It is with the greatest regret, on behalf of our Board, that we must announce that Air America Media is ceasing its live programming operations as of this afternoon, and that the Company will file soon under Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code to carry out an orderly winding-down of the business.
The very difficult economic environment has had a significant impact on Air America's business. This past year has seen a "perfect storm" in the media industry generally. National and local advertising revenues have fallen drastically, causing many media companies nationwide to fold or seek bankruptcy protection. From large to small, recent bankruptcies like Citadel Broadcasting and closures like that of the industry's long-time trade publication Radio and Records have signaled that these are very difficult and rapidly changing times.

moreResolved Question: Help me with a business question please?
You are the national sales manager responsible for marketing and selling pasta products for the Olde Italy Pasta Company. While the name implies the firm's products are made in Italy, the actual products are made in Oklahoma. Over the past 12 months your company has experienced declining sales and profits due to lower demand for high-car products.
Now upper management feels something must be done to turn the company around. In fact, the situation is so bad that there have been rumors the firm may be forced to file bankruptcy. The management team has asked you to:
1. Find ways to increase sales.
2. Reduce advertising expenses.
3. Decrease the number of employees in your area from 15 to 12.
Topics for Discussion:
1. Since you are the national sales manager in a company that makes pasta products, how could you improve total sales when a large portion of your customer base is attempting to reduce the amount of high-carb food items they eat?
2. Although you thought your budget was tight in your area (marketing) before the recent downturn in sales and profits, now upper management wants you to reduce advertising expenses. How can you increase advertising effectiveness while cutting back on advertising expenditures?
3. How do you choose the three employees that must be "given the boot"? Do you have any responsibility for "helping" these former employees once the decision is made?
4. How would you tell the employees that their services were no longer needed?
moreResolved Question: I'm disabled, broke, highly intelligent, and need to make a business idea work. How is this possible?
First, I understand that this sound arrogant so let me do this.
Disabled: 20 years paraplegic, walking but not well.
Broke: I have been trying not to take advantage of a system that I have little respect for, but lost my job 4 months ago. Not physically suited to much, and lacking documented education.
Highly intelligent: tested 11 out of 12 years of school to be of higher intelligence than 95 percent of the schools I attended. Special placement for "gifted kids" until I moved to a state my senior year that didn't have such a program.
Here's my question: I have been developing a concept for a website for several years. I have recently found that another company has started something similar but does not exploit the full opportunity available, but they Just got $25M in funding. There is only one competitor to that sight right now doing things slightly differently, but they are off to a slow start, and seem kind of half in. And, there have been 2 other companies that both went broke in earlier days of the internet seemingly doing something similar. The 2 from the past are harder to research but it seems they both spent way too much money on advertising and not enough on the business of the business. How do I protect the idea and find somebody to develope an actual representation of the full site with all of it's intricasies when I don't have any money?
Unfortunately I have never written a business plan and find it rather intimidating, but I can justify and explain every little nuance, from the business, to the backend, to the marketing and the execution. It seems that one of the dead companies may have patented parts of its' process, and this too may be an issue, but phone calls and research thus far all have led to the need to spend money I just don't have. I'm not affraid to share, and I am truly not greedy, but I don't want to let the cat out of the bag to be snatched and made into some foreign meal.
Has anybody out here had experience with situations like this? Can you help? Looking for an investment?
Please allow me to be clear. I don't have the knowledge or experience to create this site myself. I am an idea guy, and am looking to find out how to execute. I don't have 20 years to aquire all the needed knowledge that others already have specialized in, and need to employ / partner with the needed skills to get this done.
Note: I am looking into going back on disability, and filing bankruptcy. Though until 4 months ago I had very good credit, right now that is shot and recovery must be quick or I will be forced to start all over. I would much rather pay my debts and move on with my life with dignity and self-respect if I can find any way to do so.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to what comes of this.
Peace to all.

My former employer of a small business is restructuring under bankruptcy. I know he has created a "sister company" that does the exact same thing and is trying to funnel his old customers to his new company. Using the failing companies advertising dollars to get the new business of the ground seems like stealing from the people he owes money to. There is also a friend of mine still at the old company who relies on that job. I'm not asking you to solve all of life's problems, but it would be nice to know my options...

