Voting Question: What qualifications would I need to become a music technology teacher?
Hello. I am 17.
I'm starting a 2 year (BTEC Level 3 Music Technology course) this year.
I have a great knowledge in music technology from my own research over the years. I came out of school with all my subjects at GCSE level at grade C.
I know that I deffinetely want to work in the music industry somewhere. I want to be a musician at the moment, but for a back up plan I was thinking of becoming a music technology teacher...
I want to study music production (BA Hons) at university after college any maybe a PHD. What qualifications would I need to become a music Technology teacher and what other type of job's are there in the music industry? Because I know that it is very competitive like anything else now a day's and job's in the music industry are on a low.
Thank you.Well I've heard from a lot of people that job's in the music industry are hard to get.. and the numbers of jobs are going down very fast.
moreResolved Question: Are people who write about "natural health" actually qualified to do so?
Looking at one website often referenced we pick an author at random and look at his qualifications.
"Mike Adams is a natural health researcher and author"
So far so good. He doesn't however state what his qualifications are and what/where he's published. Researchers usually publish and are usually qualified in their area of research. Well let's move on.
"He is a prolific writer and has published thousands of articles, interviews, reports and consumer guides"
great. So does Which? but I wouldn't expect them to go telling me about health factors without referring to real medical scientists.
"He has created over 100 CounterThink cartoons and produced several popular hip-hop songs"
Now that certainly qualifies him to research. I think this is in the same way that Brian Cox was a member of Dare and D:Ream qualified him to go and work on ATLAS at CERN - nothing to do with a PhD in physics, all you need is to publish music and you're in.
"He's also a veteran of the software technology industry, having founded a personalized mass email software product"
So did Ralsky and he and his team got 24 years in jail
So what qualifies this person to write about health and be publishing articles telling what is and isn't good for us? This guy is prolific, if I were publishing like he does in my field of science and going against all known current thinking then people would be asking me what qualified me to do this. Why aren't people being more critical when it comes to their health?Does being a football player qualify one to be a studio analyst?
No idea, we're not discussing sport and I know nothing about it
"Are all the thousands of political analyists that write columns qualified?"
Certainly the ones who are listened to have at least one degree in an appropriate subject such as history, economics or political science and often two or more. Most have a double.
"Is everyone who paints your house or tends your garden qualified?"
Yes, if they are not why would you employ them in the first place? If you wish to employ unqualified people then you get what you deserve when it all goes wrong, and they are unlikely to have proper insurance and more likely to make a botch job of it. Watch Anne Robinson for prime examples.
"How about the people that watch your kids or teach them in school?"
Absolutely, and are members of professional registers and can be banned and struck off.If there is all this quality research going on, then why isn't it being published in peer reviewed journals where the protocols can be tested and replicated by others? And NO I am not accepting an answer that says "because Big Pharma won't like it"
moreResolved Question: Which Degree should I do?
I've got the choice of two degrees & I need help choosing which one to do:

I'm not the best at maths but I know the required design software inside out. I just need advice from people who've either taken the degrees or people in the industry.
Please advise....
moreResolved Question: Is this how a one World Government will be achieved?
Dr. Wernher von Braun, the head of the Nazi rocket program, was brought to America after the war because our government considered his knowledge and expertise too vital to fall into enemy hands.
Dr. von Braun brought a wealth of information gleaned from other top Nazi scientists like his boss, SS General Hans Kammler. Von Braun was privy to work on anti gravity propulsion vehicles. With access to NASA's secret programs, von Braun apparently began to see the "big picture" regarding the true goals of America's space program and how the military-industrial complex was manipulating it according to a secret, hidden agenda.
Dr. Carol Rosin was an industry executive when she first met Dr. Wernher von Braun in February 1974. At this time, before his death in 1977, von Braun confided to Dr. Rosin NASA's hidden agenda.
Inviting her into his office, Von Braun stunned Dr. Rosin by explaining that it was all leading to planetary control under an oppressive One World Government.
Now,...According to Dr. Rosin,
Watch this short film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaTgOSHbBEI
von Braun then gave her one supreme assignment: He said a secretive trans-national power, already in existence, would move to permanently take control of this planet thru a hoaxed alien invasion from outer space.
According to von Braun, space based weapons, later known as the "Star Wars" program, were to be promoted as a "shield" against the Russians. Then, as a defense against 'rogue' nations. Then, as protection against asteroids and meteors. Finally they would be presented as a safeguard against an extraterrestrial threat.
According to von Braun, all of these rationales would be lies. These space based weapons would be useless against nuclear suitcase bombs available even in 1974, as well as chemical, viral, bacterial and biological terror weapons.
More importantly, von Braun told Rosin that we already had the technology to build anti gravity vehicles and entire transportation systems which did not require so-called 'fossil' fuels. Instead, they used "beams" of energy, eliminating all pollution.
The goal of this hoaxed space alien invasion was simple:
Create a common enemy and drive all nations to submit to a One World Government. And in Dr. Greer's words: "...to justify eventually spending trillions on space weapons... thus uniting the world in fear, in militarism and war."
Now,..these are not my words, nor is it my firm belief.
I am merely curious as to the possibility of such a covert devious plan.
What are your thoughts?

