Open Question: Will me and my ex-bf get back together?

Me and my ex-bf have been together 3 years. We were very close and serious. We were together every night and day. I considered us to be very much in love. We always said "I love." When it was good it was great. However, we did have our problems. We would argue and break up several times just to end up right back together again. He has said some pretty mean things to me before and hurt my feelings. We would get back together and he would say he was sorry. He claims he never cheated on me. The last fight we had was by far the worst. He said he never loved me adn was trying to get away from me for awhile. He said he did'nt want to be with me. I went over his house to try and reason with him. He then called the cops on me saying I was harassing him. I didnt get in trouble... He didnt even file a complaint/report. The cops just called me and warned me to leave him alone. I did just that. I have left him alone. This is the first time he has ever gotten the cops involved. I just don't know what to think anymore... literally earlier that same day he was telling me how much he loved me. Here is where it gets even harder... I am pregnant ( very early). The longest we have been broken up for before was 6 weeks and currently we are broken up 4 as of now. People before have told me that he got too comfortable with me that I need to stop chasing after him and play hard to get. Maybe it's true that if someone loves you enough that they will come seek you out. I just don't know what to do. Do you think him and I will get back together? I need some honest advice. Yes he can be a big jerk at times but then so sweet at times also and I do love him. I just dont want to waste my time and heart on a man if he dosent really love me or want to be with me. more

The people who would like for illegals to be let off for their crimes often say that they contribute to the economy. Despite reports showing that the average illegal child costs 15,000 a year to school and that illegals cost the US 113 billion a year. I heard some say that illegals contribute 1.5 trillion a year to the economy. So if there are 10,000,000 illegals in the country (bear in mind some are kids and dont work) and given that most illegals we are told do jobs americans wont do for less pay (despite stealing identities and working in factories etc) How on earth can say 5,000,000 million people contribute 1500,000,000,000 to the economy. That means they are spending three hundred thousand dollars a year? Even if you take one of the zero off that is still 30k a year. Hardly minimum wage? more

Open Question: Why doesn't my autocheck show the last year?

We purchased a 4 yr old Honda Odessy certified van last week. The dealership gave us a carfax. When we got home we realized after checking the vin online that it wasn't for the correct vehicle not to mention the back of the van was filthy like a painters work crew was using it. The hard part has scratches & both armrests for the driver & passenger are all wore out with some of the material coming loose on the drivers side. Since we noticed the dirty part first, we called the dealership & will be bringing it in this coming Monday. Just a few minutes ago we called & told our problem about the carfax to our salesman & he faxed over a different one from Autocheck. Everything looks good but is is not showing anything on the van from July 2009 to now. When we purchased it last week, July 2010, the mileage was at 64,000 miles. This new report is showing that it was a 1 owner & when he traded it in last year it had 52,000 miles on it. Our concern is who had it & what went on with it during this last year? Honda is supposed to do a 151 point check on all certified vehicles which includes it being detailed. We learned about this after checking online. Nothing was done to this vehicle & it has a slight thump to it when taking off. We would just like others view of this & would they worry about it? Open Question: Issues with stress and anxiety during pregnancy...?

This is my second pregnancy and I couldn't be happier about the fact that I am going to have another child! However, my husband and I are in a really bad financial situation and it is starting to cause a lot of stress. He's been about of work for almost a year now, and I've been the only source of income on a very meager paycheck. Thankfully, we have a very supportive family that has helped us out... until now. I work for family and my father has really helped out on paychecks, but now he has changed how he is paying me so I'm actually making less money. I didn't realize this until today when I went to deposit my check and it was less than what I was expecting. He is also starting to show more favoritism towards my younger sister. She's in college and has decided not to work this summer, so she can have time with her friends. Our father is giving her money to do this, but he can't spare a dollar out of his pocket so I can eat lunch. He also just look her and one of her friends on a cruise and spent a ton of money on them, but he couldn't help me out on a house payment at all. He is also helping her make car payments on a brand new sports car she just got, when he would never help me out at all with my car. I worked all through college, never taking a summer off. I have been having so many nervous break-downs and anxiety attacks over the past couple of weeks or so because of how bad we are financially. My main question I guess, is will all of this stress and anxiety be detrimental to my unborn child? I am trying so hard to keep it together, but each setback we get makes it so much harder. Open Question: What would you do if the vet gave you the wrong results for your dog?