Please don't send links, etc. I just need a little food for thought. (I'll not get into dollar amounts, the question is to let me think about options).
* Income - my retirement pay. I'm 62 yrs old and applied for Soc. Sec. after which my retirement supplement drops out.
* Outgo - House Pymt, utilities , wife, daughter and 3 grandkids.
I also have a 401K which I can withdraw from.
Since I retired a year ago, I've found that I have to withdraw money from my 401k each month to supplement my retirement/SocSec to pay the bills, etc.
I also have a ton of bills from my wife's medical condition, some already in collection agencies. I can't afford a lawyer; what are my options.
For the moment, forget the medical liabilities. At the present rate, (Income plus 401k withdrawals = expenses) I figure we can last about 2 years before losing our house. Questions:
1) Can or will I have to declare bankruptcy?
2) What does that really mean?
3) Will I lose the house (even if I can keep up pymts)?
4) What about the med bills, collection agencies?
As I said, I can't afford a lawyer and subject web sites are advertising. I just want to know, in general, what does bankruptcy.
I'm reluctant to put dollar figures down but, as a base, my mortgage pymt is 1,000/month. You can project the other figures. We're obviously not rich, wife still ailing and I'm not running the marathon this year either.

moreResolved Question: Could I become really rich by founding a megachurch and selling books?
This is a somewhat serious question - I'm not a religious believer at all, but there is a skating rink near my town which has gone into bankruptcy. According to the architect I consulted, the rink could be converted into a small arena that seats up to 1,800 people, and about 1,000 more if we tear off the roof and add an additional seating deck.
This would be a pretty good venue for a megachurch. It has a decent location near a freeway close to a major metro area.
If I declare myself a nondenominational "pastor" and open up this place with an advertising blitz and lots of "community events" like chaperoned dances and religious-themed film showings, I bet I could attract an instant flock. I'm a very good public speaker; I'd just need to concoct some religious stuff to preach.
My ministry would be very non-doctrinal, and would focus on vague messages of spirituality and unity. My books would contain general life and financial advice with only a slight Christian edge, and most of that would be of the "inspirational" (and not a doctrinal) sort.
I think this is the future of religion in America. People don't like harsh doctrines; they want easy messages of hope. The whole "prosperity gospel" thing feels a bit fake; my gospel would include prosperity but would mostly focus on simple messages of personal inspiration. I've already studied some of the psychology behind this stuff.
Anyhow, should I take the plunge and buy this skating rink, or what? It smells like a good business opportunity to me. Also, what sorts of gospel do YOU think people will want to hear in the future? What kind of ministry would make the most money in the shortest period of time?

moreResolved Question: What really caused the downfall of GM?...Started with "Planned Obsolesce"?
In 1941 the CEO of GM was Alfred Slone. He announced the theory that was the initial downfall of GM...Planned Obsolesce. The theory that one builds an item for a certain lifetime of use then instead fixing it, they just buy another one. This was just all well and fine when cars were not expected to last in excess of 100,000 miles. But then foreign Imports came about and the populous soon learned that the majority of the imports lasted much longer than the GM cars thus giving them a higher resale value and becoming a more valuable commodity. GM never got that one of the essential elements of a viable Planned Obsolesce scheme was that the customer would most probably buy from the same manufacturer if they liked the product. Honda and Toyota all figured the Planned Obsolesce should be around 200,000 miles and designed and manufactured for that. This was a inexpensive way of getting great word of mouth advertising which is the cheapest and most effective means of promoting their product by far.
Nissan and Mitsubishi went along with the American model of 100,000 miles of life and we see where that has got them.
Next, is the raping of GM by the Unions. GM, at it's bankruptcy, had 4 people collecting retirement benefits for every 1 employee. A company can't afford to maintain these levels.
The answers to these situations is clear: The present one taken by the Obama administration is actually quite good. It reduces the maintenance of the health care/retirement packages and ties them to the profitability of the GM in the future by issuing stock.
The original question is still not answered: Will the life span of the new GM vehicles raise to the level of Honda and Toyota or stay at 100,000 miles. My guess is that they will stay with the 100,000 mile theory since it is so popular.
Let's look at the Electronics industry: Why can't one change the battery in an ipod? Planned Obsolescence. The "Fashion" industry...another prime example of P.O.
This idea is being pushed by the advertising industry which has the marketing sections of companies snowballed. First when times are good, you must advertise to keep your market share, when times are bad, you must advertise to stay alive.
Are Americans so stupid that they fall for others telling them what is "in style" in the world? It would seem so.

