I have ask this question before and still wonder. Where I live in a small town we have a twelve target archery range and Sunday after noon there are sometime a waiting line. nearly every able bodied man here thinks he is Robin Hood and a large number of women participate. Lots of people bring children to instruct them there . Other towns I have ben in there are no archery ranges and people look at you like you are crazy when you ask about available archery ranges. Voting Question: Whenever I do a google search, I'm always redirected to a completely different page...?

Okay, so I'm getting really irritated, every time I do a google search and click a link, on various links it will just redirect me to a random page, sometimes having similar results, but not the page I was going to, or it will just be advertising something. I've tried this on several computers and EVEN MY PHONE, and still got the same results. In fact, I JUST cleaned this computer of viruses and scanned it, and nothing came up. I don't know if anyone has this problem as well, but I'm getting really sick of it and it's making my searching experience very frustrating. What I do to get around it though is just right click the link and copy the location, and paste it into the browser's address bar and it takes me to the page, but should I REALLY have to do this? NO, there's something wrong and it needs fixed. And, I'm pretty sure it's not my network, as it happens on my mobile web on my enV touch as well. Any help very much appreciated. :) more

my anti virus and malware software don't seem to indicate I have malware but I keep getting hijacked when I do a search. Is this due to cookies and if so, how do I remove them? If I want to find a house on the inter-nets, I go to realtor.com. Simple effective search engine, performs as advertised. If I want to find an apartment on the inter-webs, I go to apartment.com. They have the basic appearance of a “this is a search engine to find the community you’re looking for”, but it’s very obvious from the get-go that each is just a gateway to a particular corporation’s housing complexes. Resolved Question: What type of attorney should I consult to help me remove false information about me on the web?

