Im looking at buying a car from spain, im in the uk i saw the car advertised at a cheap price and contacted the seller, they have said the deal is i pay said amount into yahoo safe money transfer where funds are held till i receive the car and test it for upto 15 days before i let yahoo give the funds to the seller, if im not happy i can just send it back and it wont cost me a penny. I bought a 00 Pontiac Grand Am GT 4 door on Sept. 23 of last year. I had about $3000.00 to buy a car and bad credit. Against better judgment I went to a local dealer that advertises all approved. My thinking was if I purchased from the I would have a warranty, build credit and keep some money in the bank. It turns out that the guy who owns the lot also owns the fiance company and warranty company, the all just operate under different name bottom line its a buy here pay here place. I had the car 3 weeks, everything was fine decided to take a trip to see some family in NJ ( I'm in MI), get in to ohio the motor blows in the car. I had AAA so they paid for the tow to repair shop. I called the warranty company went back and forth between them and the repair shop for five days(paying for a hotel this whole time). Finally they decided they will send the repair shop the motor, witch was from a junkyard (I didn't think warranty companies used junkyard motors), they had no idea when it would be there in the next 7 days, no idea how many miles were on it. They also weren't covering about $700 of the job. I wasn't staying in a hotel for another week it would cost me more between the hotel and $700 then to buy a motor and pay for it myself. I ended up paying $1200. I talked to the warranty company about getting reimbursed they laughed and hung up the phone, seriously. I want to know what my changes of wining are in court. Also I have since found out that they pulled the light out of the check engine light, air bag light. Thanks for reading sorry it was so long.I didn't say I spent 3000, I said I had 3000 the car was 6000. I also didn't say I wanted them to pay for the hotel. They advertised secretarial jobs for $13 per hour, which is a good wage, and at 40 hours per week. I have lots of experience managing people, using computer programs, typing, etc... I know this is a bad economy ect ect but i am talking about places that are actually hiring. There are several places in my area that have advertised employment and are hiring tons of people, holding open interviews ect. But none of these places have any interest in hiring me. I know i must be doing something wrong on these applications because these places don't even want to meet me in person. I have applied to literally every place in my town (and i really do mean literally) hundreds of places. and I have not gotten a single call back or a single interview. I go in, call and contact them often and follow the instructions the managers tell me and then one of the times i contact them they say oh sorry we have filled all our positions or sorry you are just not what we're looking for. I actually had a retail store tell me today that they don't like my personality and think there are better applicants for the job than me based on my online questionnaire. These people have never met me in person they do not know i have a son or anything else that should give them a neg. opinion of me. Many advertisers are profiting from what reels us in, which are these many ads you hear or see on the TV, radio, internet, etc. All in all, it’s a two-sided affair. Say you are just checking your email and you see a thousand emails. Possibly, half of those are spam from those penny-pinchers out to get you and your money. So what should you do about this? Well, you have one of two options being the check all and delete button or moving all that unnecessary junk to the spam folder where it belongs and needs to stay. Commercialism is vastly becoming a problem not a success as many assume it to be. Studies show that 67% of teens buy items online and 37% of children do. Commercialism attacks the adolescent ages because they figure we are susceptible to any commerce that they are willing to throw at us. Also, many individuals assume this to be a more convenient way of purchasing anything and it being a faster way. That may be, but how do you know you are actually getting what you paid for? You’re wasting your precious time behind a glass screen. Purchase the more effective way, by going out into stores and getting what you need. Many politicians use commerce for their campaigns. You know those TV ads that always contradict that you need to vote for so and so for president instead of the other guy because he did whatever? The price goes up for a product if realized that it makes a certain individual sustain a cool image by using it or buying it. Many of these can be misleading, so any time you are gullible to believe one you are giving away money that could be used for something more important. Advertising takes up a lot of one’s time. We only have one life to live right? The average American spends at least 60 minutes reading, hearing or even watching ads on the television, radio, in magazines, etc. By the time that person comes of old age, 4 years of their life will be basically deducted away from under their feet. Some say that we are immune, too smart, and too savvy to fall for such. If so were true, we wouldn’t know so much of certain brand names, dress a certain way, buy the foods we eat, and our lives wouldn’t mirror the ads around us. In addition to that, we wouldn’t need pop-up blockers, virus protection programs, and firewalls to save us from all this commerce. So ask yourself this, are we really immune to what we see on the TV, hear on the radio, etc? If