About six months ago our family dog was diagnosed with cancer and less than six months to live. Six months came and went and my wife made an appointment with the vet just to see how things were going with the dog. The vet called to ask why we were bringing our dog in and we said to check on her cancer, and he told us she did not have cancer! So I told him what we had been told and he said he would call us back. When he called back, he said the incorrect results had been given. No apology or anything. Which did make me mad and I said it was incredibly unprofessional and cruel to tell a family their dog is dying and not even acknowledge the seriousness or even apologize. Yesterday in the mail I received all my dogs records and a cheque for a balance we had at the vet. We we now banned! Should I let it go and just celebrate my dog will live, or should I report the clinic? I live in Canada. more

The website is http://christwire.org , and some of their ppast articles have spouted such nonsence as one article titled "proof that blacks are a violent species" and saying that homosexuals should be killed, muslims and jews burnt at the stake, and so much other crap like this. So i want to know what actions can be taken. I know as it is hosted in America, i cannot get the website closed down as inciting racial hatred, but there must be some actions that can be taken against it. It is disgusting. Open Question: What do you think about this situation? A disabled guy was fired because he was disabled?

I work at a cineplex, and there's this down syndrome/mentally challenged person that works there. He was in charge of getting people's tickets and scanning them, but he made so many mistakes, he was pulled off the duty and the manager told him to clean. (washroom, garbage, counters, etc) Anyway, so he's been cleaning here for 5 months now, but recently he was "let go" because the district manager told our manager that he needed to train Chris, so he does more than cleaning. She said we have special employees whose main duties are cleaning, so it's unnecessary to make him clean. Anyway, after our district manager told him to train chris, the manager let chris go, because we don't have enough shift supervisors to train him specifically. (It's the summer so it's always super busy, and everyone is too busy to train him, and no one wanted to work overtime to stay after their shift to train him) So then after he was let go, his parents came to our theatre and this is how it basically went down: his mother was angry that the manager didnt bother to train his song and asked why the manager didnt treat his son like an equal, and this is what he said. "if he had equal learning capacity and speed like a normal person, i would treat him like an equal. sadly, the truth is, he takes too long to learn basic things" And then, he mother reported this incident to the district manager, and our manager was demoted to a supervisor, and another person replaced our manager. So chris was asked to come back, and the manager, who is now a supervisor, is in charge of training chris until he can perform all duties without supervising. i think this is a bad idea, because the manager is being mean to chris now, like if chris doesnt understand, he will say things like "a 7 year old would understand this". i personally think he doesnt even deserve to be a supervisor?? and i dont think the district manager should have put the ex-manager as chris's trainer, because chris is not receiving proper training. what do you think? should we report how chris is getting treated to the district manager again? a lot of us are not happy with this situation, but everyone is scared to step up, including me. more

According to the Muslims, the intended son was Ishmael. But the Jews & Christians claim its Isaac. Its very interesting if we read the Bible. The argument Christians make is that God made the covenant with Isaac and thus the intended son is Isaac. Let us just agree that it is Isaac. This incident happened when Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away, according to the Bible. How old was Ishmael then? The Bible says 16-17 years old and Isaac about 2 years old. Now, just read the following verses: Genesis 21 14 Early the next morning Abraham took some food and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar. He set them on her shoulders and then sent her off with the boy. She went on her way and wandered in the desert of Beersheba. 15 When the water in the skin was gone, she put the boy under one of the bushes. 16 Then she went off and sat down nearby, about a bowshot away, for she thought, "I cannot watch the boy die." And as she sat there nearby, she [c] began to sob. 17 God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, "What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. 18 Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation." Imagine Ishmael as a baby in the above verses and see how it fits like a glove. You might wander what is the reason for all this. If you read this whole episode in the Bible over and over again, you are sure to find something amiss. Some things just don’t tally. Read what The Encyclopaedia Judaica says: In the tale of binding (surah 37:99-110) Muhammad identified the son who was to be sacrificed as Ishmael and, indeed, the opinion of the traditionalists were also divided on this subject. Open Question: Why would an omniscient, omnipotent God make a world not to His own liking?

