Resolved Question: Do you like to check out the posters?
to see what's on at the cinema :) http://www.e-forwards.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/sex-in-advertising.jpg moreResolved Question: Help with Train Fares?
Hey, I really need some help, in February 16th I'm going to London Euston to visit my boyfriend, I'm returning on the same day. But the train-line sites are confusing the hell outta me, I dont wanna spend a small fortune going down there for the day. I'd be getting the train from Telford Central - London Euston. There are posters in the train station advertising a return from £40. But on the websites I've seen tickets been sold from anywhere between £11 and £158 !?! Does anybody know how the hell I judge those things or work them out, I dont understand the booking in advance thing, but I dont think I could afford to buy them on the day if theyre gonna fob me off £158 Any help would be greatly appreciated. moreResolved Question: Did Anyone Else See That Poster of ' Patti Smith', and actually thought that was 'Robert Mapplethorpe'?
Oh was that just me,lol. It was advertising his exibition of photographs in the art gallery. moreResolved Question: Minding people's dogs for them, when away?
We are considering looking after people's dogs for them, if they are unable to for holiday/medical etc whatever reason. Now we've looked after friends dogs in the past, but that is it. We are going to advertise by putting a poster up in the dog training classes that I help out at, and letting our dog walker know. We would most probably dog sit at weekends and holidays, as we are out during the week. If we were to mind during the week, then people would have to pay for dog walking, which is £7.50 a day. The dog walker would be happy for us to do this, as we have done it in the past, but that would be up to the dogs owner. Now if we were to just do holidays and weekends, would we need to be vet checked? Is there anything else we'd need to do, and should we charge? Any help/advice from people is welcome. Thanks moreResolved Question: In the poster advertising the film "Nine" in UK, who are the three actresses shown, from left to right?
moreResolved Question: Personal Statement Help Please !! thanks :)?
Below i have my uni personal statement.. if any one could help proof read it for me and make any suggestions i would be most grateful thanks... Why do I want to go on to higher education? Well, ever since I started secondary school at the age of eleven I have always wanted to pursue towards further education at university. Originally I wanted to become a Primary school teacher but since taking part in a lot of work experience in that field, my mind was suddenly made up that that this in fact was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I since have gained a great interest in the marketing industry, and I have come to notice that there are mass opportunities in the market, which has yet to be exploited, and I in the future want to do exactly that. I believe it would challenge my more creative side as well as testing my theoretical skills. I'm particularly interested in the more creative advertising side of marketing and the psychology behind it. I'm very business minded and I have many ideas, which I can expand on in the future. But before I do so I want to be more knowledgeable about the marketing industry, because if I do go into this field of work then I want to know what type of characteristics I need to build on in order to be successful in whatever I do in the future. My auntie is also part owner of a family business, so I have experienced business throughout my life and I believe this has contributed to my passion towards this subject. I have just recently undergone two weeks work experience at my aunties business. Here I helped to create leaflets and posters in order to reach out to the local and wider community. I found this thoroughly interesting and I now want to gain a much deeper insight into the marketing sector in order to pursue a career in the industry in the future. In October I returned from a 2 ½ month voluntary project in Kenya run by a government scheme called platform2. The aim of the trip is to provide 18-25 year olds the opportunity to visit a developing country and get involved with global issues of justice and poverty. Whilst in Kenya I lived with a local family for the ten week duration and worked on an ongoing conservation project in order to help conserve the eco system by improving the livelihoods or communities adjacent to the forest through an environmentally sustainable income. This experience has undoubtedly broadened my perspective of the world. It has been portrayed to me that out in Kenya everyone was trying to help one another get by, they were all in the same boat. Here, most people are trying to just get in their own boat and sail their own course. Over there they know that if they don’t build a boat together, they sink. Volunteering in Kenya in an underprivileged community has undoubtedly developed my life skills and fostered the creativity within me. It has nurtured my ability to be flexible in changing conditions, and adapt and adjust to new environments and cultures. Platform2- ‘Some People wait for change to happen, other people volunteer’ All my experiences have made me keen to broaden my knowledge and given the chance I will do so with full dedication, determination and continuous persistence as I am a motivated, sophisticated and charismatic individual who believes you only get one chance to make a first impression and my recognition would be by accomplishing my objective which is to obtain a degree in the marketing field and make myself realise that I have worked towards my potential which thus will be the basis of my success in the future. moreResolved Question: I need help with my business coursework on my marketing campaign?
