Resolved Question: Doesn't it just get to you sometimes? The way bad pet food companies advertise?
For example, I see a paid ad (google ad words, I guess) pop up often about Cesar Wet food. Their tagline in the ad says: "High quality protein..." These are the ingredients: Ingredients: Meat by-products, Liver, Poultry by-products, Lamb, Calcium Carbonate, Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Vegetable Gums, Colour, Dried Yam, Natural Flavours, Sodium Nitrite (for colour retention), Vitamins and Minerals, Water sufficient for processing. I have never ever heard of "meat-by-products" being high quality protein. There is nothing (other than the teeny tiny bit of Lamb) that is nutritious for a dog in there. And Cesar, made by the same company that makes Pedigree (Mars, yes the chocolate bar company), is not the only one, it's purina, pedigree, hills/science diet, nutro, royal canin, eukanuba, and iams all claiming to be the best nutrition, when there's nothing farther from the truth. Are there any pet food companies that are honest in their advertising? Is there something that can be done to push the FDA or someone in power to stop these companies claiming to have superior nutrition when they don't? moreResolved Question: In need of a clever tagline or name...?
My cousin and I are heading to Africa for about 3 months to volunteer in a couple of orphanages. Please read this analysis and tell me what you think. I also need a way to end it... Please help. Thanks so much!!! Analysis of Fashion Campaign: K&G Fashion Superstore: “Fashion without the victim” When determining the success of a fashion ad campaign, one has to determine the goal of that campaign. Was it to drive sales for a key item? Was it to stir controversy? Was it to just create a brand image/feeling? Was it to try to increase market awareness and brand exposure? A case in point is the K&G Fashion Superstore chain, owned by Men’s Warehouse Inc. K&G’s point of separation is that it advertises the same brands and styles of clothes as found in other department stores at everyday prices that are up to 60 percent less. To sharpen their distinction between other department stores in this bad economy , K&G Fashion Superstore launched a humorous new advertising campaign that pushed its selections and prices with a tagline — “Fashion without the victim” – The new campaign included television, radio, out-of-home and guerilla tactics to help drive home the point that K&G offers the same styles and brands of clothes as department stores, but at everyday prices that are up to 60% less. One television commercial, entitled “911,” remind you of an actual call to the emergency phone number, but the “victim” is merely a shopper who overpaid for clothing at a department store. The caller claims to have been just robbed by a man who “took my money and all I got was this dress.” A second television commercial takes place in a courtroom where a defendant is suing a department store salesman for selling him an overpriced suit. An insensitive judge tells the defendant that if he’s “stupid enough to pay that, you deserve what you get.” A number of radio spots throw down the gauntlet with the opening line of “Department stores are robbing people every day; so we thought we’d teach them a lesson and rob them back.” In each commercial, an electronically altered voice demands payment from a department store operator for something it feels is valuable or incriminating to the store. Through each plot, listeners are reminded that K&G offers the same designer brands as department stores, but at a much lower cost. The campaign for K&G seeks to make waves because its goal is to “drive awareness” for the K&G brand.please dont answer the question with dumb answers to get points.. please i really do need help... moreResolved Question: Is CIGNA's advertising Tagline another Conservative Codeword.?