A lot of Christians are fond of telling us that all humans are "sinners" who deserve to burn in Hell for eternity. Uplifting stuff. Yet, these same folks will claim that their God is "omniscient" and "omnipotent." Why would such a Being knowingly create a world that would end up in such a horrid state? The popular cop-out of "free will" won't get us out of the woods here. An all-knowing, all-powerful God could undoubtedly create only people who would use their free wills to do what He wants. Instead, He apparently produces much of the opposite -- a world of terrible "sinners" -- essentially stamping many people's tickets to Hell before they are even born. On a similar note, I have read in this famous book -- you might have heard of it, the Bible -- that God once wiped out nearly the entire population of the Earth with a flood. That makes no sense in light of other aspects of the Christian mythology. Why would He create a bunch of beings whom He knew He would eventually annihilate? Does He simply get a perverse kick out of destroying His own creations? That doesn't seem very "loving." Maybe it's time the faithful reevaluated some of their God concepts. They might start by better familiarizing themselves with the logical implications of "omniscience" and "omnipotence." If God truly possesses such qualities, it is inconceivable that He would operate in the insane (and malicious) manner that Scripture reports -- unless, of course, He is a sadist.Exodiafinder: My point is that God allegedly knows everything that will happen well in advance. He knows who will follow Him and who won't. Open Question: My puppy got attacked by two Labradors, what happens now?

On Monday I took my almost 10 month old French Bulldog cross Shih Tzu for a walk. We'd just got inside the park and were about 50ft from the gate when a woman walks in with a Golden Lab and a Black Lab. At this point my dog was still on the lead because I was checking to see if any other dogs where around like any resposible person would. As soon as she got through the gate she let them both off the leads. They ran straight for us, while barking. When they reached us they stopped and the Golden one stiffed my pup then just jump on him and started attacking him. My puppy is in no way vicious, he if actually a little scared of bigger dogs so he was cowering when he was jumped on. The Black Lab joined in right after the Golden. My pup isn't even fighting back he's just trying to get away. As soon as it started I tried to pick him up but the Golden one had hold on my pups leg and pulled him back. Then I managed to free him and held him as high as I could (I'm only 16 and about 5'3") but the Golden one was still biting his back end while my pup was weeing all over me. I had the Black one on one side of my trying to get at him and the Golden on the other. Luckily I was with my dad so he managed to drag them off by their collars eventually at which point the owner had just got to us (I have no idea what she was doing but she took her sweet time). She tied her dogs to a bench and came over to see if we where ok and then said "they've never done that before". She quickly made an exit without even giving us her name. Luckily I used to go to school with her son so I know where she lives. My mum rang the police as soon as we got home and filed it as an "incident" report but the woman said we can change it at any point to a "dangerous dog" report, which after a few days we've decided would be best to do. When we got home I checked my pup over, I couldn't see any blood but it's hard to see because he has such thick fur you can't lift it to see underneath, but something was their because my mums dogs kept on washing him. Some fur had been pulled out too but I can't see where. I noticed after checking him that my arm and stomach where sore, I had a few scratches on my arm which I don't know if they are claw or teeth marks but they went down by the next day but I hate green bruises coming through on my stomach and arms now. I really don't believe her when she says they've never done it before because I've walked by her in the street and they have gone to bite my pup. I was just wondering what will happen when we've changed our report. I know we'll probably have re police come to our house to make a statement. But what will happen to her, will she be told to muzzle her dogs and keep them on the lead, will she be fined or will they be taken off her? First off, I'm 18. (AND PLEASE, don't report me. I want to see what you would do if you were in this situation) Now this is serious. I've met this adorable guy off the internet (he recently turned 19).. we spent a month or so texting, msning, and we found out that we live real close to each other (like... 20 min to a half hour away) First, we met at a mall, I brought along two of my friends. Him and I were kind of chatting, although it was kind of awkward in the beginning, it grew better. He liked hugging me. :) Two and a half weeks later, I invited him to a music gig a friend and I were doing. He came with us.. It was quite nice. :) Just yesterday (we've now known each other for a little more than two and a half months now) He began an msn conversation. Anyways, there was a part where I asked him how many hours he worked, he told me the hours he worked.. I was like "Whoa.." (it was a lot.) And then he replied saying.. People historically have come together during international competitions for a variety of reasons, but what has evolved over time are the reasons as to why civilizations across the world gather during these competitions. As time passed, the Romans under pressure of a growing public unrest and high rates of crimes and civil disobedience were forced to find a solution that would appease the public and calm civil disorder. The answer--sports, and so they built the Roman coliseum and presented the gladiator games. The gladiator games entertained the public, lowered crime, and distracted the public from committing acts of civil disorder. So what does that have to do with today? Wednesday we all gathered around our TV sets to watch the World Cup game between Spain vs. Germany. If you notice something about first world countries, most gather with friends and/or family to watch the games and use the world cup games as a means to socialize. Whether you are in the U.S., England,Germany, Netherlands, and the list goes on, most people in first world countries gather in bars or at home with friends and family to establish a sort of camaraderie and socialize amongst themselves. This camaraderie and socialization is caused by one's nationalist sentiment. But the need among third world countries for these events represent something different. Take for example in Mexico, yes we all gather together in our pride and nationalist sentiment for our country, but the day Mexico faced France something magical happened in Mexico. After Mexico stunned France 2-0, reports of violent crime across Mexico fell to it's lowest level in over 20 years. People all across the nation were so distracted by the victory of Mexico over France that most forgot about the turmoils of reality and chose to unite in celebration. Even in cities such as Tijuana and Juarez, people ran out onto the streets to celebrate and not a single gunshot was heard, not a single gun battle between drug traffickers and military police occurred, and the fewest calls of crime occurred. Moral of the story is that in Mexico the world cup is needed because it gives us one day, just one day, to distract ourselves from the turmoils of reality whether it be poverty, drug trafficking, abductions, and etc. For third world countries and Mexico in particular, the world cup gives people, including crime syndicates, a chance to set down everything and unite together as one people hoping for better days and distracting itself from the present to unite in hope for a better future. Through the victory of the seleccion Mexicana that day against France, all Mexicans united to vicariously live on through El Tri and hope that their victory would be symbolic of a better future ahead for Mexico, not just on the field of a stadium, but on the streets of Mexico as well. Open Question: How do I deal with my boss?