With healthcare costs continuing to rise, what do you think will become of healthcare in this country? This isnt a question advertising universal healthcare. I love that idea, as I spent some time in Canada (most people dont understand that there the hopsitals are all privately owned and all its just that medical services are paid for by the government and there are not long waits. They are the same as here, but thats all another story) I dont thnk America could run it well. So with healthcare continuing to rise, states reducing benefits to the disabled and all, and medical bills now the numbe one reason for bankruptcy, where do you think we will be in:

2. 10 years
3. 20 years

I mean, if I cant come up with thousands of dollars, Im really f***ed. This country has the best healthcare though. But only if you have the money to pay for it. And only then.Canada actually has a great healthcare. There are low waits, unlike where everyone thinks that omg you have to wait so long there if you need something done. Thats not true. The life expentcy is longer, fewer infant moralities, better chances of surviving cancer if you are being treated in Canada, etc. Its more like soical insurance. The hospitals are all privately owned and doctors are free to quit and go to another. Stop believing this red scare crap about socialized medicine. You cannot in anyway really think with as much as insurance and medical billscost that we have the best healthcare. Tribune Company files for bankruptcy
By Kristina Betinis and Alexander Fangmann
15 December 2008
World Socialist Web Site
On Monday, December 8, the Tribune Company, which employs about 16,000 workers, became the first major news company to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the current economic downturn. The filing, which threatens the jobs, wages and pensions of thousands of workers, allows the company to stop paying interest on its $12.9 billion in debt and enter into debt restructuring negotiations with its creditors. The bankruptcy filing lists the company’s assets at $7.6 billion
The Tribune Company is a media empire comprising the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, the Baltimore Sun, the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, the Orlando Sentinel, at least 6 other daily newspapers, a cable network, a radio station, 24 television stations, several weekly papers, Chicago Magazine, and numerous websites. It also owns the Chicago Cubs and their stadium, Wrigley Field, which are not listed as part of the bankruptcy filing.
At court hearings last Wednesday, the media conglomerate asked a bankruptcy judge for permission to cut employee severance payments and health care benefits. In 1986, the Chicago Tribune smashed a bitter strike by pressmen and other craft unions, replacing 1,000 workers with strikebreakers. Today, the entire conglomerate is mostly non-union.
Many media companies are suffering from dwindling advertising revenue, as well as the loss of readers to the Internet. In another recent sign of the downsizing and consolidation of the industry, the Detroit Free Press, owned by Gannett Co, and its partner, the Detroit News, are planning to end home delivery on all but the most lucrative days, which are Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The most direct cause of the Tribune Company’s bankruptcy, however, is the company’s staggering level of debt. Several large media companies, including Media General and Gannett, face enormous debt payments and may soon find themselves in a similar situation.
Last year’s privatization of the Tribune Company bears the marks of leveraged debt financing characteristic of the recent climate of rampant speculation.
In December 2007, billionaire real estate mogul Samuel Zell, nicknamed the “Grave Dancer” for his history of buying distressed or undervalued businesses, completed the transaction to take the Tribune Company private. He was estimated by Forbes in 2008 to be the 68th richest American. Zell, the Tribune Company’s chairman and CEO, pursued a heavily leveraged buyout of the company which was widely characterized as extremely risky and indicative of the irresponsible investments leading up to the recent crisis. The Wall Street Journal reports that “no one thought the buyout of Tribune Co. would work—and it didn’t.”
Ruthlessness typifies Zell’s approach. Speaking on the mortgage crisis at the Milken Institute Global Conference in April, Zell was quoted as saying, “This country needs a cleansing. We need to clean out all those people who never should have bought in the first place, and not give them sympathy.”
Zell maintained he could make the Tribune Company deal profitable through a combination of asset sales and reorganization to take place under the new management team, which had little or no experience in the newspaper industry. Senior executives knew that bankruptcy would likely be filed soon, in an effort to protect investments.
While Zell invested $315m of personal equity, with substantial risk mitigated by tax breaks, debt was piled on to the company in the acquisition process. By the time of its completion, Zell’s deal had saddled the Tribune Company with $11.2 billion in debt.
Most of the risk for the Tribune Company’s enormous debt was pushed onto the newly-created Employee Stock Ownership Program, which purchased $250 million worth of newly issued stocks upon being established in 2007. These schemes, promoted by the union bureaucracy to “save” failing companies, while securing the interests of big investors, have produced nothing but disaster for workers. This was the case at United Air Lines, McLouth Steel and other companies where workers lost their pensions, wages and life savings when the so-called worker-owned companies collapsed.
The Tribune ESOP, as the majority shareholder, assumed most of the risk for the debts. Those employee shareholders are also at the end of the line of creditors in the bankruptcy proceedings. Speaking to the Chicago Tribune, Zell admitted it was likely that the employee stock owners could have their holdings wiped out. The Chicago Tribune reported that Tribune Company “will halt all severance payments, deferred compensation and other payments to former employees, who will be required to file a claim with the bankruptcy court.”
The executive director of the National Center for Employee Ownership published an analysis of the Tribune Company’s ESOP in 2007 which included the following:The executive director of the National Center for Employee Ownership published an analysis of the Tribune Company’s ESOP in 2007 which included the following: “In the Tribune case, the ESOP will borrow money from the company. Regardless of how the plan acquires stock, company contributions to the trust are tax-deductible, within certain limits. So in this case, the company is able to use the ESOP to borrow money and repay it in pretax dollars, deducting both principal and interest. This is one of the key tax benefits that the many articles on this transaction are referencing.”
In this case, as in other cases, an ESOP was established as part of the privatization to provide tax advantages and risk protection to Zell and company, rather than provide security for employees through ownership stakes, which clearly confirms the predatory nature of the Zell acquisition.n the first eight months after the Zell acquisition of the Tribune Company, more than 900 Chicago Tribune jobs were eliminated. Compounding the instability posed by the risky acquisition, the Tribune Company continued to see its advertising revenue fall sharply. In an effort to cut costs, the Chicago Tribune introduced a smaller, reformatted paper in September of this year, composed of fifty percent advertisements and fifty percent graphics-intensive reporting. The cost cuts were achieved by reducing news content and the staff required to produce it, which could be printed on fewer pages. By August 2008, increased layoffs, employee buyouts, and other cost-cutting measures failed to reverse the company’s decline.http://www.wsws.org/articles/2008/dec2008/trib-d15.shtmlJim,
Workers everywhere are taking it on the chin through no fault of their own. The capitalist is nothing but a leech on the working class. Capitalism is class warfare. The capitalist gets richer and richer as labor works harder and harder for less and less, as his benefits are slashed and his job "offshored" to cheap labor locations.
If you had read this article, Zell's recklessness lies at the foundation of ruin for the employees of Tribune Co.
"The ongoing debate over the auto bailout has demonstrated the conspiracy of the automakers, the two big business parties and the UAW against the autoworkers. All insist that workers must pay for a crisis that they did not cause, in order to restore the auto companies to profitability so they can once again be a lucrative source of income for corporate executives and big investors who are responsible for the financial catastrophe."

