Hi:) Could you look through my writing and correct my grammatical mistakes? It is a part of my coursework. Thank you very much for your help!
"Some key words, slogan, language used or sense of humour can be difficult to understand for different people because of their background. In some countries people have a very specific sense of humour, which is not easily to understand by non-natives speakers. Some advertising may be attractive and funny for some nations, when people form some countries may don’t understand what’s so funny about the same advert even if it is translated into their own language.
As I mentioned before, all different customers have different expectation and if Disneyland decides to expand to one of the Muslim countries like Indonesia, Pakistan or Bangladesh they must consider their range of products and services which they want to provide. For example, they must take into consideration their catering facilities, and they may decide to provide special Muslim halal food restaurants, which will be using use food that have been prepared according to Islamic believes.
All businesses when they are expanding must make sure that they spotted all differences between their home country and a country in which they want to operate and reflected these differences on their marketing campaign in order to be successful on other market and avoid many mistakes, which could be difficult to fix."Thank you!!!!

moreResolved Question: funny slogan translations?
When companies try to sell their products in foreign countries, sometimes their advertising message gets lost in the translation. For example:
-PepsiCo ran an ad campaign in Germany featuring the slogan "the come-alive generation". But in the German translation, the slogan means "the arise-from-the-grave generation". German consumers wondered if Pepsi was some kind of zombie drink.
-Coca-Cola Co. had to change its name in China in 1986 after it discovered that, when spoken in Chinese, its name meant "bite the wax tadpole"
-General Motors Corp. couldn't understand why sales of it's economy car, the Nova, were so bad in Latin America. Finally, GM wised up and realized that in Spanish, "No va" means "no go".
i thought these were really funny. does anyone else know of any other slogans that make an odd translation?
moreResolved Question: Are companies just using the Go Green-fad to their advantage?
I don't want to make a negative out of a positive, but I work at a store where the environmental cause has become like a commercial slogan everywhere I look.
Brands advertising that they're improving their product to be earth friendly, such as Poland Spring's gimmick of slimmer bottles to use less waste
--Funny they don't advertise 2oz less water per bottle (or 48oz for a case.) Bottled-water companies also don't mention that their water is nearly equivalent to what you can get out of a tap and that your only wasting thousands of tons of plastic by buying it in the first place. Something third world countries would be enraged by such un-needed luxury.
And I could go on with dozens of other products I witness abusing the title eco-friendly,
--but I'd like your opinion on if companies really care for making changes or are they turning a cause into a fad by these popular movies and shows out like 11th Hour and An Inconvenient Truth (when 2 years ago they hadn't shown major concern)?
moreResolved Question: advertisements??
Sometimes advertisers get it all wrong. Here are some funny
examples of advertising campaigns that ended up being
entirely inappropriate.
1. Coors put its slogan, "Turn it loose," into Spanish,
where it was read as "Suffer from diarrhea".
2. Clairol introduced the "Mist Stick", a curling iron,
into German only to find out that "mist" is slang for
manure. Not too many people had a use for the "manure
stick".
3. An American T-shirt maker in Miami printed shirts for
the Spanish market which promoted the Pope's visit. Instead
of "I saw the Pope" (el Papa), the shirts read "I saw the
potato" (la papa).
4. Pepsi's "Come alive with the Pepsi Generation"
translated into "Pepsi brings your ancestors back from the
grave", in Chinese.
5. When Gerber started selling baby food in Africa, they
used the same packaging as in the US, with the beautiful
Caucasian baby on the label. Later they learned that in
Africa, companies routinely put pictures on the label of
what's inside, since most people can't read.
6. Frank Perdue's chicken slogan, "it takes a strong man to
make a tender chicken" was translated into Spanish as "it
takes an aroused man to make a chicken affectionate".
7. The Coca-Cola name in China was first read as
"Ke-kou-ke-la", meaning "Bite the wax tadpole" or "female
horse stuffed with wax", depending on the dialect. Coke
then researched 40,000 characters to find a phonetic
equivalent "ko-kou-ko-le", translating into "happiness in
the mouth".
8. When Parker Pen marketed a ball-point pen in Mexico, its
ads were supposed to have read, "it won't leak in your
pocket and embarrass you". Instead, the company thought
that the word "embarazar" (to impregnate) meant to
embarrass, so the ad read: "It won't leak in your pocket
and make you pregnant". OOPS!

The Funniest Staff Meeting Ever!
The boss of a Madison Avenue advertising agency called a spontaneous staff meeting in the middle of a particularly stressful week. (This is one pretty sharp boss!) When everyone gathered, the boss, who understood the benefits of having fun, told the burnt out staff the purpose of the meeting was to have a quick contest. The theme: Viagra advertising slogans.
The only rule was they had to use past ad slogans, originally written for other products that captured the essence of Viagra. Slight variations were acceptable.
About 7 minutes later, they turned in their suggestions and created a Top 10 List. With all the laughter and camaraderie, the rest of the week went very well for everyone! The top 10 were:
10. Viagra, Whaazzzz up!
9. Viagra, The quicker pecker picker upper.
8. Viagra, like a rock!
7. Viagra, When it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight.
6. Viagra, Be all that you can be.
5. Viagra, Reach out and touch someone.
4. Viagra, Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman.
3. Viagra, Home of the whopper!
2. Viagra, We bring good things to Life!
And the unanimous number one slogan:
1. This is your peepee. This is your peepee on drugs
