So I followed someones advice and downloaded AD-AWARE, which also scanned me clean. Im really pissed off that my AVG hasn't caught these threats and Im probably going to download a better program. Anyway, I know next to nothing about computers, so can someone give me detailed instructions on what to do to get rid of this "Jump/Redirect" virus or whatever it is? By the way, Im using an HP Mini 110, so I don't have a CD drive. I need this fix to be free as well. If it can't be free, tell me anyway. My Internet is from Verizon (VZAccess or whatever). My browser is Internet Explorer, and I have Windows XP. more

Meaning, has anyone really won a free iPod or a free PS3 or a free laptop by completing those surveys? I completed a short one that offered a free iPad, and I usually just ignore them, but I was just curious to see if those surveys even worked. I used a fake e-mail (of course) and when I got to the end they did a slot machine type thing and I lost. I live in Indiana and my parents moved to Florida last year. I stayed here to graduate highschool and go to Purdue. But even though I never moved, Purdue still considers me a Florida resident and I cannot afford out of state tuition. So... I am moving to Florida at the end of the summer and I cannot take my horse with me. I need to find her a home but I really don't know how much to ask for her. Details: She is a 15 year old reg. paint mare. She is around 15.1 hh. Never foaled. No lameness issues what so ever. Easy keeper. Great hooves, is not shod. Great trail horse, does great on roads, not afraid of cars, loud trucks, motorcycles, or bicycles. Does well with dogs. She is not a fan of goats or other small livestock but will tolerate them for the most part. She is very stocky and mutton withered, thus she is kind of hard to fit a saddle to, so she will come with an all leather australian stock saddle that has a horn, very comfortable. She is very testy of new riders, so she will probably require an intermediate rider. She is very correct in conformation and has great gaits. She will do a long strided trot or a slow jog, she canters great and knows her leads. She stays collected when you ask and backs up well. I ride her in a mechanical hackamore. Could easily be ridden in a rawhide bosal as well. She can be ridden with a bit (I used a smooth ring snaffle) But she sometimes chomps and pulls it. She is just much more relaxed with a hackamore. She can also easily be ridden bareback and with nothing but a halter and lead rope. She neck reins, plow reins, and knows leg cues. Her right eye has a slight blind spot, so she only has about 80% vision in it. For the most part you would never know, but she can get a little spooky at times if she is surprised on that side. She is afraid of fly spray, so I use the roll on kind. However, she is very easy to bathe. She is middle in the pecking order so she does not cause issues in a herd. Even though she is 15, she still has a lot of energy and is a great ride. Also: One of her previous owners had treated her pretty badly. It is very important to take the time to earn her trust. When she is in her stall and she does not trust you, she will immediately turn her butt to you and hide in the corner. She can be weird about her mouth (I'm guessing she had a bad experience with a bit or with having her teeth floated... or both. Who knows what someone did to her.) All in all she is a GREAT horse and I love her to bits. But with her age and some of her quirks, I'm not sure how much to ask. I bought her for $1000 almost three years ago. I really don't care about making money off of her, because I know money is tight and it is more important to me that she go to a good home. She can be a bit cinchy (She likes to puff her stomach out while you tighten the girth.) So I tighten it, lunge her a few laps, tighten, lunge... so on and so forth. I don't like to do the whole knee in the stomach thing, because I know she's been abused and there is no need to bring up bad memories with her. Also, at a canter, you must keep contact with the hackamore (or the bit) because if not, she likes to get excited and crow hop a bit. She does not get out of control or do it out of meanness, she just feels good and gets excited. But, as long as you keep some pressure on the reins, she keeps her head and will obey very well. more