I work on a team of 15 people, and each of us have a different area to support with data, reporting, analysis, and such. I have the biggest area of my peers. I support 1,500 people whereas the next dept only has 200. Additionally I get my assignments done on time, if not sooner, and get glowing feedback from my customers. However, when my peers don't get their assignments done, the boss gives them to me, usually near the time I go home for the day. He also demands that I get their assignments done before I leave. (most assignments normally take 2-3 days to do) He seems to delight in dumping work on me, then taking off early, usually with the people who couldn't finish their work in the first place. Also, most troops come from middle and upper class homes and are well educated. Open Question: Rear-ended by Rental Car?

My boyfriend was driving home on the Interstate in typical stop and go traffic. While stopped, the car (Honda Civic) behind him struck the rear of his vehicle (2006 Ford Explorer). Once pulled over onto the shoulder, the woman driving the Honda Civic said she was in a rental car and claimed that someone had hit her from behind pushing her car forward. After inspecting the 2 vehicles, there was significant damage done to the rental cars bumper (hanging off) and a dent in the hood from the Explorers hitch. The damage done to the Explorer was limited to a few scratches and two punctures in its bumper from the rental cars headlights. The rear of the rental car had a small hardly noticeable scratch. The Maryland State Police were called and after arriving they only gave my boyfriend a notecard with a phone number to call in order to get the incident report. But it was not made known to either driver what was filed on this report. **NOTE: The rental car company is a company that takes on the liability of uninsured drivers. They also use our same insurance company.** Filed a claim with Insurance company and after being appraised for $600 by an auto shop suggested by the insurance company, he was told that he would have to pay $500 out of pocket while insurance would only cover $100 and then they would "try to recover" the $500 from the rental car company. In addition, after calling the number for the MD State Police to get the report, we find out that it cannot be obtained for 10 days at a cost of $4. First question is how is it legally possible not to give the drivers a copy of an incident report when called to the scene, let alone make them wait for 10 days on top of paying money for it? It seems like it should be a procedural right of passage for the drivers involved in the incident. We have pictures of the damages to both cars but 10 days is a lot of time for a rental car company to tamper with the vehicle in order to make it look (more visibly) like she was rear-ended in order to get out of paying for the damage to both vehicles. Second question is why would our Insurance not fully cover the damage done to his vehicle in an accident that was not his fault, especially such a relatively small dollar amount? This concerns us in the event that something more costly or something such as hospitalization should happen, would we be expected to pay even bigger bills out of pocket? I thought this was part of the whole point of insurance. more