we really were, we wouldn’t feel the vanity of using these things to get a better self-image to fit in with the way society portrays us to be, which is all the same. It’s kind of a win-win situation at its best, honestly and ironically enough. On the contrary, you are helping yourself out somewhat the same way you are helping out these phony ads. Sure ads can help us out by providing vital information to us consumers, but there is way too much that we are exposed to. Ads can hide the fact of caring for each other, the environment, and the community. Many ads give off a bad message to viewers. Such as smoking meaning you are different in a good way than everyone else, you’re only cool if you drive a pricey car, and also making us think that you have to be mature to drink. These messages can cause conflict in families because they could or can influence the way a person in that family thinks. This could cause friction because of the choices that family member made due to the advertisement. In that case, who’s to blame here? It all depends on the situation. To blame for 90% of it would be the advertisement because it provoked them to make such a decision and the other 10% being lack of poor judgment and self-esteem that was made better by the advertisement. So for all this in mind, why do we really need commercialism anywhere? To pay the bills, to help finances, to help make it an easier, better, more convenient way to make purchases? All it does is cause problems. What does it really help? You’re not really earning anything but helping the advertiser earn your trust and money. So next time you fall for one of these, think of all the consequences that won’t cushion your fall. Whenever you see a pop-up that pops up on your screen, click the x button at the top right, whenever you see any junk email click the delete all button, whenever you hear an ad on the TV, radio, or any electronic device turn it off and read a book not a magazine, instead. I live in Warren, MI. Lots of fat people here, so not sure if anyone will join, but I would think that if there were more smaller neighborhood gyms that there may be a market. There used to be a World's Gym near my house that did very well, until a car dealer bought it and tore it down to build yet another parking lot for cars that don't sell. The old gym was torn down about two years ago. I am looking at a corner building across from a 7-11 on a main road near bus stops, flower shops, etc. The building is listed for 175k but the Flower shop owner thinks I can probably get it for under 100k. I've yet to perform full due diligence, so I really do not have info on set costs such as water, heat, insurance, taxes, etc. Any gym owners, former gym owners out there with any advise? The economy around here is sour, but I think I may be seeing a niche. The only other gyms around here are located at a community center 5 miles away and there is an LA Fitness 3 miles away and a Ballys 3 miles away. As you can see, Poland is basically Heaven. Obviously, this description of the country I call home is entirely fabricated from my imagination. Poland is actually nothing like this, but if there is one quality I want to show in this essay about myself, it is my ability to think outside the box. I thrive on creativity, and originality is what I do best. I could have written all about the time I won the basketball game with the winning shot just two seconds before the buzzer rang. Maybe you would have enjoyed hearing how I scored a perfect score in Bowling, and how all my hard effort ended up in a victory for the team. I began writing out fundamental key points that if i wright a book must be in the book then i sat back and looked at my notes, there is no possible way that I could fit this into anything less then 4 books. Okay I'll start a science fiction series to make me the money that i need to start my company but my personal research told me that i could only expect possibly $1.00 - $2.00 per book sold and that is if I produce them myself! Well, needless to say I'm not going to make 4 million dollars overnight making my dreams into books, but if i do make them that will give me some capital to start working with and hopefully, a loyal fan base. Alright so I make the books, then I make a website for the game and explain whats going on, put a bunch of mini games that are entertaining and free because you know free games bring people in and possibly create a very very low budget 2D version of the game that players can play online together, the game tibia, the graphics are terrible but A LOT of people are obsessed with that game (myself included). then a lot like tibia make the game play free but charge a low monthly rate that allows players to do more. So through that proses i can get some more fans. Explain on the site that my idea is going to take some serious money and get some donations thou I know that is unreliable it might help a bit.. For the loyal fan base, put some t-shirts on the site, advertise and sell my books on the site. sell some pay per click advertisement space on the site. Then over time HOPEFULLY i can reach my goal but if not i did have one more idea, get as much money as i can, pay my employs to create a demo, and sell advertising space in the game, this game takes place in modern times, and ill bet that right now as you read this you cant even look around the room you are in with out seeing 2 or 3 advertisements weather it be on the side of your can of coke or the name brand logo on the monitor you are looking at. sense advertising is so common in our every day life it would be unrealistic if i did not add advertisement to the game right? So my idea is that your player picks up a pistol, that is a Smith