Alcohol and Propaganda is not a Match According to FAS, “alcohol is to be blamed for 100,000 deaths each year.” Alcohol has become a dependent source for teens and many adults. Drinking effects mind processes and the human body awfully. The use of these advertisements is a major source for the public to take alcohol as a positive consuming product. Alcohol should be banned from the internet, television, and print advertisements because these campaigns promote a substance that causes awful health issues and death, and financial issues. It is true, alcohol campaigns are being displayed throughout America and both adolescents and adults nationwide are being introduced to alcohol, a harmful substance when misused, through these advertisements. For everyone, the body has either very little or zero tolerance to alcohol. When alcohol is overused, the mind loses its ability to make good quality decisions and the organs of the human body get wounded. This can result in many bodily illnesses, diseased, and perhaps cancer that all can cause death and a miserable life. The inability to make good quality decisions can also cause many troubles ranging from the inability to maintain a relationship to being the cause of a car collision from driving under the influence. Furthermore, the use of these commercials is also advertising a substance that can cause a financial crisis. Alcohol becomes addictive to many people because it brings the mind to a relaxed state temporarily relieving stress, anxiety, and more. Overtime, as more alcohol is being consumed by the human body, the human body is building tolerance to the alcohol. When the body is building tolerance to the alcohol, the body is required to have more alcohol in order to enter the relaxed state that had been previously experience and in order to consume more alcohol, more money will need to be thrown away. This will result in a financial loss and can cause a financial crisis which can cause anything from having again, a difficulty time maintaining a relationship to having to get rid of any possessions one may have. In the final analysis, Alcohol should be banned from all advertisements because they promote a substance that can cause awful consequences including health problems, death, and financial issues. The fact that these advertisements have persuaded many to consume alcohol clearly shows that these advertisements have a part in the cause of many deaths, health issues, and financial issues. Should advertisement companies promoting detrimental products be allowed to advertise? Would one want to be in charge of choosing whether or not he can save millions of lives and choose not to? moreResolved Question: Is this lottery contest from my local car store real?

I had a baby in November 2009. Since my boyfriend got his W-2 before me (in January), we decided to let him claim our son and have H&R Block do his taxes so we could get a RAPID refund. The preparer didn't know what he was doing. He ended up opting him out of the Earned Income Credit (without asking), typing in 2 months for the amount of time our son was "living in the home" for 2009 and accidentally checked 'yes' for the question "Did this person make more than $3500 in 2009?". When he was all finished he told us my boyfriend's refund would be about 900 dollars. I thought something was wrong, but didn't say anything and took his word for it. We paid for the rapid loan and we were expecting to get the money on our card within 2 days. I told my mother, who has been doing my taxes for years and never made a single mistake, and she pointed out that we were, in fact, supposed to get the EIC and Child Tax Credit. She got online and printed out the Publication from the IRS's website stating that if a child was born in 2009, you put 12 months, regardless of what month they were born in. They called my boyfriend 6 days later and told him there was a hold on the card and he had to come back up there to sign a paper to take the money off hold. We went back up there and showed them the mistake they made and ask that they amend them. The manager fixed it and gave us the forms to mail out and we asked if we still had to pay the fee they charged us to do this. He stated that we still have to pay the fee because that money is going to them for filing it originally. Yet H&R Block has the "Maximum Refund Guarantee" which states that if they don't give you your maximum refund you're entitled to, the tax preparation is free. We called the headquarters and even they are refusing to give us the money back. We mailed off the amended form and we are STILL waiting to get the check in the mail. We really needed that money to get our air conditioning fixed in our only car, not to mention we have a 6 month old and its 80 degrees outside in Virginia Beach right now. My question is should I take them to court? Why should we have to pay them for something THEY screwed up? I'm really not trying to make a big deal out of this, but this is just ridiculous and not fair. In my eyes, its false advertising for them to make a promise and not live up to it. moreVoting Question: Do you need a commercial license to put a advertisement on your car?
