I am preparing a portfolio to showcase my work and want to promote my self as a "no rush studio" I copyrighted my slogan of "This studio works on baby time..." This will let people know I cater to each persons' needs. Advertising is the biggest hurdle with only a small of capital to work with. My jackass coworkers have suggested we give away promotional switch-blade style knives bearing the company logo and slogan at an upcoming convention. However, our company has nothing to do with knives or the manufacture of cutlery at all. In fact, the competitive nature of our business often puts us at odds our competitors in the field. On rare occasions, we've even had all-out Gangs of New York style brawls between companies at past conventions. These melees have resulted in broken bones, crushed windpipes, dislocated arms and shoulders, torn ligaments, ruptured appendices, and expensive lawsuits. I'm starting to think a knife isn't such a great idea. Reading sports history as I do, I came across a point of interest in the events surrounding the Ali vs. Foreman match in Zaire, the "Rumble in the Jungle."