Open Question: Obama wants to encourage spending to "sustain" the economy, but also wants to balance the budget?

for instance during the G20 summit in Canada it was reported that he encouraged Canadian officials to maintain spending in order to keep their economy moving. I also have to assume he wants the same thing for the US given his love of "money", speaking of which Obama has the intelligence to recognize that increased spending means nothing if there is nothing to back it, or unless for instance that country's net worth is such that it will create any additional revenue. Otherwise it will essentially just be the same money going around and around the country to some extent, which will lead to increased inflation over time and also a weakening of the dollar and ultimately that country's net worth. There is already concern that could happen with China, whom the US owes $6 trillion (I heard) and also the US pumps millions into its economy annually by buying chinese made goods. I fail to see how Obama believes that increased spending will stimulate the economy of the US or any other country (with a lower net worth), when the it is more likely than anything else to lead to inflation and related problems at this point (at least in the US). Note that the US is currently $12 trillion in debt and looking at $15 trillion by the end of FY 2010, in addition to money owed to other countries. more

This statement that common sense is dead? I saw an oxygen absorber today that had a warning label on it " do not eat" so i looked up "common sense is dead" on google and found a small bit that..though made me laugh..made me depressed as i realized how pathetic some people in this world are..and how common sense is pretty much dead. Here it is: Today we mourn the passing of a beloved friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was as his birth records were lost long ago in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Panadol, sun lotion or a sticking plaster to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became businesses and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realise that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and Trust, his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility and his son Reason. Open Question: Is there any way to get this medical bill from having a baby brought down or removed from my credit report?

Ok, so I had a baby in 2008. I guess I was just really naive in thinking that she would be automatically covered on my insurance when I had her. My husband and I both have always had insurance, just separate companies, through our jobs. Since I was using my insurance so frequently for all of my prenatal appointments, I just assumed that when my daughter came she would be automatically covered on my insurance. Well she wasn't but we didn't realize that until we got some letters from the hospital a few weeks later. As soon as we realized she wasn't covered, we called and had her added to my husbands insurance. So, basically everything that happened from the time she came out til about 2 weeks old wasn't covered by insurance. Is there anything I can do with the insurance company since my husband and I have had insurance for many years? Is there anything they can do to work with us on this issue? Now we have thousands of dollars in medical bills which have now gone to a collections agency and are on my credit report. I really would like to resolve this issue asap, but don't really know how to go about it, or what my first step would be. Any help is greatly appreciated! more

Resolved Question: an adult threatening my child in the school playground?