I have a magnet on my car advertising my business website (www.littlelillylove.com) its just a small car magnet that vista print offers for free. But someone just told me that they got a ticket for having a comcast sticker on there car (they are contracted in a pyramid type business to sell comcast) without a Commercial license. I purchased a 2004 Santa Fe from a used car lot. When I bought it, I believed it was an LX trim, with a 3.5 liter engine... as per the online ad on their website and on auto trader. However, I found out after purchasing it that it is the GLS Trim model, with a 2.7 liter engine. On kelly blue book the difference in value between the vehicles is: the GLS model is worth roughly 10% less than the model I thought I was purchasing. Now, the bill of sale does not list a trim. Just the make and model. However, I have a print out of both adverts, both with a picture of the car I bought, stating the 'false' specs. Is this enough to prove false advertising? I would ask for my money back, but I spent $75 registering the vehicle and $275 buying tires for it. I would need to be reimbursed for those costs should he offer a return. Otherwise I want roughly 10% rebate on the price a paid for the vehicle. Is this an acceptable demand? What would you do? moreResolved Question: Am I heading into copyright infringement issues with my blog concept of using advertising material?
Please I need help with another of these copyright infringement issues with the use of images in blogs. I wish I could make up my own mind, only the more I read about it, the more I am confused. Not to mention I am bias of course. I have in mind to create a blog where I would use vintage advertising prints from a very specific industry to illustrate (keyword here?!) my posts. The themes of the posts will not be in any way focusing on the brands. The goal will not be to bash that industry, even though it is a controversial one. Yet these ads, through their pop culture and aesthetic value, would undoubtedly be central to the (potential) success of my blog. Ex: for a post on the concept of peak oil, I would have a copy of a 1953 ad for brand X featuring a guy whose car broke down and another one of brand Y featuring oil rig workers. Note: I am not, in any way, discussing brand X or Y. But in all honesty some posts may refer to the specific image at hand, for example, for satirical purposes, or to discuss graphic design issues. Some other details you may want to take into consideration: - some of these brands are still in business, others not. - this blog may be monetize in the future, depending on the audience it attracts. - I don't think I would want to spend the time begging for written permissions. Bottom line, am I safe (and the fair use doctrine is giving me some hope) or am I walking on very, very thin ice and heading into trouble? Would blurring the brands, even though I would rather not, help in any way? Thanks in advance for all answers, both short ones and long ones. moreResolved Question: I need to find the Hyundai commercial that shows a teen playing grand theft auto?

seriously. it seems that all magazines do now, is print rubbish about celebrities doing possibly the most dull and mundane things ever. you people who read this "celebrity gossip" have more eventful lives. why do people care which celebrity was caught walking from their car or drinking coffee. why do these photos make so much money. people in poor countries are starving every day (and ive seen poverty first hand) and nobody wants to see the images of it, is it too real? (maybe its much easier for people to turn the other way and read DOLLY magazine instead and go out and buy what the media has told them to buy, and like what the media wants them to like. Hello! Our class was asked this question today about cigarettes. In USA and Europe Advertising and Promoting of any brand of cigarette is banned. You cannot Advertise on Television and through any print media or Electronic media in USA and Europe. Even the shopkeepers are not allowed to display the cigarette Brands or use any posters. So how does these companies promote or advertise their product in USA and Europe. For example, Marlboro cigarettes have the top cigarette business in the world. They used to advertise on Formula 1 cars and Moto races. But now it is banned too. So what strategy they use now? How does these brands Attract customers to smoke their cigarettes. How they attract new customers? My first Question on Yahoo! Answers. I am asking because i am not American or European and never visited them. So i have no idea how do they promote or advertise there. Please help me solve this. Thanks, AliLets say I am Dunhill brand and i also make Perfumes that are so popular. Smokers who like Dunhill perfume might also like my cigarettes. But what about Marlboro, L & M and those other brands competing in the market? they cannot invest this much for side projects except cigarettes. FYI the actors are banned to smoke in front of the screens and they have also banned Cartoons to advertise Cigarettes. There are so much Anti-Smoking campains in USA and our only hint was that the answer is related to Anti-Smoking Campaigns. I don't know how these companies Advertise or promote their Brands. moreResolved Question: I'm 13 years old and I want to start a bussiness...?
