I am in the process of rebuilding my photography / image editing business website and have decided upon a change of domain name. I have several ideas floating around in my head, but would welcome some suggestions:-) The domain shouldn't exceed 10 characters. Resolved Question: Strange Microsoft support e-mail, could someone tell me if it is fake?

I got a e-mail saying that my microsoft Live ID password had been reset, it says that in order to finish the reset im to follow a link, and if I didn't reset it im to follow another link, to cancel the request. The senders e-mail address is "postmaster@live.com" It also only address the e-mail using my yahoo e-mail address and not my actual name. Another funny thing I noticed about it was that it did NOT include any logos or banners with microsoft logos etc. in it. It is just plain text so anyone could of written it. Resolved Question: What date is this Gien, France pot?

My parents bought a Gien pot in a market in Devon for £30 but we don't know much about it. It's an unusual shape (cant really describe it in words!) Resolved Question: Problems making an image into a link?

I've set the header of my page as a div with a defined width and height. Inside that div is an image (logo) with the same width and height as the div. When I preview in a browser, everything looks fine. The problem happens when I set that image as a link to the home page. The layout becomes messed up. It's like as if adding the link has add some extra height to the image, even though I've set borders to 0. I'm using Dreamweaver CS4 if that makes any difference. The html is <div id="top"> <a href="../index.html"><img src="../Images/Muse-Banner-changed.jpg" alt="Muse Interiors" width="780" height="125" border="0" /></a> </div> The CSS is #top { width: 780px; height: 125px; } Any ideas? more

Resolved Question: SERIOUS Laptop problems?!?

hey, this started a couple of days ago, i turn my laptop on and i get bombarded with all these pop ups about viruses and security warnings.. on the bar where the time is, with all the little application logos are, a new one has appeared, it is a turquiose shield with a silver banner going through it and messages are popping up from it literally every 20 seconds, saying; " 'windows security alert' - application cannot be excecuted. the file 'example'.exe is infected. do you want to activate your antivirus software now? " If i click on it, a large blue window pops up, saying 'Antivirus system pro' and it says it is performing a scan and has found threats etc.. another blue window pops up saying if i want to remove threats i need to purchase the full version of this 'antivirus system pro' or else continue unprotected. A large red window pops up in the middle of the screen after I have declined purchasing the full version, which says 'spyware alert, vulnerabilities found, your system is infected by spyware' and options to activate antivirus system pro(taking you to a website to buy it) or stay unprotected. argh! I also get ANOTHER pop up in the bottom right of my screen saying 'infiltration alert' do you want to block this attack?' etc and options 'yes' or 'no' when i click yes or no, the box closes but then pops up again about a minute later!! My firewall is on, and i do have norton anti virus software, but my system is not letting me open the program, and i also cannot open internet explorer without it crashing. I;ve tried downloading avg and avast antivirus software from the internet but the programs will not open.. So, yeah my laptop is really f*cked up at the moment, so i'm just going to have to stop using my laptop all together at this rate, these popups and windows appearing every 5 seconds are driving me crazy!!!! :( Any tips on how i can remove this virus or anything please? just helpful comments pleaseeeeeeee. >.< thankyou! more

Resolved Question: How do I stop a CSS header element from overlapping a float which I need to be on top?

I need to place an image in a float which is contained in a div for content like text and images, and push it up with a margin to overlap partly on another div for the top banner with links and a logo in. When I nudge the float up, the top header with the links and logo in over lap it and hide part of the image. I have tried to use z-index with negative values on the header and positive values on the float but this doesnt help. Does anybody have any ideas how to overcome this? more