also i have a bmw 325i that i paid down for 1500 and has not made a payment since for 2 months. i know its going to get repo-ed sooner or later. but i have another car i put in my mom's name that's paid for. so im fine.
i have no income as of now for a year now. (i don't think they cann track the website payment as i never file tax on it) and im 23. will i be qualify to wipe my slate clean?
moreResolved Question: How hard would it be to start a solo bankruptcy practice straight out of law school?
Also, a wealthy relative has agreed to pay the rent for both my house and my office, as well as office supplies and advertising for a full year. So it's not as if I need to make THAT much the first year.
Is this the kind of think that I could figure out with form books and software or should I work in a firm first? Also, could I mainly do Chapter 7's or do I really need to do all kinds to stay afloat? I'm licensed in Mississippi if that helps. My diction looks fine to me. Also, it's a little ironic to have my diction criticized by someone who can't even spell realize correctly.
moreResolved Question: Do you know of a FREE trusted credit counseling organization to help lessen burden of debt?
I am $25,000 in debt from 3 different high interest credit cards coupled with being dumb and naive when I got them in my teens. I am 29 now, a single mom living in California, in the poverty income level without any assets. I don't use the cards anymore but I still pay the min. balance on time--I just want the debt gone and wouldn't be too proud about filing bankruptcy. I heard I should I get the debt consolidated but how the heck do I go about doing that? I'm not too clear about how that works and there are so many gimmicks and 1-800 #s advertised that I don't know where to go. I live in California-- specifically in San Bernadino County if that helps.