My friend and I really want to earn money to save up on things we really like. I am a a fairly good artist, and I always wanted to create a comic book series. I need a certain software and tools for that. I also want to save money for college, or maybe a future car. My family can't get all that, so my friend and I decided to start a business! Today, we brainstormed a lot of ideas and we both realized that we had good gardening skills. So we wanted to do yard service. A few hours later, I found out that it can be difficult to maintain a business, and I was worried that people won't take us seriously. Besides, I'm a short person, so people might think I'm a clueless kid. I want to be a businesswoman when I grow up, and I want to look back at this when I'm 30 and knowing that I was a serious, hardworking girl. I would also know that this is where I started, and I can look at my successful business in the future. My problem is, I don't know the right way to advertise, how much money I should charge, how to deal with stingy people, how to make this all work! I'm also having trouble on what we should name our business. We both have different names and if I try to combine them, it will look like a mutant heap of letters. Of course, I'm not going to call this "Amanda's Yard Service" (My names Amanda) because what about Izzy, my friend? As for advertising, should we print out fliers and put them in every mailbox in our neighborhood? We don't have colored ink! Or should we advertise in a different way? Oh, and our yard service offers lawn mowing, weed pulling, grass and bush trimming, plant watering, and everything that your yard would want! We have all the tools we need for this, and we love nature so it would be nice to care for it. We are thinking about charging two dollars to mow a small lawn and three dollars to mow a big lawn. We want our prices to be cheap because that will attract customers, and the economy isn't doing well (at least that's what the president says, I'm not very fond with economy) and since we're just young teens, people aren't gonna pay thirty bucks per lawn. And how do I deal with stingy and rude people? I'm really stressed about this and I need to know the ins and outs and pros and cons of what I'm about to endure. I'm hardworking, determined, skilled, creative, and my friend is to. So if you don't feel like writing much, then just give me a useful website in which I can refer to. (Not the ones with popping, flashing, ads and/or outdated and bad info.) I will take the time to read all of your answers! Please, please. I am in desperate need of help! I really appreciate those of you who took the time to acknowledge my question and hand me a great answer. PS: Even after we get enough money for what we need, my friend says that she doesn't want to do it anymore after wards. But I think that we should keep on doing the business, as it will be educational and we can save up for more money to get more things. How do I convince her to do this? And also, for example, if someone wanted us to do their lawn for two dollars, should we include that they pay us each? As in, they pay me two dollars and Izzy two dollars, so instead, they actually pay four dollars? Or should it be that they pay us two dollars and we split the profit and each of us have one dollar? Do you agree with our pricing? Do you think we should reduce it or increase it? Oh, and our pricing should be an even number so we can split the money. Please, I really want to know! Thank You! :) moreResolved Question: I put a goarmy.com bumper sticker on my car on 9-15-09, and this morning my tires were slashed, window smash?

We put $100 down to buy a used Prius from a Toyota dealer. They told us the price was about $23,000, but we recalled seeing a different price. We went home and printed the Internet special we had seen, for about $16,800, and asked for that price. They said they would honor the Internet price. They also said there is a problem with the title of the car, and have not made the car available. It has been almost three weeks, as we put the money down on Aug. 15. Today, Sept. 3, 2009, we looked at the site and saw the car is advertised at about $21,000. The salesperson keeps returning our calls and promising the car would be ours at the Internet price, but he never keeps his promises to get back to us with an estimated time frame. Last week when we spoke he said something about a lien. We suspect they are stalling us to try to get us to pull out of the deal. Years ago, I used to write customized programs for small businesses. I would embed code within the program that said, "If date equal dah-dee-dah then end program" This way I could be assured of getting paid and they could not pay if they did not like the program. Good deal for all involved parties. When doing computer repair (i.e. optimization, crash recovery, installing new hardware etc.) or anything else (like selling advertising) I might be left holding the bag after paying the printing and design costs. Now I collect upfront or no ad. I went under after accepting printing ads for big restaurant chains (I knew they were not going to stiff me). I had no idea that many of them were more than willing to pay late fees so they could stick with their own alloted times (sometimes quarterly) to pay their accounts payable. I was rich in accounts receivable with no gas in my car!!! Not a smart move on my part. Question: Is there some legal precedent that states, as a matter of protocol or even de facto who should pay first - the party buying the service or the person receiving the service. While typing this it crossed my mind that we usually pay for products upfront and we pay for services like hedge trimming after we see the job has been completed to our satisfaction. but many "services" involve buying a product (the parts or supplies) needed for providing the service. But this whole thing begs the question - what is or or what are the legal guidelines, if any, for who should pay first? I'm watching one of the judge shows and the judge says it is a mistake to pay a contractor upfront. I would say it is unwise for the contractor to do "it" upfront and possibly take a hit if he/she gets stiffed. Hence my question - who should pay first?V.B. - I noticed you left out Microsoft. I am afraid to do anything that prompts me for my code because they HAVE disabled my pc and I had a legitimate copy. those guys are crazy!! I guess because they do warn us, huh? A local honda dealer had a 2009 honda civic advertised on their website for $195....yes, i said $195. I printed out the website details, pics of the car, and all details. My question is, by law, does this dealer have to honor that price??? I know someone made a mistake, but it was posted on their website!!! It started with a simple water balloon, escalated to water guns at 2 am, then moved on to saran wrapping a car, covering a car in post it notes and other accessories, turning a car into a bubble machine, printing up a flier advertising a fake lawn service, and (in the rain) toilet papering a car...basically mummifying it....we want things to remain safe, and basically legal. No person is to get seriously hurt!! moreResolved Question: Was I taken advantage of? Work question? What do I do?