http://news.google.com/news/more?um=1&ned=us&cf=all&ncl=d9gfggKC8gwc1vMILKNOLvKmm-MrM Yo quiero Doggy Heaven: Taco Bell icon dies at 15 Post a comment (2) Posted by: Dean Goodman Tags: Fan Fare, Chihuahua, Gidget, Taco Bell, TBWA/Chiat/Day, Yum! Brands Inc Gidget the Chihuahua, who achieved pop-culture immortality in the “Yo Quiero Taco Bell” ad campaigns run by the fast-food outlet in the 1990s, died of an apparent stroke in Santa Clarita, Calif., on Tuesday while watching television. She was 15. US Weekly broke the news on Wednesday, quoting the dog’s owner, Karen McElhatton, as saying Gidget “lived like a queen” and “had a great life.” Taco Bell is a unit of Yum! Brands Inc., whose stock shook off the bad news and rose 30 cents to $33.68 on the New York Stock Exchange. Gidget starred in Taco Bell ads for two years, beginning in late 1997. “She” became a “he” in the spots, which depicted the canine on a quest for Taco Bell fare. The tagline “Yo Quiero Taco Bell” (I want Taco Bell) passed into the lexicon, and Gidget became an instant celebrity. She showed up at movie premieres, on magazine covers, and even at the opening session of the New York Stock Exchange. A toy version sold briskly at Taco Bell’s 6,000 outlets. But the $200 million ad campaign did not do much for Taco Bell sales, and the company dropped Gidget after complaints from franchisees. In 2003, a federal jury in Michigan ordered Yum to pay $30.2 million to a pair of designers who alleged that Taco Bell advertising executives stole their idea for a character called “Psycho Chihuahua” after making a verbal agreement to use the men’s design. Yum had countered that the talking Chihuahua was created by a former ad agency, TBWA/Chiat/Day. moreResolved Question: Please suggest a brief , effective and catchy tagline for a certification body?

Hi everyone, I'm creating an advertising campaign which challenges perceptions and encourages 'pop-in' visits to the National Portrait Gallery. The target market will be people who work or study locally - Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Soho, The Strand, Whitehall etc, especially those who work in the media and creative industries (20-35 years old, culturally aware, young professionals). The National Portrait Gallery's brand personality can best be expressed as the perfect host, the Collection being the embodiment of the perfect party guest list, with the Gallery acting as benign host and master of ceremonies. I need someone to help me come up with a creative call to action for an advertisement that I am designing. My company is a wedding and event design company, called Some Like It Classic - Wedding & Event Design. I use all of the old actors/characters - Marilyn Monroe (Some Like It Hot), Audrey Hepburn, Clark Gable, James Dean, Grace Kelley, etc. I am looking to start advertising in bridal magazines and my advertisement is going to use a single actor... probably Marilyn first, and it will of course have all my company information. My company tagline is Celebrating Tradition with Innovative Design... and I will probably include that at the very bottom of the ad (I have a graphic designer who will design the ad already). I just need someone to come up with maybe 3 good words, or a call to action that I can put as the centerpiece of the ad. The 3 things I want to keep in mind are: 1. Its a wedding planning and design ad, so the client is brides and their mom's 2. I want it to embody Marilyn: she is sexy and classic 3. I want it to be a little edgy... i want to do an entire marketing plan that is positioned as "humorus, amusing and ironic", similar to budweisers talking lizards. also want to use the word "wow", which is the name of the campaign, in a similar sort of way that budweiser uses "whasss up" in one of its most famous campaigns.any ideas for this humourus campaign?any ideas for a funny tagline that includes "wow", any ideas of how to come up with a script for a commerical thats funny, like the ones with the talking lizards?the brand is popular because it is the anti-thesis of fashion in both advertising and design, so any ideas related to doing a very funny, completely non conventional campaign would really be very helpful. thanks alot!the brand is targeting mainly 3 types of people- alternative people (artists etc), tourists (who like it because of the concept of "colors from spain") and young kids (because its colorful). the brand is very colorful (almost slightly tacky), but it works somehow. and i want to do a campaign thats positioned as "humorous, ironic and amusing". any ideas?thans alot! moreResolved Question: Is it funny to you when people say "10 points for best answer!"...?
...as though that is somehow a "new and exciting" incentive? I understand they're trying to market their question and that advertising liberties are few. Still, maybe a fresher tagline would help bring in "answerers." For example, "I'll smother you with my breasts for the Best Answer!" I'm confident that would bring the masses in.Oh, got point "catz." No, I'm sorry everyone, I don't have breasts. I'm a man. And "no," I don't have man-breasts either. It was meant to be said "as an example" of what I'd respond to more than the "want 10 points?" offer.(sp)...not "got"..."good" point. moreResolved Question: Is anyone else here going to watch the "White" series on BBC2 ?