a man came into my child's playground at school today and threatened her and 3 friends over his daughter being bullied. his daughter is not being bullied .. she is the bully.. and the school totally agree with this and have told us that our girls have doe nothing wrong. She has a public defender, the alleged victim was a boyfriend who lied initially and admitted it when he called 911 her first bond 100,000 and second bond hearing is 30,000, 20,000surety and 10,000 re cog. the victim has admitted to myself and her sisters and several other people that she wasn;t shooting at him, the crime was she was arguing with him he was leaving taking his things and he had a sawed off shotgun that he admitted to me was his two weeks prior, they have four young children so she grabbed the gun took it outside and told him to get it out of her house, it went off shot through her van window and he called 911 saying she shot at him. He was nowhere near the van, they took her to jail and because she had priors when she was 19 a drug charge which she doesn't take drugs because she had become a mother of four and is very close to her children, they are using that he admitted he lied to us about accusing her of trying to shoot him and to the prosecutor saying he will not be a witness for the state, he has mentally abused her for 5 years he has fooled around on her and took everything away from her would not let her get a job saying he will take the kids away from her and he doesn't have a job he sells cars by putting them in other peoples names, he has no drivers license and he has hit her he also has two social security numbers filed taxes illegally etc need I say more, but they arrest my daughter because the gun went off. He has threatened to have me shot on his porch in the past how do I help my daughter with no money to retain an attorney? Why isn't the public defender questioning the inaccurate police report to which it stated the victim was shot and the victim told the prosecutor that he wasn't shot? Where is the justice? Are there any groups or attorneys out there in Ohio who believe in the justice system? That are willing to take on a case like this? and what happens if I contact the media? will it hurt her case? I am at a loss and need some ideas to try.I totally appreciate the feedback, let me make it clear, she did not shoot at the boyfriend, she merely was removing the gun from the house because of the kids, she did not want it in the house. It has lasted 30 years so far and claimed more than 25 million victims. It has cost almost as many lives as the Vietnam War. It determined the result of last year's congressional election. Yet the American news media do not want to talk about the Dirty War, which remains between the lines and unreported. In fact, to even suggest that the war exists is to be discredited. So let's start suggesting, immediately. No matter how crime figures are massaged by those who want to acknowledge or dispute the existence of a Dirty War, there is nothing ambiguous about what the official statistics portray: for the past 30 years a large segment of black America has waged a war of violent retribution against white America. And the problem is getting worse, not better. In the past 20 years, violent crime has increased more than four times faster than the population. Young blacks (under 18) are more violent than previous generations and are 12 times more likely to be arrested for murder than young whites. Nearly all the following figures, which speak for themselves, have not been reported in America: • According to the latest US Department of Justice survey of crime victims, more than 6.6 million violent crimes (murder, rape, assault and robbery) are committed in the US each year, of which about 20 per cent, or 1.3 million, are inter-racial crimes. • Most victims of race crime—about 90 per cent—are white, according to the survey "Highlights from 20 Years of Surveying Crime Victims", published in 1993. • Almost 1 million white Americans were murdered, robbed, assaulted or raped by black Americans in 1992, compared with about 132,000 blacks who were murdered, robbed, assaulted or raped by whites, according to the same survey. • Blacks thus committed 7.5 times more violent inter-racial crimes than whites even though the black population is only one-seventh the size of the white population. When these figures are adjusted on a per capita basis, they reveal an extraordinary disparity: blacks are committing more than 50 times the number of violent racial crimes of whites. • According to the latest annual report on murder by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, most inter-racial murders involve black assailants and white victims, with blacks murdering whites at 18 times the rate that whites murder blacks. Praise be to Allaah. The Qur’aan and Sunnah indicate that the jinn exist, and that there is a purpose for their existence in this life, which is to worship Allaah Alone, with no partner or associate. Allaah says (interpretation of the meanings): “And I (Allaah) created not the jinns and humans, except they should worship Me (Alone).” [al-Dhaariyaat 51:56]. “O assembly of jinns and mankind! Did there not come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting unto you My Verses…?” [al-An’aam 6:130] The world of the jinn is an independent and separate world, with its own distinct nature and features that are hidden from the world of humans. Jinns and humans have some things in common, such as the possession of understanding and the choice between the way of good and the way of evil. The word jinn comes from an Arabic root meaning “hidden from sight”. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “… Verily he [Shaytaan] and his qabeeluhu [his soldiers from the jinn or his tribe] see you from where you cannot see them…” [al-A’raaf 7:27] Allaah has told us in His Book the essence from which the jinn were created. He says (interpretation of the meaning): “And the jinn, We created aforetime from the smokeless flame o fire.” [al-Hijr 15:27] “And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire.” [al-Rahmaan 55:15]. According to a hadeeth narrated by ‘Aa’ishah, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The angels were created from light, the jinn were created from fire, and Aadam was created from that which has been described to you.” (Reported by Muslim, 5314). Types of jinn Allaah has created different types of jinn. Among them are some who can take on different forms, such as dogs and snakes; some who are like flying winds with wings; and some who can travel and rest. Abu Tha’labah al-Khushani said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘The jinn are of three types: a types that has wings, and they fly through the air; a type that looks like snakes and dogs; and a type that stops for a rest then resumes its journey.” (Reported by al-Tahhaawi in Mushkil al-Athaar, 4/95, and by al-Tabaraani in al-Kabeer, 22/214. Shaykh al-Albaani said in al-Mishkaat (2/1206, no. 4148): al-Tahhaawi and Abu’l-Shaykh reported it with a saheeh isnaad). The jinn and the sons of Aadam Every individual among the sons of Aadam has a jinn who has been appointed to be his constant companion (qareen). Ibn Mas’ood said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘There is not one of you who does not have a jinn appointed to be his constant companion.’ They said, ‘And you too, O Messenger of Allaah?’ He said, ‘Me too, but Allaah has helped me and he has submitted, so that he only helps me to do good.’” (Reported by Muslim, 2814). Al-Nawawi said in his commentary on Muslim (17/175): “‘He has submitted’ … he became a believing Muslim. This is the apparent meaning. Al-Qaadi said: Know that the ummah is agreed upon the fact that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was protected from Shaytaan, physically and mentally, and with regard to his speech. This hadeeth contains a reference to the warning against the fitnah (temptation, trial) and whispers of the qareen (constant companion from among the jinn). We know that he is with us so we should beware of him as much as possible.” Their powers Allaah has given the jinn powers that he has not given to humans. Allaah has told us about some of their powers, such as the ability to move and travel quickly. Voting Question: Protective Order Violation?