Recently I became unemployed and got a job for an advertising firm. I booked appointments over the phone cold calling. However, I only got one sale and my boss thought it would be a good idea to take away my promised base pay because then I'd be more determined to get a sale. She said she would pay for the days i worked w/the guaranteed base. I had to wait 3 days for the check so I went to meetings and was doing print shops. I realized I was wasting time and most ppl. quit by the 2nd day. So on the one of the days I was working for free, I went to a print shop and the owner explained he lost a lot of accounts because of the economy and was really nice. He gave me props for doing the "hardest job" which is selling. I couldn't convince him enough to buy something he couldn't afford at the time even though he wasted my time of driving there. It was hard because my boss did not want me leaving the meeting without closing the deal and if I couldn't convince him of this wonderful service, I would have to use my own cell phone and get her on the phone with him. Sorry this is so long. Well I was quitting anyway right so he told me he wanted to give me memo pads. (5 wrapped up in plastic with his business card on it) It was a way that he got business by having college students/retirees drop them off at businesses around towns. For example, if they need business cards, menus, promotion flyers they remember to call him because of all the memo pads with his name on it. Well I agreed and he put 2 boxes in my car. He explained that he would give me $25 a box. As I was leaving he said, "Yeah if you want to say 8 boxes, I can give you $100." I ignored it and acted like I didn't hear it. So I left the scam job of selling advertising and yesterday I went to 5 different towns and walked up and down the block handing them all out to local businesses. I called him and let him know that I was ready to be paid and he said he would have my money and a couple more boxes. Now I'm 23, I went to college. I suppose I am doing crazier things then I would normally do because of this economy. I went to get paid and he wasn't there. His wife was. She was like, "oh theres 2 boxes outside for you" (there really heavy-no help nothing. I mean it would of been nice. There is 50 per box) Anyway, I was nice and polite and thanked her when I got the envelope with my $50. I opened it up and there was only $25. Obviously this was not a mess up. He changed the price on me! So I told my mom about it and she told me to call him and tell him, that I got paid wrong and where is my money? She said if he pulls something like, Oh you misunderstood. Then tell him to come here and pick the boxes up. I mean he was a "nice guy" but I feel taken advantage of. I did it for 3 hours and used $10 of gas going from town to town. Thats like $5 an hour. I made more money in h.s. cleaning tables. No lie. So what should I do? Do you think this is wrong? I guess I should not have bothered to get involved. ****Oh and the best part is the wife told me that they had several calls from all these local businesses. So me being cute dressed up and smiling as I walked in to all these potential business clients for him worked! How rude? Don't ya think? Oh and he is 25 miles from my house so I am getting his name out where no one has even heard of him in my area. moreResolved Question: Car buying: Money down required?
I've never financed through a car dealership before, always my credit union. However, I may be able to get a longer term with dealer financing. Is dealer financing any good? Will they expect me to put money down, I never do with my credit union loans. My credit score is above average. I mean, I've seen commercials for cars where they say for example $199 a month! Then the fine print says after $2,500 down payment. I can't tell if the down payment is a requirement, or just a way for them to advertise the low monthly rate. moreResolved Question: Is this a dealer SCAM? Anyone try it?