moreResolved Question: Question about financial matter?
I have two vehicles and two car notes because I signed for a loan for what is now an ex-fiance and she decided she didn't want the payment or the car anymore. I'm unable to maintain both cars and payments (been doing it since June 07) along with my credit card debt (which is under $5000 but still a monthly expense) and other expenses without going broke on payday and not sure what to do. Should I do a voluntary repossession on one of the cars, file bankruptcy, or another option? I've tried advertising both cars for sale but no luck because of the money I need to pay off the car loans. Not sure what to do, but I don't think it's worth a bankruptcy because I don't have that much debt outside of the two cars. Any advice??I should add. I'm not trying to get out of paying anything, but money for food would be a nice luxury ;-)
moreResolved Question: Doe anyone know if most payday loans advertised online connected together?
I have a friend that stated that she applied for a payday loan online and a company she delt with a long time ago got her information and went into her account and took money after she had put them in her bankruptcy. She said that she spoke with someone at the company she applied with and then found out that the same person worked for yet another company in a call center. Is this right, does one company own all of them and can put you in a trick bag getting your infomation from a new company you apply with and then getting into your bank account because yo owe them money when leagally she filed bankruptcy.
moreResolved Question: Law & Ethics why do conservatives hate lawyers that put loophole fine print in their contracts but love the ??
home loan sharks that are putting people into bankruptcy and foreclosing on their homes for the same reason? and do you think its a good idea that congress make it a law that we can sue them for false advertising and deceptive fine print?no correct answer yet!some people cant read i guess!!!!! why do you hate lawyers for loophole fine print?!!?!?!?My Dad always told me, " The best revenge is to be happy."
Take the High road here and walk away.
These are NOT how real friends behave or treat each other.
There's another saying," If you're being abused, you must be agreeing with the treatment."
Friends are a lot like life--some are for a little while, and some for a few days or weeks or months, and a very few--for life.
Find people to hang out who approve of you JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.
That's the best answer I can give. good luck.

I have an advertising agreement with a realtor who did not pay most of his bill and gave us knowingly false promises to pay in emails, on the phone, and shaking our hand in person. Now, we've sued him in court. He claims he's filing bankruptcy, even though he promised payment one week before we filed... seems like a quick turnaround to be suddenly filing bankrupcty. The reality is, as to date, he has yet to file. What are the ethics rules for realtors dealing with the public in non-real estate transactions?I am aware I need to file a discplinary complaint; what I'm asking is if it will stick, and why.
moreResolved Question: Are divorce law and bankruptcy law lucrative fields?
I have heard that some some lawyers have made very good money in divorce law and/or bankruptcy law. They will advertise that they will "do" a divorce or bankruptcy for a few hundred dollars and then many people will call in for their services. I have also heard that divorces and bankruptcies are usually not too complicated. Any information would be great - I may be very misinformed.
moreResolved Question: 341 Meeting for Bankruptcy, Glad its over but my trustee was an ass. Gave instructions but I need help (ProSe)
I had my 341 meeting today and Im so glad that this is over with. My trustee was a local bankruptcy attorney that advertises WAY too much and my neighboorhood, and he kida looks like skeletor.
Anyways he was particullary found of me since I filed bankruptcy ProSe(By Myself) I had a few tiny problems and he wouldnt be specific on how to fix these problems and am hoping someone can help me and tell me what I have to do
#1 I had lost my wallet a few months ago it had my social security card and everything in it. I went to the SSA builing and filed a replacement card application. I had told the lady at the counter I have a meeting coming up where I need to show proof of my social. She told me " This reciept is all you need to show" I did and the trustee rejected it. I have to get him something with my social
#2 I was told before the 341 meeting that I needed to drop off paperwork to his office. I needed to drop off my bank statements, Paystubs, Income Tax Returns. (SEE MORE BELOW)And a copy of my Petition. I had a copy of my petition saved on a CD and I had thought that the State Bankruptcy office would have given him a copy. But just to be safe I had printed out a copy of the original petition and handed to his office. He cocked an attitude on me again saying," How am I suppose to verify your signature" i had told all my signatures was on the original and this was a duplicate. I dont remeber him saying anything else needed on this end. But just to be safe
#3 On My list of assets he said I have to amend my return to say the details of my car which Im claiming an exemption on. I wrote "debtors Personal Vehicle" but he wqants I think the make year model etc. And also I claimed my checking account as an assett which only had a hundred and he says I need to put an exemption on that. He wants me to amend schedule C i think it was
He ended it by saying quote"DO NOT CALL MY OFFICE FOR ADVICE ON HOW TO FIX THIS" (SEE MORE)I remember him saying I had till the 28th two weeks from now. Do I just have to get all my paperwork together and can I mail it to his office or something else? I'm really in the dark and wish I had hired an attorney. PLEASE no smart ass remarks about ohhh you should have gotten an attorney. If I could have afforded the fees I would have. Thanks

