Voting Question: What the hell is going on? Is this a revival?

I live directly across from a Jr High and High School that shares a property line in Sacramento. Big schools both of them. I guess school started here in the last couple of days, not sure since I don't have kids and have to work, so I'm not really paying attention. But most of the student body walked out today and gathered in the football and ball fields. It must have been planned because at one p.m. they all went down on one knee and stayed like that for a minute or so. The cops came and the newscrew ( KCBQ ) and I understand they'll be airing that scene tomorrow after editing. Most were wearing some t shirt with a cross on the back and the slogan here comes trouble on it. The chick I saw interviewed said we've had enough and we know enough now to do something like this. At my school, for your senior year you are required to do a senior project. The senior project can be either community service related or something relative to the career field in which you are entering after graduation. I am entering my senior year this year and I have my senior project topic decided. For my senior project I am doing something community service related. There are some schools all around the world that are not doing well financially, therefore resulting in loss of programs within the school such as sports, clubs, etc. My topic i'm focusing on is the loss of music programs, because usually if a school is short on money, the music program is the first to go, and I feel this is a very important program, because this helps you express yourself in your own way and I think we can all agree we all love music. Without the education and expression of learning music, we would no longer have music. As far as the donation portion of this plays in, I am holding a talent show at my school this next year to show people what talent students and or teachers really do have, to prove that a loss of the music program would be quite saddening. My plan is to sell refreshments, baked goods and t-shirts as well at this event to raise even more money towards school music programs because my school in particular is low on financials. I would like to find an online site or someone to donate some simple t-shirts that i'm going to have a slogan on it having to do with music awareness, etc. This goes for a good cause, so if you have any suggestions as to where I could find someone, or an online site or something that will be willing to do this, it would be absolutely wonderful and I will be very greatful ! Resolved Question: Is this work policy stupid? Eveyrone has to wear this shirt on Fridays?

I drive a truck and work at a truck terminal. We do not have uniforms and can dress in jeans and other casual clothes of our choosing. But on Friday's, one of our terminal managers makes us wear a special t-shirt which has a stupid slogan on it about the company. We all were given one t-shirt, and we were instructed to wear this t-shirt every Friday, and Fridays only. Well today was the second week of this new rule. And I forgot to wear the the designanted t-shirt. This manager got really mad and chewed out my immediate supervisor. Do you find this policy a bit strange? I think it is a bizarre policy. My stubborn side wants to show up every future Friday wearing something other than the designated t-shirt. Ordinarily I wouldn't have a problem with this policy.
