Open Question: Why are crap artists like Lady gaga and Miley cyrus marketed as family friendly Artists?

Have you seen both of there latest music videos. That's not for kids and parents let them watch Lady gaga and Miley Cyrus and all that. The real question is why are there so many shit artists like Justin Bieber and Lil wayne and Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers and all this new shit that's coming out that has the same lyrics which is about love and partying and relationships and all that same shit when you got real artists out there who lyrics are not about love but about the world problems, and lots of people say that kids don't want to hear that but why is some of the greatest songs ever in the history of music not about love. John Lennon - Imagine, Bob Dylan - Blowin in the wind, Led zeppelin - Stairway to heaven, and so on are classed as some of the greatest songs ever and they are not love songs. Real artists need to be put on the radio like 2pac, system of a down, metallica, johnny cash and okay than some of those artists aren't releasing new music anymore so what about Megedeth who brought out a new album, where there songs on the radio. Oh yeah, parents don't approve of that because they don't think its family friendly so they want artists like Lady gaga who promote sex! more

I heard it about 4 months ago from a friend. A guy is rapping about how his family is messed up and there are some swear words in it. I believe there's something about his aunt dieing of aids or something. I know the youtube music video had him looking in a mirror or something. Voting Question: What song/artist used this music video?

It's a recent track, think it was out earlier this year but could have been late 2009. It's a British artist/group. The song has a modern R+B type feel to it. Video is set in a UK courtroom. The male singer (white) is dressed in a smart suit and singing while standing in the dock. Can't remember the lyrics, but he's singing about a woman. The other people in the room are half dancing, half vogueing. There is a security guard (male, black) that stands out, as his poses are quite funny. A short extract of the track is currently being used by ITV3, to advertise their summer program. That's about all I can remember. Voting Question: Do die hard EMINEM fan's realise they are killing hip hop?

Firstly Im not an EMINEM hater I love most of his music and think he is ONE of the best rappers ever ! However I am a keen listener to underground rap any race or colour. I have come to notice that almost all DIE HARD ermine fans who have no knowledge of rap or hip hop seem to always hate on the underground artist with comments like "Your ripping of EM or you'll never be as good as him quit trying" With this attitude alone hip hop IMO is slowly dying cause no one will let another rapper come up. Its like they are territorial over EM. Em even ad mitts he hated on Lil wayne but then realised he had nothing to hate on and apologised in recovery. Even he doesn't want his fans to do this. How do we stop this before its too late? Again Im not saying all eminem fans but the die hard ones who dont apreciat other peoples music for the lyrics that are actually great tooNOTE - I personally dont like lil wayne but I am using him as an example because eminem realised he shouldnt hate - If his fans are going to realise then it needs to come from him - set an example more

Voting Question: I want to know the name of an alternative indie/dance track played on Q Music TV last night?

I know this is a long shot.... I was watching Q last night and when I flicked over there was this amazing tune on - unfortunately, Q only puts the artist name and title at the beginning of each song, so there was nothing to tell me what it was at the end! It is an experimental song with french lyrics in the chorus and some of the verses. Some of the french lyrics are also written on the screen as part of the video. There are three people in the band; the main singer is a blonde girl wearing massive geeky glasses and a knee-length skirt, then there is a black guy who raps (sounds english/american and wears glasses), and the third member is a white guy who I think just did backing vocals. The genre is difficult to identify - a bit of electronica, indie, and a sped-up DnB bit near the end. The music video was played at around 11/12pm last night on Q TV, just before the new Mark Ronson one. Hope someone can help reunite me with this track!!Thanks Step Out! Hi, this is really bugging me and ive searched on song finders all over the internet but no luck :/ . Im looking for the title and artist name of a song thats briefly in the game "The suffering", about the inmate Torque on deathrow. Anyway, at one point in the game when You're in Dr Killjoys asylum, theres this man called Sergei in the library, and when you finally get his radio to work its playing a song. I remember a little about a song I enjoyed in my teens, it was in the 90's, around the same time that scatman john was in the charts. I cannot be specific as it has a 2 years either way thing (I think). The song was not sung, but spoken from start to finish, The artist was a man in his 40's, portrayed as a school teacher in the video. the lyrics do not contain words about I or me, but is talking about how to live your life. I only remember one word at the end of a verse that he said "Breathe". He was talking about respecting your parents, exercising, appreciating your friends and ending war.