I lost a lawsuit (not criminal), and it ended up in the newspaper...and the newspaper's website. Afterwards, it was decided that the verdict would not be entered, and things would be handled as a settlement...long story, but basically the judge allowed everything and anything as he was busy doing crossword puzzles during the trial, the jury was allowed to mingle with whomever, etc. Apparently, I was told it was not worth appealing. I was devastated enough, but lawyers' websites picked up the story and are using it for advertising, so now it's everywhere. And some of them have several details wrong. If they are reporting facts, then I have to live with it, but the stuff on there is not completely accurate. My attorney for this matter could not care less. I know that I could write to the individuals to ask them to remove the false information, but I think it would be more effective if an attorney sent the letter, What kind of attorney deals with this kind of thing? And once it's removed, what happens? Does it still show up on the search engine, but when you click it does it say the page is removed? I just feel that this will follow me forever. I don't mean to stir up debate, but has anyone noticed a well, a heavy increase in trolls hunting in Yahoo! Answers (and the whole darn web) for simple debates or questions that they can mess up for their own pleasure? First Troll: The Noob troll: I would say that roughly a third of the questions asked by people on answers are by people who are lvl 1 and have about 95 points... They are not loyal to yahoo, and even if they ask an honest question, they pretty much faked their entire Yahoo! account. Second Troll: Even if its not a troll, its still really annoying when people advertise a product, Youtube video, or even a hostile link. Most of these people are again, Lvl 1, and often all their answers are cut and paste " [These Pills] Changed my life! http;//fakelink.bs.." or "Check out this awesome video! www.youtube.com/Iamanolifewhospendsalldayonanswersadvertisingstupidvideos." Third Troll: Racist Guy. Sure, they get caught quickly, but jeez, these guys keep making new accounts just so they can ask racist or sexist questions, or worse, ruin OUR experience by placing offensive answers on our pages. Fourth Troll: Guy who answers every question like this: "get a life" or "Dude thats for nerds" If you are going to be here, offer helpful advice, and even if its wrong its better than these hurtful notes. Fifth Troll: Spammer. Just asks the 20 question max for lvl 1's. Thank God Yahoo! made a limit. Wastes time. Gives unsupported answers covered with hyphens, or even the infamous scroll troll. Gives cut and paste answers. Asks the same question 6 times in a row. So here is my question: Aren't trolls obnoxious? Am I the only one who is going berserk? Hey, for the past few months i have been thinking about ways to make money online which i could use in future to begin a small business. I am currently 17 and my best ideas due to my small budget is writing an ebook and buying and selling cheap products. I think focusing on an e-book would be my best chance. Anyways to my question, I am think about writing an e-book on the basics of HTML web creation using notepad. I know how to do it very well and although its a little bit outdated way to create a site the customers i am aiming at is younger people and adults who are new to computing. What i need some advice or information on are: 1. how can i make the book keep the readers attention when its a learning subject. 2.some advice on using links to sites like Google, e.g is it copyright or would i be allowed to. 3.If i make a mistake in the book and people buy it from amazon etc can i get into trouble? 4.when writing the e-book then when i sell it do i need to register as a small company or pay any special tax or how to inform any certain companies?(i currently have a full time job also) 5.If the book is only around 10 pages but has all the information on creating an attractive website with colors, pictures, music etc what price would you expect to pay? 6.Any additional information you could give me would be great and i would really appreciate it. Since our beloved Star Trek Experience has been bound up in red tape and politics for what seems to be a life time. I was doing some very hard thinking about the past and how our forefathers and mothers dealt with such issues as we have here with our predicament. Back in the days of the original series a serious letter writing campaign helped change the minds and hearts of the huge producers and well... the rest is history as they say. But in these precarious times we have seen letter writing campaigns not work, neither does petitions or vocal oppositions. I have seen this countless times in government and in the public sectors where the ones in “control” don't care or respect what us people in the “under class” thinks or wishes it is only about the money that they can squeeze from us! So how do we make a difference? WE the people have to step up and MAKE the difference. Here is my idea , all of us (us being every Star Trekker /Trekkie or any name we go by) chip in and WE build the Experience ourselves. Hear me out before you shoot me down with cat calls and laughter. . In these days when all the news is bad and depressing we would be a ray of sunshine, a place to go for hope for the future. Of course have fun all the way! And if done right make some money along the way. Here is my ideas 1.Every fan chips in $1000.00 Think about it if we get 1000 people to contribute $1000.00 that is 1 million dollars! A million that can buy a large building that can hold a lot of people, displays, rides etc. Of course we will not be in prominent places like the strip in Vegas but more like an empty strip mall or ware house with access to transit and car traffic. Basicly we would rebuild the Experience! But with one big difference WE would be in control of OUR future. I know this is a lot of cash for a lot of us, me included, but those who contribute will then be held as presidents meaning they will be helping make the choices in the beginning, until we set up elections and promotions then everyone is elected into office of Presidents, Admirals, Captains. Each rank responsible for different areas of the Experience. Like accounting, engineering, promotions, etc. More money contributed the higher the rank till elections occur. After set up then we disband and the elections happen with ALL ranks voting so that way everyone has a chance to be anything they want to be and not a place for the rich to buy their way in. Other words you have to work hard to get to the top and not buy your way into the position. Now if one can not afford to contribute there is lots for you to do, you can do sweat equity into the Experience, think about it this way, everyone out there is doing things for a living right? You are all electricians, plumbers, accountants, cooks, etc. So there is our construction crew, and book keeping and different labour sectors. After a set number of hours of volunteering you get your rank into the Experience depending on the number of hours, you put in, the higher the rank. So everyone can move up higher in rank the harder they work until officer rank then you have to be elected. Everyone including the ones that contributed money has to work in the Experience a set amount of hours per month every year to keep their rank active and keep there shares. And this is the beauty of the thing everyone can do something from grunt work to office work to even blogging. There is work for everyone with every physical ability. You can work anywhere in the world, all you have to do is something for the Experience to grow and prosper, for instance you can set up advertising for us on the internet and on local TV, as well as spread the word of us by word of mouth, maintain a web page for us etc etc. The first few years we would need a steady flow of cadets coming into the Experience to make this work, and at this stage of human evolution money as well. We will need to constantly have fund raising actives. As well as contributions from all our new and old members. All money will be transparent and everyone from Presidents to the lowest crew-member can see the books and help dictate where the money goes. As well as what the Experience will look like and where we will go in the future. By way of monthly meetings and online votes and polls. And every crew member that is active will have a share in the Experience depending on rank and years into the project. 2. Now here is the hardest part of all !! Getting Paramount to give us the right to use the images and insignia of Star Trek and all its parts. Basicly getting a licence to use the name!! This will be the hardest part of all, they will be hesitant and unwilling to share. As was the case in Vegas, they just kept bickering till nothing had a ghost of a chance to work.