Tapscott's Copy Desk - Obama Is In Trouble POSTED March 6, 2009 | 5:13 PM Did you feel it? The political ground shifting beneath President Barack Obama since his speech last week to Congress? It's been downhill since and I'm not referring mainly to the Dow Jones record-setting dive. The pivot point of the shift was the speech, or rather what the speech did to the evolving public narrative of Obama. Let's review: * Since the first of the year, Rush Limbaugh's audience has exploded , according to Howard Kurtz of The Washington Post, even as his daily assaults on Obama have intensified. The conservative Talk Radio maestro has become quite possibly the most listened-to radio personality in America since before Paul Harvey (God rest his soul). Demand for his air time hs suddenly become so intense, Limbaugh told The Examiner's Byron York earlier today, that his network sold 80 percent as much advertising in January 2009 as it did in all of 2008, and expects to sell-out the year by the end of March. That was before Obama and White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel launched an explicit counter-attack against Limbaugh that seems only to be making him bigger. * Glenn Beck's eminently forgettable presence on CNN has been transformed, according to The Los Angeles Times, by his move to Fox News where his main theme has been variations on this question - Wake Up! Wake UP! What in Heaven's name does Barack Obama think he is doing to America? Beck has a tough time slot from which to win big ratings because he's in the middle of evening drive-time. Even so, in a very short period of time at Fox, his audience has grown to the point that it is now exceeded only by those of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity. * Obama remains personally popular with the public, but worries and even outright opposition to some of his cornerstone proposals are growing. Democrats in Congress are even beginning to express in public print their worries that Obama has reached too far with the $787 billion economic stimulus package, the $410 billion omnibus spending bill and the $3.6 trillion budget proposal (and the trillions more senior aides whisper are coming in further bailouts, loan guarantees, "tax cuts" that are really just grants, and other spending accountrements of Leviathan Unleashed.) * Paralleling these developments, a potentially devastatng conservative case against Obama is coming together rapidly. Two influential columns this week tell the tale: On Thursday, Daniel Henninger offers this crucial observation in a WSJ piece otherwise devoted to asking why Republicans aren't more eagerly and quickly taking advantage of the fact the Obama Democrats have all but declared war on the 75 percent of the U.S. economy that is private and therefore productive of the nation's wealth: "Beyond the stock market, there is a reason why, despite much goodwill toward his presidency, the Obama response to the faltering economy has left many feeling undone. There isn't much in his plan to stir the national soul. It's about 'sacrifice' now so that we can live for a future of small electric cars and windmills. This may move the Democratic Party's faith communities, but it cannot revive a great nation. If the Democrats want to embrace market failure as a basis for their ideology, let them have it. As politics, it's a downer." The second column appeared today in The Washington Post and was written by Charles Krauthammer. Obama's mastery of public speaking has heretofore served to deflect attention away from the details of what he is actually proposing. And there is in those details, according to Krauthammer, a fundamental deception: Obama summons visions of catastrophe that are the result of too little government regulation of the financial markets and he offers as a solution vastly more government regulation of .... health care, energy and education. "The 'day of reckoning' has now arrived. And because 'it is only by understanding how we arrived at this moment that we'll be able to lift ourselves out of this predicament,' Obama has come to redeem us with his far-seeing program of universal, heavily nationalized health care; a cap-and-trade tax on energy; and a major federalization of education with universal access to college as the goal. "Amazing. As an explanation of our current economic difficulties, this is total fantasy. As a cure for rapidly growing joblessness, a massive destruction of wealth, a deepening worldwide recession, this is perhaps the greatest non sequitur ever foisted upon the American people," Krauthammer said. In other words, Krauthammer said, Obama tries to have it both ways, with the alleged errors of deregulation being compounded into the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression by America's failure to nationalize health care, shift our economy to alternative energy sources and give everybody a free pass to college. Obama is trying to make the cause and the cure synonymous. "Clever politics, but intellectually dish moreResolved Question: Do my hobbies & interests make me a sound like a smart person?

our theme for the campaign is romeo and juliet...and ive been drawing some examples of print ads. right now i have one of a man jumping over a stone wall in order to get to the car behind it and underneath it says "for stony limits cannot hold love out" and the other shows a man near her window and the alfa romeo is parked in the driveway and the headlights are shining through the window. this one says "what light through yonder window breaks?" anyways im trying to keep the same format for all the ads, but now im trying to think of one for the quote "tempt not a desperate man" where i wanna have maybe a scratch on the car, and the guy going insane, but what can the man be doing exactly that would fit the quote. The other is "has my heart loved til now?" or "for i never saw true beauty until this night" what can i use for one of those? if you guys can think of any others let me know! thanks moreVoting Question: car advertised for low price law ethics?
i see a car $16k under blue book @ a reputable dealership. i give them a call, they have no idea what im talking about, insisting it is marked much higher than advertised...its regular price on their website but its clearly printed in the ad in the newspaper. the guy gives me a call back, talking nicely and quickly that he sees no price marked that low and explains he's been in the business a long time a mistakes are made. he draws what should be a easy conversation out to obscene lengths, which made me think...aren't they legally obligated to sell the vehicle at a price advertised? http://www.metnews.com/articles/dono0731.htm ^this mirrors the situation, and the dealership won? moreResolved Question: Car declared SORN - how can I tax it again?