i have created an arcade business in alexandra palace and im a small business at the moment. it says i have to do these things Discuss the main ways in which a business can promote and advertise its products and services. Also discuss how legal constraints can affect how it does this. Use examples to illustrate your discussion. Select the sales and advertising promotion methods which you feel are most appropriate for your business. Explain how you plan to use them and why they are the most appropriate for your business. You can also use the findings from your target market and competitor research to justify your choice of promotions. Draft a couple of examples of the promotional materials you will use. For example, design a poster, newspaper advert or a business card promoting your business. Research the possible costs of promoting your business. For example, how much will it cost to place an advert on the side of a local bus, produce 5000 flyers, 200 business cards, or a radio advert? You should include some proof that you have carried out this research eg a table of costs or promotional information from a leaflet printing business. You can use www.trade-print.com to find information on the cost of printing leaflets. Create a budget table showing the cost of each of the individual forms promotion that you have chosen to use and the total cost of your marketing campaign. Evaluate the possible effects that the cost of your marketing campaign and its success would have upon the finances of your business. moreResolved Question: How to find immigrant women to marry.?
First let me start off by saying I do not plan on doing anything illegal. This would be an arguably legit marriage. She would be expected to perform ALL the tradition wifely duties, cook, clean, share in the household expenses and of course share my bed. In exchange she would naturally get supported financially, have a roof over her head, and yes get sponsored for a green card. I have recently looked into some mail order sites, but those agencies charge you and seem like they might be scam. Surely there must be no shortage of women already here in country who would like to marry a young relatively good looking citizen. How do I go about finding them as I am sure they do not wear huge tags around their necks advertising the fact they they are in country illegally. Don't think that I am looking for a slave like some posters have suggested. I think the situation would have plenty of benefits for the woman as well. Not only would she become legal, she would get emotional support in a time and place where she is alone and unfamiliar, a chance to return to her home country and visit relatives without fear of never being able to return etc, etc. the only difference between this and most other marriages would be that instead of vague notions of romance and love we would both be thinking more practically. moreResolved Question: I'm looking for a theme & a title for a staff xmas party for 150 people?

What course do I choose?
Ok, Well, I’m an 18 year old student who is in trouble with choosing what subject to choose to carry on my further studies... Well at the moment I’m studying an National Diploma Media course at college.. (I LUV MEDIA) Ok so my problem is I’m stuck between 2 things I love that’s in Media. Number 1: Marketing and advertising Number 2: Film and Television production Ok well I love both of those. In my class everyone is telling me to do film and TV because I’m like awesome at it and I’m getting very good grades. The problem that I have with film and TV is that it’s a very competitive course and it’s a very big challenge to achieve it in the industry. BUT as I said I’m very passionate about it, and I love it. On the other hand there is marketing and advertising course that I like is well. Well I love the fact that one poster/add can change thousands of people’s minds. Also I know that in marketing I will have a future as it’s not as much as competitive as film and TV. BUT my problem with marketing and advertising is that it’s on the business side and there aren’t that much creative side (no producing) so I don’t like that... So what do I do?? Do I go for film and TV and risk all but follow my heart Or Do I go for marketing and Advertising that has no creativity but has a good future? ? ? apparently, its because its not a fact, just a question they are putting out there...., but the fact every countries own minimum wage is their own business and nothing to do with the EU does not seem to affect their campaign in any way.....are political voters not subject to the same advertising standards as everyone else, do they honestly think we're that stupid?Irish, if you think membership of the EU has nothing to do with Irish jobs than you are sadly mistaken, the only reason we're not bankrupt like Iceland is because of our membership and currency..Our boom was based on a number of things, one of which is we're an English speaking country in the EU with the € as our currency, which was very attractive to investors before we priced ourselves out of the market, but thats changing again. I'll see if I can google one of the posters so you can see what I mean.http://www.davidcochrane.ie/2009/08/coir-lisbon-posters-are-up/Our unemployment rate went up over 70% since the last referendum, but that was nothing to do with the no vote, it was to do with sub prime lending in the US and beyond. My question is why is the question mark there at all, why stir, why present something that reads as a fact, not a question? Political game stirring, thats all it is?EMD2025...The EU has NOTHING to do with any individual country minimum wage with the EU, and what's more, its got nothing to do with this treaty either, so don't even begin to imagine this issue has anything to do with this vote. so why mention it? moreResolved Question: can you help??charity fundraiser?