The Letter:
FYJ
The Federation of Young Journalists
26 April 2010
Dear Student,
As you may know, the FYJ is an organisation set up to connect young people to the important social and political issues of the day.
The newspaper industry faces some serious problems:
- Newspaper circulation is declining
- The average age of a newspaper reader is over 55
- Newspapers have failed to engage with the 15 - 24 year old demographic.
We believe that newspapers have lost touch with young people. The needs of the youth audience are largely ignored by the Popular Press, and when young people are featured, they are often represented in a negative way.
The FYJ wants to recruit a dynamic media team to connect young people to the news. We are looking for enthusiastic young journalists with exciting ideas, who understand the needs of a youth audience, and can see how the Popular Press can use digital technology.
Your proposals need to include ideas that appeal to both genders. It is also important that you aim to represent people and events fairly and realistically.
Remember we are working to a tight deadline so keep your ideas concise and to the point.
Good Luck,
T Lloyd
Questions:
Q1) Show us what you know about the Popular Press
Examine two current newspapers from the Popular Press. What are the key features of their on-line and print based formats? Explain how each appeals to its target audience.
Your analysis needs to be based on two newspapers that are each targeted at a different readership.
Q2) As you know, newspaper circulation is in decline. Referring only to changes in the past ten years, explain how the popular press has tried to boost circulation.
How do you think the Popular Press will evolve in the future?
In you answer you need to respond to both parts of the question and include examples where appropriate.
Q3) The aim of the FYJ is to connect young people with the important social and political issues of the day.
Choose a current newspaper from the Popular Press and give us your ideas for its weekend youth section. We would like you to produce ideas for both print based and on-line format.
Tell us which newspaper you chose and explain how your ideas will appeal to a 15-24 year old market. Show how your print and on-line versions might link with each other.
Remember your proposals need to be appropriate to the newspaper for which you are writing, and your ideas need to appeal to both genders, with a focus on real news. You may wish to include sketches.
Q4) Now it is your opportunity to use your knowledge and understanding of the newspaper websites and to show us what your ideas look like.
Produce a design for the on-line youth news page.
Use the A3 design sheet provided. For headlines and images, you may wish to use real news stories; however, do not produce whole articles. You may wish to provide annotation to explain the function of certain features of your on-line news page

China Leading Global Race to Make Clean Energy
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/31/business/energy-environment/31renew.html
"China vaulted past competitors in Denmark, Germany, Spain and the United States last year to become the world’s largest maker of wind turbines, and is poised to expand even further this year.
China has also leapfrogged the West in the last two years to emerge as the world’s largest manufacturer of solar panels."
Does it matter that China is getting such a lead in the new technologies? Will we all be buying Chinese solar panels for ever after now? Why are British workers in our beleaguered heavy industry sectors not getting the chance to benefit from these new green jobs?jeff, yes i know. But they are turning their tanker around a good deal faster than any of the 'developed' countries, its very impressive to watch, and very frustrating.
We too are still building coal power stations.dana, yes, the engineers that run china can say 'make it so' and it happens. they dont have to slog through the sea of opposition from vested interests, they have a big advantage.
paul, spot on. it's been happening since thatcher, and i spent several years waiting for nu-labour (= tory lite) to stem the arterial bleeding from the manufacturing sector. no chance!
you cant eat a city bank.d/dx, lots to think about there. i only disagree about the innovation side; chinese patent numbers are rapidly catching up with ours, give it a decade and they will be up with europe and n. america. i dont know if we will see a cultural difference in the type of innovation, maybe more cautious steps?
On the wages side; there is far to much spread here, it is leading to a collapse of the social mobility that fuelled the innovations of the last four decades. the rich have clotted at the top of the milk again, time to shake the bottle.i said to watch siemens didnt i;