and Weston pistol, its a real model that they actually make, your player finds a car, and bam its the new ford whatever. Your player drives down the street and sees a billboard for coke, and a wall-mart. That is my final idea to get the funding to produce my video game. what i want from you is feed back on my ideas, are they good, do they suck, and do you have any additional ideas that could help me on my journey? I am a independent contractor at a very nice salon where i do hair, make-up, waxing, eyelash extensions and i also make my own jewelry and display it there. I have a pretty decent amount of client, and am very happy with those that I have. Because of the type of salon it is, we do not get walk-ins..which is fine because I don't want to be at that type of salon anyways. I am very confident in my work and love what I do but I am having trouble getting more in to fill in some gaps here and there to the point where I am always completely booked. I have made flyers and put them on cars in various places...went from business to business with them...they have coupons on them and a brief description of what I do. I have sent some to clients saying they will get a discount for referring..and that has brought a couple in but I'd like to have more. I also put an add in a local coupon magazine that everyone in the area gets for free. I am involved in many local art shows with my jewelry in which I give out my business cards to all other artists and buyers. I know it's a rough time for alot of people right now money wise but I know there are people out there that I can get as clients...and I want to get them as soon as I can because I'm sure it would be best to get them before the holidays. Resolved Question: ISP - OnelinkPR 40GB limit a month can i sue?

I have been a customer of onelinkpr internet since before they opened and purchased adelphia power link and before that i have been with community cable vision of puerto rico that was purchased by adelphia and all the problems have started ever since it was onelink i always have connections problems every month but since its one of the best speeds on the island 6 megs i was forced to stay with them. I pay $249.80 for cable and 2 modems the reason for 2 modems is so i don't hammer one with a router since there are 4 computers beeing used at the same time. Friday i opened my bill to see i have a notification saying that i used up 97.88 GB for a excess of 57.86GB of the 40gb per month limit so i called them up to find out whats going on and they told me this month i have used a excess of 180+GB and its 17$ per every 10 GB i used. Now i wouldn't be having these problems if i was notified of this 40gb limit they put i searched online and all i could come up with was they informed people via there email service when i don't even have a email account with them cause all they give is 25mb of email space and and to create a email you have to call them and answer a bunch of questions not as simple as just sign-up on there website and enter account number. for having a 6meg line im under contract for another 7 months i was informed when i tryed to cancel my services and that is another thing i was not aware of when i upgraded my package from 4 megs to 6 megs it was done over the phone all that was asked was my phone number and last 4 digits of my SS # and they quickly upgraded my service and i heard no talk about a contract and even if there is one are they allowed to make contracts with customer without even any signatures on legal documents? I did a quick search on the internet and i found out comcast in the usa was trying to pull the same thing onelinkpr is doing right now and the fcc sued them and forced them to remove the limit which leads me to beleave the acts of onelinkpr are illegal. i wont be able to talk to a lawyer till friday so im asking for a boost in help from you guys so i can see where i stand. If they would have just let me cancel my service i wouldent even be thinking about a lawyer. Forgot to add that when i decided to call a second time and contacted tecnicalsupport this time all they could say was i signed a contract when i first ordered the internet and in the contract it says they can change the contract whenever they want. i dont have a copy of that contract on me im going to there office to see if they can give me a copy of the one i signed not the updated version. Are they even allowed to change a contract without acceptance of the other party or any prior notification of a contract change? I was checking out there website http://www.onelinkpr.com and i did not see anywhere on there site talking about a 40GB cap/limit but i do remember them advertising on there website as "Unlimited high speed internet" at one point and now its saying "Internet at all velocity" Before people start asking how i could use up more then 40GB a month as a hobby a repair computers at my home and am constantly using windows update on each computer that i repair plus im uploading and downloading data from a programming project me and 7 other people are working on plus me and my wife hammer xbox live and downlodable game demos and streams. plus use payed services to watch movies online it may seam like alot but we are paying for 2 modems and people are paying for placing the lines running the servers and sending out the signal bandwidth is there and should not be limied only speed capped. they should recalculate the way things work and make shure each node hold 6mb per user 24/7 usage and then maybe they wouldent have to worry about "net abuse" but wait! i forgot the company dont have the money to invest into that because all the high end people behind the company are riding around in fancy cars or am i wrong?
