Open Question: Do you think the gay rights movement is really just one part of an overall sexual revolution?

I realize that for many people in the gay community it has been incredibly difficult and hard fought for you to determine your own place in a world run by many who refuse to accept you or who refuse to accept the fact that your orientation actually has a basis in being hard-wired and beyond your control. I realize too that you must always be careful as to the manner in which you conduct yourself so as not to appear too welcoming of certain undesireable Chickenhawk types. However, there was a leader of yours named Harry Hay who saw things differently and some people believe that if it weren't for a few horrific incidents perpetrated by certain members of NAMBLA that there would be plenty of other sexual orientations that would also fall under the banner of GLBT. So if I haven't offended too much even though I realize that today's leadership is strongly opposed to any such linkages due to the harm it may cause the movement I would like to know what you think?Really John? Are you really suggesting that gay icon Harry Hay who founded the first gay organization in the United States and fought tirelessly for minorities of all stripes was not one of your leaders? Open Question: Should Minor-Attracted Adults accept disability?

According to the APA, any adult who is attracted to someone dubbed a minor by society(which changes from based on location) falls under the banner of pedophilia which is on the apa's dsm or list of mental disorders. Some MAA's believe that for us this is a sort of quiet way of accepting our orientation while not publicly accepting it while others believe we are due at least this much based on the way society chooses to label us all child molesters and at times chooses to destroy our lives even though some of our attractions fall well within the range of being legal in most states and countries! So here is my real question. If we all got organized and began a national push for acceptance and a removal of the more socially acceptable aspects of our attractions to be removed from the dsm and began this push by publicly opposing any disability payments or special rights based on a disability on the grounds that we feel it is normal do you think it would have any impact on social acceptance or acceptance by the apa? I think it's a question worth asking but what do you think? Keep in mind that my personal interest lies in girls of 15-16 which is as I was saying legal in many U.S. States and most parts of the world. And just to be clear: My argument is not attempting to promote relationships between adults and anyone unable to give consent.I probably should have mentioned this but before I took it upon myself to begin dating a young lady I would make sure it was acceptable with her parents. Even though I realize that it is considered old-fashioned to the point of being archaic these I feel that it is not only a wonderful idea but is also at least in my case a practical concept predicated by legal need to avoid incarceration, and by the way thank you for mentioning that. I have an appointment in a few weeks to get some work done, I'm getting a few tattoos done in one session because, my tattoo artist is in Chicago & I am going to visit there (I live in Hawaii now, so I can't just go whenever I want). I'm working on a sleeve, I want it to be as traditonal as possible, like old school tattoos. I already have the traditional heart with "mom" on the banner and some daisies on my arm, and I want to go off that. I know I want to put an anchor and a pin up girl and maybe some sparrows on it. I have noticed when looking thru my Aviation Guide Books there are numerous pictures were planes of different types and different Decades have what is called the Tricolor or Tail Flash. I know this has been in use since World War 1 and is still used today. But what I don't know is what is it's meaning. And why did the Soviets and Germans of World War 2 and thru the 1950's have the Hull and Tail insignia on the plane? Why doesn't the United States use a Tail Flash/Tricolor on our planes? Open Question: If my belly button is infected can I still get a tattoo?

I think my belly button is infected but I'm not sure (that's another whole issue). If it is infected would it be a bad idea to get a tattoo this weekend. I've had my belly button for about 2 1/2 months. Open Question: Having problems with iPhone Jailbreak.?

I bought my iPhone at France and used it in argentina for two months. When it arrived i could use it but the phone wouldn't read the sim so after i jailbroked it i installed blascksn0w from blackra1n to unlock it. Besides it was tethered jailbroken so i couldn't turn it off because i had to jailbreak it again if i did so. One day, my dog heavily scratched the display so i stopped using it for 3 weeks and my sister who has an iPod Touch updated to 3.1.3. and jailbroked it with Spirit. So i wanted to jailbreak it to at 3.1.3. and i jailbroke it first (remember it was tethered) with blackra1n, then i restored it and installed 3.1.3. with iTunes and when i turn it on it appears as in recovery mode (like tethereds, with the usb cord when you connect it to pc) but with the slide for emergency call banner (the picture at the base was the usb cord's one, not the usual earth), i tried sn0wbreeze with 3.1.3. ipsw. and it didn't work, spirit you have to have it in the main screen, and both iTunes and my phone say that my sim isn't valid and that i should put my original carrier's sim (orange france). more

I'm currently in the process of going through a bunch of pokemon cards my cousin gave me years ago. And I have a few questions about the cards. On a lot of my cards, there are little symbols on the bottom right hand of the picture. Not the card. I'm talking about right next to the little banner that says what type of pokemon it is and its length and weight. I've seen some that look like claw prints and some that look like little medals and some that look like one star on top of another and some that look like a Pokeball with a 2 behind it and other that I have no idea what they look like. Do these little symbols mean anything? If I were to have a garage sale and I was going to sell 15 cards in a pack, roughly, what should I price them as? I know that they aren't worth a lot at the moment. I have 25 rare pokemon cards. In general, what would be a good price for them? I have one first edition uncommon Fearow card. What could I price that at? I have another 1st edition card, but it's a Venomoth and it's a rare card. What about that one? What should it be priced at since it's rare and a first edition? I also have one Promo Meowith card. What should that be priced at? I have one card that is shiny, but in the bottom it has a circle (meaning it's common). So... is it common, or not? Open Question: How do I make my WPF app profitable?

I have a very cool little app I wrote in Windows Presentation Foundation, and I need to know the best way to make it profitable. The trick is its purpose and therefore its intended user base (audience). It's an app for finding, prioritizing, downloading, and opening .torrent files. Obviously, the majority of people who will use this application aren't usually willing to pay for things. That's why I thought advertising banners might be the way to go. However, that route gets complicated since Google Adsense doesn't allow ads to be placed in desktop apps. Is there an ad service that pays for advertising in desktop apps? Should I use advertising at all or a paid registration type model? Should I offer a trial period? Should I offer a "stripped" version that's free? I just don't know the best way to make some money for my efforts. Thank You. more