In our world the relationship between man and nature is the foundation of all. We live in an era when the future of the environment is in the hands of man. In ancient times man's relationship on the environment was like that of animals with which man lived. Man sapiens interacting with nature through the gathering and hunting
With the development of technology and new knowledge this relationship has changed. The diffusion of technology and scientific method have given rise to so-called industrial civilization.
This industrialization has improved human life, such as the spread of medicine and hygiene, the increased availability of food. But this development has caused many negative aspects in the environment. The man was unable to achieve a proper relationship between industry and environment. One major downside is the pollution that is very dangerous for the nature.
The man must be very careful for the exploitation of nature because overfishing can cause environmental degradation.
This could cause difficulties on the survival of mankind in the future. Environmental degradation, in fact, is closely linked to the degradation of life for all living beings, including man We can avoid degrading the environment by doing little things like not wasting water, food, energy and gasI want that you correct my task for the school, please.

I think of myself as a reliable, hardworking person who likes to meet deadlines for assignments at school, and strive to make work to the highest standard.
In school, the subjects I have taken are Maths, English, Science and PE, which are compulsory, then I take BTEC Business, National Certificate ICT and Food Technology as my choices. The subjects I enjoy the most out of these are Business, ICT and Maths. I enjoy ICT and Business, as when I am older, I want to work in the computer industry, and possibly own my own business and I feel as well as helping prepare me for future life, they let me do what I enjoy. I like Maths because I feel I am good with numbers, and like to solve problems. Both BTEC Business and National Certificate ICT are coursework only subjects with no exams, which I prefer, so I can improve my work until it is up to the standard I think is suitable.
Outside of school, I attend the ATC (Air Cadets) twice a week, Monday and Wednesday 7pm until 9:30pm. 5 hours a week is quite a commitment, but I do enjoy going, as i feel it helps prepare me for a career in the Royal Navy, which is what I want to do when I leave school. Through the ATC, I have learnt how to play in marching band, how to perform basic military drill manoeuvres, how to work in a team, and I have also completed my Duke of Edinburgh award through Cadets. I have also been rewarded with my gliding GIC certificates 1,2, and 3, which mean that I have pitched the glider, ‘yawed’ it, and rolled it whilst controlling it in the sky.
Throughout my time at school, I have enjoyed it, and have had great attendance, and have always been punctual. Each year I have had a certificate rewarding my good attendance, and punctuality.

Is Sheik Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi right below? He said:
" Dr. Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi: We use trains and planes, but they are not our trains or planes. The (Westerners) manufacture them and export them to us. True, we can buy the most magnificent things in the world products for our homes and for ourselves. Our people can buy the most luxurious cars, Rolls-Royce or Mercedes 500 or 700, models S, M, and L with all the luxuries. We own them, but we don’t manufacture them. We don’t even produce a single nail in any of these cars. Others do this for us.
The income of the entire Arab world, including the oil-producing countries, does not reach the that of a European country, such as Spain. Spain – let alone Germany, France, Britain, or Italy. Just Spain, which is at the bottom of the list of industrial countries… The income of the entire Arab world does not reach it. How come? Because we don’t work, and if we do work, we don’t do it professionally.
They conducted a survey of the average time that a government employee spends working in a certain Arab country. The average was 27 minutes a day. 27 minutes! The rest of the time he drinks coffee, reads newspapers, and goes on errands here and there. Only a small number of people work. The rest do not.
In the mid 1970s I went to Germany. We arrived during in the morning. I asked the guy who took me from the airport to the convention hall… As I was passing through the empty streets, I asked him how come the streets were not busy, like in our countries. He said: “People are at work.” After 7 p.m. he took me back to the hotel, and the streets were empty. I said to him: “What’s going on, the streets are empty again.” He said: people are back home from work, and they are exhausted. All they want is to eat their dinner, watch the news, and then go to bed, because early next morning they have to wake up for hard work. They commute more than an hour to work and back, and spend an hour at lunch. They work non-stop.
We are a nation that doesn’t work. How can we develop if we don’t work? When we do work, we don’t do it professionally. We keep saying “Don’t worry, later, later…” Islam teaches us to do things professionally. Doing things professionally is a religious duty. The Prophet said that Allah ordered to excel in everyhting. He imposed excellence and professionalism. Professionalism must be followed in everything. “If you kill, do it properly, and if you slaughter, do it properly.” Even when killing, you must do well.
Unfortunately, we do not excel in either military or civil industries. We import everything from needles to missiles. This is our nation. We still haven’t manufactured an engine in our Arab countries. We assemble parts, but have no manufacturing industries. India has manufactured a car, and even a plane, while we still go around in circles like a bull in who turns a grinding mill or a water weal until it reaches exactly where it started.
How come the Zionist gang has managed to be superior to us, despite being so few? It has become superior through knowledge, through technology, and through strength. It ahs become superior to us through work. We had the desert before our eyes but we didn’t do anything with it. When they took over, they turned it into a green oasis. How can a nation that does not work progress? How can it grow? "