Interviewing candidates for a position within company is one of the final steps in the hiring process. Below is a list of the steps involved in the hiring process. After they completed the interviewing process, there are still two additional key steps that have to complete. In order to achieve the best hiring results possible.

More people are connected these days on the internet and it is a very good source of information and also advertising on internet much quick than any other advertising places because it gives business great advantages, efficient so can find right staff for the right job.

The Short listing may be conducted by a sub group of the panel and generally will involve the Chair and the Human Resource Professional if included on the panel. It may also involve other members of the selection panel as determined by the Chair. For Example, if 100 people apply for a job and there is only one position to be filled. The employer may make a list of the top five or so people to re-interview.
Interview process & telephone interview
The same person will interview and make decisions about hiring. But if they’re group interview then main person can make decision during the interview. There may be a series of interviews, and the hiring decision can be made by someone who's never interviewed the candidate before. There can be a phone interview round before any in-person interviews, there can be just a phone interview, and there can be just in-person endless variations. Each company does what fits them best. Some organization have different interview process.
Phone interviews give the company a chance to get a feel for new employee’s skill-set, interests, desired compensation etc., and see if there is a match between their needs and employee’s strengths. If there is enough common ground, then the phone interviews are almost always followed-up by an in-person interview. Phone interviews are generally conducted in two steps. The first step is with a recruiter in Human Resources. The second step is a technical interview, usually with one of the people would be working with. Technical phone interviews are conducted for people living outside the geographical region. This is done because the company wants to have some level of confidence in technical abilities before they decided to hire them.
Reference check
Do employment check how person performed in previous job as well as to verify they’re making sure not lying on job application.
I personally think this can vary from company to company, but sometimes
the interview process in larger companies are administered through their human resources department or the direct hiring manager.
From there the company can decide what type of interview process they need to screen acceptable candidates. This can include a 2nd or 3rd interview or even a testing process, for example, a computer test.
When a person is found that fits the position say by management or human resources then they will make an offer.
Final Step
After review of all applicant’s application, each candidate will receive letter or email regard if they had been offered position or not. Depending on qualifications, skills, experience they have to fit the role.I mean where does these references place in essay.
moreResolved Question: Can you repair your own bad credit?
I have recently researched information on repairing bad credit after bankruptcy, etc. It appears that items, whether true or false can legally be disputed from yourself as frequent as every 30 days. And, unless the credit bureau agencies can provide valid proof (from the original creditors) within a 30 day period, they must remove the derogatory credit from your file. Although it can take 2 - 3 times of writing dispute letters to actually get a response, this seems very interesting. It also appears that the FCRA is really in the consumers favor, but not really advertised to us because the 3 major bureaus profit from our credit history. Any experience/advice on someone cleaning up their own bad credit (not through credit repair scams)?

If I can't afford to pay my current mortgage anyway, how am I to save it? I have no disposable income for a chpt.13 filing which is the one to file to save your house, is it safe to assume that a chpt.7 will dely my foreclosure long enough to possibly sell it?
moreResolved Question: My daughter recently filed bankruptcy. they need to refinance before they lose everything. HELP?
They filed last October or November. She was off work due to an illness for about 2 months. This put them far behind on their house payments and their car payments. They want to pay everything but they would love to either consolidate, or have a credit counseling company call all of their creditors and make arrangments for payments through them to pay the bills. She had called one comapny that advertised that they would do this and they would make one monthly payment to THIS company. When they called the number the counselors gave them, they said that they do NOT lend out money. They knew this but the lady was not very nice and not very helpful. They need help and they need it now. Also, they have a 5 year old sone andare pregnant with twins and due in October. Losing their house and cars would not be good.