My ex girlfriend and I broke up and she put a protective order on me. after a year we started talking again. started seeing each other even though we were not supposed to... the police caught us together at her house. Neighbors saw my truck.. and called em. anyway i was taken to jail for a day.. she bailed me out... after going to court and her signing that she was okay and wanted me there. all was good... NOW, 6 months later. we are not getting a long. I moved out of town. over 130 miles away. a few days a go she called me at 4 am accusing me of slicing her tires and says she called the police and made a report that I did it... ( she found out that im seeing an old girl friend of hers) I am being blamed for something I didnt do... What now? maybe she is making it up? but what if she really told the police and they believe her? what Now?I forgot to add,, apparently she got one of her cousins and neighbor to say the saw me. I have proof of my where abouts. Im just scared of the whole protective order and the punishments that come with a violation. she is using it ruin me. more

Voting Question: am I wrong about this while situation? please help?

It's long....bear with me. I have had 2 best friends for years now, we are all 17.Welllll we were at her house for a party a few weeks ago and we got into a serious discussion about boyfriends and stuff going on at our houses, just girl talk I guess and she was getting upset and crying and sharing with us personal stuff. Then her mother can in the room and flippppped on my friend and I. I couldn't believe it, her mom never yells but she was swearing saying that she is "So sick of you two b****** manipulating my daughter, you are all just jealous because she is beautiful and has a boyfriend" then storms away.....crazyyyy. So that night I go home and send the mother a facebook message. Very simply stating that I don't know where she got that from and I'm sorry for any misunderstanding. She replies 5 days later and again, flips on me. She said that I am manipulative and a horrible friend and that I need to get over myself. Then she said the worst thing even she said, "There is more to life than a sick mother" my mom has breast cancer; she wasn't even suppose to know that. So I am crying and all upset and I deleted her mother off facebook. Then I go on the next day....allll of my friend's close family and her close friends deleted me for nooo reason. So then I go to my friends wall, who at this point I am still friends with. I see like 10 wall postings from her family saying "sometimes people need to grow up and face reality" and her grandma even saying "honey she needs to shut up and get over herself...she is jealous of you" like HELLO??? it is almost hilarious how ridiculous this drama is, I can't even get over it. I try to call my friend and her mom picks up her phone saying "I have her phone today so people like you dont harass her, dont make me report you" am i crazy here or is her mom like a nutcase? because i don't think i'm wrong.... more