Wouldn't our world be a better place if as much effort was put into striving for world peace, as is put into developing new & terrible kinds of warfare?
Melbourne, Jan 12 (ANI): To meet their battlefield needs without putting soldiers at risk, Israel is developing an army of robotic fighting machines that offers a window onto the potential future of warfare.
Sixty years of near-constant war, a low tolerance for enduring casualties in conflict, and its hi-tech industry has long made Israel one of the world's leading innovators of military robotics, The Wall Street Journal revealed.
In 10 to 15 years, one-third of Israel's military machines will be unmanned, predicts Giora Katz, vice president of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd, the Australian reports.
Among the recently deployed technologies that set Israel ahead of the curve is the Guardium unmanned ground vehicle, which now drives itself along the Gaza and Lebanese borders, the paper revealed. (ANI)

Very similar to the completed and than aborted sale by GM of Opel to the group led by Magna this year.
I am not focusing on the car industry in particular, just the unreliability of businesses, particularly american businesses for telling the truth. There are many many more examples, but this one is from today.

How much has the UK's footprint been reduced since the industrial revolution was at it's peak? What position does the UK hold regarding poisoning the atmosphere? There is little industry left in the UK and the winds from the Atlantic are clean and diffuse the air over the UK before moving on to Europe and Scandinavia! The government will soon be taxing flights (argumentative) - outside of that any other tax would be robbery on people who are about to embark on a year more difficult than this one.
If a force put this world together and gave humans the knowledge and technology to get this far (in his own good time) we must also believe that there is a remedy without cost.

I was wanting to do Fashion Design and/or Fashion Marketing. I still do, but I posted a question on Yahoo Answers earlier and someone gave me a REALLY harsh answer. No matter what they say or what anyone says, I still want to have a career in the fashion industry but I would like to know what I could have as a backup career encase it wouldn't work out. Can you please give me some suggestions?

English Literature - C

Art & Design - C
SA Science - D

A levels:
Business - predicted grade - A
Applied ICT - predicted grade - B
Art & Design - predicted grade - C
Someone told me earlier in the question I asked that just because I got a C in Art, it was wasn't good and I probably wouldn't be good if I went into Design as there are people who got better than me in Art. My response was: "Just because I got a C in GCSE Art and am expected to get a C at A-Level doesn't mean I'm not good. People forget that there is certain work that you HAVE to do in order to get the grade whether you like it on not. When I get to do my own thing and not something I HAVE to do to get a grade, I'm able to do it & stay focused. I am passionate about design & I'd kill to be a designer. Schools just can't say no just because you're not amazing at drawing or painting. Some designers I know do very little drawing, some even do no drawing at all! They may just use Design Software on a computer. Lets say you're doing a topic for Art and you choose Nature. Accurately drawing a leaf from first hand isn't designing. Just cos I'm not good at that doesn't mean I'm not good at design. It's just something you HAVE to do to pass. I don't want to be an Artist/Painter. I want to be a Designer."After finishing A-Levels, I plan to go onto university. I'm very passionate about Fashion Design and I also love Business (Marketing and Economic) but just not as much as Fashion Design. I would be interested in Business if I didn't get into a Fashion School but I feel I may not have a really good chance of getting into a Business Course in University as I have only got a C in my GCSE Maths and most courses ask for at least a B. Most of the Fashion Design Courses I have researched ask for 160 UCAS points and 2 C's at A-Level.