Melbourne, June 25 (ANI): Owing to a rather 'ironical' ad campaign, an Amsterdam hotel, which claimed to be 'the worst hotel in the world', has become a huge hit with travellers in the city. The campaign, by advertising agency KesselsKramer, paints the Hans Brinker budget hotel in Amsterdam as dirty, uncomfortable and lacking basic necessities such as beds. Although the advertisers promoted the hotel in dog poo, the 650-bed hotel is attracting customers in large numbers and runs at around 80 per cent occupancy even in the low season. The hotel's success is fully attributed the advertising campaign, which "takes honesty to the extreme" and are "revered and reviled in equal measure", said the company's website. The ads promote the hotel as "similar to hell, but without proper heating". Dave Bell, Creative Director and Partner at KesselsKramer, said that the hotel has found a unique selling-point. "Everybody is always trying to be the best, but there are merits in being the worst. May be more people should strive to be the worst at something, when you're the worst you have a lot more room to be creative and do your own thing," News.com.au quoted Bell as saying. In a YouTube video, the hotel promotes itself as "accidentally eco-friendly"- having a lack of services such as cleaning and elevators that are out of order means it uses less energy. "The Hans Brinker budget hotel has been helping the planet, unintentionally, since 1970," said one advertisement. "Here is a hotel where the light bulbs don't work. A hotel whose showers have less hot water than is standard. Where elevators stay out of order for days. And whose vacuum cleaners' buttons are rarely switched on," the hotel said in the YouTube video. "To lessen our impact on the environment staff do as little as possible for guests. An eco-elevator ensures that the only energy spent going to the room is your own," said a poster. "Leave the towel on the rack. We won't wash it. Leave the towel on the floor. We still won't wash it," said another poster. moreResolved Question: Good advertising ideas?
Heey, I've been asked to come up with posters advertising a new Nike fitness website, aimed at students and business men/women. I have an idea for both and was wondering if i could get some feedback - what you think, would you would change etc. Thanks :] For the students - Three students at school on computers, two end ones are wearing uniforms and the middle is in a Nike sports kit. They have their backs facing us so the audience doesn't see what they are doing on the computers, but assume the middle is using the Nike site. I hope i haven't explained it too badly, i just liked the symmetrical layout and thought it could be simple yet effective. Business men/women - A male behind a desk in an office, top half he's wearing a suit jacket, shirt and tie. his feet are on the desk and is wearing football boots, socks and shorts. the computer is open in front of him. Slogan reads "Bringing fitness to you" (Or something similar) Ok thanks :] By the way it's only for college, i'm not a professional lolWow i love the 2nd idea, although i'm meant to be doing posters not an advert, although if i were i'd definitly use that! :] moreResolved Question: Need help with the name of a film theres posters around town advertising it,?

i'll give out best answer, just make the paragrah appear different somehow. I have put a character acting as a dead person with blood every where on my poster. It is appropriate because it really for people who are 18 and over. My target audience would find it more interesting and enjoyable than someone younger than that age because they might find too scary maybe just looking at it once. I would advertise it on popular channels like ITV, BBC and Channel 4 and 5.the magazine I would put it in is Heat Magazine and OK Magazine. I would have the stars interviewed on Entertainment Tonight TV Show and The Radio Station I would have them would be Radio 1 on a Friday afternoon and Capital Radio. I Would Invite People like Halle berry, Will Smith and Steven Spielberg to the premiere. The reason I would invite them is because they are well known famous people and probably people who would like a unique thriller story. This tells my target audience that this film must good for those people to come. moreResolved Question: Who can help me with this project?

Hi there I need a little help clearing up a memory I have from childhood. I was walking by a video rental shop in the 80's ( i think late 80's) and I saw a window grabber ( the plasticy things that stick to windows without it being sticky) advertising a Freddy Kruger nightmare on elm street film. Now that's normal, but in my mind I seem to see him with all different implements on his hand and not just knives, like a skewer prongs etc. Now did my immature little mind get scared and make more of the poster and it was just a normal Freddy with knives or is that a real thing? Cheers, hope that made some sense lol p.s I love horror movies now www.myspace.com/lipstattoodesignsHell yeah Freddy was out in the 80's it's a classic.