I took my car off the road a few weeks ago and declared it SORN as I did not know how long it would be off the road for. I have found a buyer for it though, and have told her that I will get it taxed for her to collect. As I am still the registered keeper & have the M.O.T. certificate etc, can I just go ahead to the post office and tax it using a form that can be printed off online? Will that then eliminate the SORN declaration? or is it more complicated? Also, the brakes on the car are quite soft - it can be driven, but I'm not sure if the buyer has read the ad properly. I sold it on e-bay and the car was advertised for "spares or repair" and it was clearly stated that the brakes need bled. I drove it like this, and it is legal, but the brakes are quite a bit softer than they were previously. The buyer is travelling around 80 miles to pick the car up and I don't want her to think that I am trying to pull a fast one as I feel that I have advertised it fairly and have noted any imperfections in the vehicle. Should I re-iterate to her before collection that the brakes are a bit soft? or should I just assume that she has read the ad properly? Do you think this would tactfully remind her - without putting her off - if I send her an e-mail - the following: "As stated in the advert, the brakes need bled, so they might seem a bit soft, but the car is still legal and okay to drive. I have all the documents etc."Please note that I have had the brakes looked at by a mechanic - the brake nipples are seized, so he has managed to sort it for the time being, but in order to replace the brake nipples & carry out other repairs, it was going to cost around £300 - hence the reason I am selling as I have spent a great deal on it already. I have sold it for less than half of what I bought it for, so I feel I have been perfectly fair in advertising for spares/repair and stating what the repairs actually are. If the car was illegal to drive the way it is, I'm sure the mechanic would have informed me - as then I would have been forced to have the work done there and then, filling his pockets in the meantime, and I would not have been able to drive it home. moreResolved Question: There is a new car dealer in my town (large) that advertises like this on TV and radio: "If I can't beat a
new car Ford deal in Texas, I will just give it to you!" How can this be? It certainly can not be true. There is no cruise control on this car. The vin# is the same as the car in the ad. When I called the Toyota dealership, the new car sales manager said that the newspaper mis-printed the ad info. She told me she is waiting on a retraction letter from the newspaper. She also stated that she could "get me out of the car " if that would make me happy. WHAT WOULD MAKE ME HAPPY WOULD BE ME RECEIVING THE CAR EQUIPPED AS ADVERTISED AT THE PRICE ADVERTISED!!! Any lawyers out there? What are my rights here? Is the dealership required by law to make good on their ad? Or can the dealership pass the buck and put the blame on the newspaper and thus leave me "high and dry". I am a repeat customer. I was searching online for a new car and I came across a nice newer car for super cheap which I assumed to be a mistake, but called anyway. When talking to them on the phone they informed me that they knew it was like that and told me the actual price of the car (WAY higher than listed!). A week later the price is still the same, the same car, same vin #, same dealer, on different websites!!! Can they do that? Or if I have the pages printed out and I walk into that dealership do they legally have to sell me the car for that price. They KNOW that they did this, and for whatever reason are intentionally leaving it like that. I want the car!!! Don't they have to give it to me for that price by law? Or isn't it false advertising? Please help! Thank you!I know that's how they lure customers, but I am a retail manager and when something is wrongly priced we have to give it to the customer at the cheaper price... shouldn't it be the same? (i don't want to give too much info of the city and dealer....for now). well our city (metro area) has 4 scion dealerships. i then went online to thier specific dealer websites and found that they were quite the same. except one. one dealer had advertised "1500 off all scion tc's in stock." i printed the flyer and headed down there and first they said ..."if its on our site, then its good"......so we picked our car and then they came back saying that its only for 2007 tc's. i said then why when i clicked on the advertisment it showed all your 2007 and 2008's tc's. also the car pictured along with the advertisment is a big 2008 scion tc (you can tell the difference from the 2007 and 2008 from the headlights). we called scion headquarters and are still waiting. the dealer never took thier adverstisment down. what can i do next? moreResolved Question: Where I can do in London advertising printed on my car?