moreResolved Question: Can anyone help me make any corrections to my personal statement?
I have written this personal statement applying to a computer course next year for university,
i have been off school for the last week and would like to know if this reads ok and to finalize it.
thank you for any input.
I am interested in studying Computer Science because I have found it fascinating from a young age as I was absolutely attracted by Computer games and later it was programming and later designing small circuits. I also enjoy studying History and enjoy the practical work involved within technology and design, but I chose Computing as my career because of its opening, modernity and lots of challenges.
For my work experience I attended ICS computing company in Belfast. I enjoyed this as I had a firsthand view to experiencing the different aspects of an ICT organisation, including programming, setting up hardware and software installion. I also had the opportunity to reassemble both a laptop and desktop PC; I was then shown how to use some of the latest software on the market and how vital it was to that organisation. During this time I felt within my element and enjoyed it allot. I have from there decided to pursue a university course involving these skills with computing.
In school for my A Levels I am studding Technology and design (systems and control), ICT and history. I have also parpiciped in a circuit development course within the southern regional collage where have I learnt about micro-chips and process involved with circuit board manufacture. I am now hoping to pursue my interest in the computing industry and hope to complete a degree course and further find a job within this field if work.
Outside of school I enjoy music including indie and rock; I also read and enjoy movies. I go to the local gym twice a week, this allows for me to stay in shape and give me sense of self achievement. I have been swimming from a very young age and find myself to be a strong swimmer and am currently taking part a lifeguarding course over a 15 week period. I am also the leader of a Paintballing team that train very fortnight and hope to play in next year’s Irish Paintball league, this give me great sense of leadership and teambuilding. I’ve also a keen Interest in Computers, from a young age that has developed into different aspects like programming, gaming and PC performance.
A computer science degree will provide me with a broad range of exciting career opportunities and I am particularly interested in using the skills gained at university in either research or industry.

Would you say that the protection of the environment is incompatible with the needs of our consumer society?
Nowadays the problems linked to environment are arousing everyone's interest. But do our needs affect the protection of the Earth?
On (the) one hand, we can highlight the opposition between Earth care and mass consumption. Our current way of consumption (of live?) calls for a higher need of energy and natural resources. We know all that time to peak oil is close and cheap oil is over. This leads to extract oil from bituminous schist or burning coals which is a nightmare from an ecological point of view. Development and innovations leads to constant improvement of the industries, which brings on the creation of lots of plants. These factories emit greenhouse gases, which cause ozone depletion, and that is why it is harmful for the environment. (Our way of) eating more and more meat which needs a lot of corn, water and transport contributes (participates) to increase ecological instability. All those things are harmful for the environment
On the other hand, becoming aware of the consequences of our way of life style will surely help us to find smarter ways to protect our natural wealth. The progress linked to the mass consumption will enable us to switch to less (intrusive???) fuels, and will probably lead us to develop other technologies and why not be a strong support for a sustainable economic growth over a long period of time. This aspects show that our society could be compatible with the conservation of the environment. Moreover, we all secretly expect that human technology, innovation and development will cope with long term Earth care.
The real challenge is to get a collective realization of the current consequences of our way of life and take over the antagonist interests of different lobbies. There is without any doubt somewhere an equal interest to go further on.

i know this is un related but the other answer areas seem dead. but hi can anyone tell me what and if i need to change anything for my ucas personal statement. i am applying for a game art degree thanks. and i know i have spellin mistakes but i am talkin about the contex thanks.
I’ve always been Passiontide about art and design, ever since I was young; I use to enjoy making scrap books and sketching all different kinds of imaginative things. Peers in my class use to always come to me and ask if I would sketch them an image or help them create a sculpture, I always new from then on that art and design is a career I wanted to pursuit in. Througt my school years I worked more in 2d design, sketching and painting, it wasn’t into I attended college and was introduced to computer design that I then knew that was the design path I intended to follow.
Computer games are exciting and challenging, brining the user into the game and brining fun and entertainment for hours. I use to sit and wonder how my favourite game was created, and who the masterminds behind it was, a computer game isn’t just a piece of entertainment it is also a piece of art. Technology is improving and so is the graphics on some of the games, making them look even more amazing, I know that one day I want to create some of the art work to contribute to something bigger and better. I love to do things which are challenging and which produce an amazing outcome, so I know that by choosing a game design course it would be right for me.
During my time at college they were many projects I enjoyed, some of my favourite ones included stop motion animation and a quick fly through animation of a city which I created using goggle sketch up. The final outcome was very pleasing and rewarding. They were very simple but these are building steps to help me create something more advanced in game art animation. Some of our projects also included live projects which were fun and gave a insight in what it’s like working in the real world as a designer.
At the moment I currently work in Aunt Bessie’s factory, which has helped me pick up many skills including team building, thinking and planning carefully before acting to help with reducing the chance for costly errors, as well as keeping a steady workflow going. It also involves keeping calm under pressure encase something doesn’t go to plan. These skills can also be converted to the game design industry which also involves a lot of team work and careful thinking and planning.
Outside of my busy schedule of working and studying I enjoy socialising with my friends, this has helped with my social skills and making myself more confident, which will help me in the game design industry by making it more easier to speak to my co workers about decisions or ideas about the project. Drawing and painting is another interest I hold, from drawing images of flowers to character designs, which helps improving my drawing and observational skills. I like to challenge my self so I have took the hobby of teaching my self Spanish, even though at the moment my Spanish language is just basic its still a good skill to have.
Uni. is suppose to be the most exciting time of you life, and I believe by choosing a course that you know you will enjoy and put all your effort into it will create a even better experience, this is why I have chosen to study game design. It is one of the most challenging and rewarding job that anyone could grasp, and I know I will not regret my decision of choosing this course. I hopefully see my self in the future working for one of the top game design industries, and maybe one day I will be sat playing a video game knowing the rewarding feeling that I have took part in creating this amazing piece of mastermind.

UK confirms file-sharing crackdown
UK business secretary Lord Mandelson has outlined an action plan to tackle internet piracy that will see repeat offenders lose their connection to the internet.
Mandelson said he would introduce legislation next month to ensure the worst illegal downloaders of music, film and television would face punishment, in the face of opposition from internet service providers.
He outlined plans to bring in the sanctions in two waves after the passing of new laws, set to be introduced into Parliament next month.
However, the measures are likely to disappoint some people in the industry who have campaigned for quicker action to combat file sharers.
Lord Mandelson said that disconnection could come within a minimum of 15 months of the Digital Economy Bill receiving Royal Assent in April, which would mean that current offenders will not be punished until the end of 2011.

moreResolved Question: Have you heard Bill Gates Comments about General Motors?
At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated “If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon.”
In response to Bill's comments, General Motors issued a press release stating:
If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics:
1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash..........Twice a day.
2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car.
3. Occasionally your car would die on the road for no reason. You would have to pull to the side, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this.
4. Occasionally, executing a manoeuvre such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.
5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable,
Five times as fast and twice as easy to drive, but would run on only five percent of the roads.
6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single 'This Car Has Performed An Illegal Operation' warning light.
7. The airbag system would ask 'Are you sure?' before deploying.
8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.
9. Every time a new car was introduced car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.
10. You'd have to press the 'Start' button to turn the engine off.
11. When all else fails, you could call 'customer service' in some foreign country and be instructed in some foreign language how to fix your car yourself!

moreResolved Question: if the law hates file sharing so much why does technology love it?
heres some technology which was made to help piracy , nero , roxio , alocohol , any dvd , peer guardian , bit torrent , bit comet , and now we have dvd players and lcd tellys which take usb sticks so you dont have to transcode the film anymore to dvd just gets easier and easier whats next seats reserved for those with camcorders in cinemas . moreResolved Question: Need help finding a university course that is right for me? any suggestions?
Ok so I'm just entering my last year at school and I still haven't sorted out my plans for when I finish. I live in scotland now and I am looking for a university in scotland, I quite fancy entering the video game industry when I am older but I have looked at certain courses I think I will enjoy but I keep thinking they will be too hard for me. I have looked at the likes of, computer game technology, computer game design and computer game development but what worries me is that all of these appear to involve programming (not a strong point of mine) I am currently doing advanced higher computing after recently finding out I got a B at higher level computing, the problem is I am only just scraping through the programming and I have to get help pretty much all the time. I think I would be good at thinking of storyline plots and thinking up characters, weapons, and maps but I'm also not very artistic (I am good at drawing little cartoon characters and sketches but I doubt I could produce professonal looking designs) oh and I got a 2 at my standard grade art exam. Does anyone have any course suggestions that I can look out for? help is greatly appreciated!
