Open Question: How can I stop search related advertisements on my browser?
I've noticed recently on my brower (Firefox) that the advertisement that appear within a page such as FoxNews are directly what I was searching for recently. Such as if was were looking for a pair of shoes, all the sudden there were be several different shoe advertisements. Same with cars, I was shopping for a specific car and suddenly I began seeing various similar cars advertisements. NOTE: These are NOT pop-ups, but found within or on the side of pages I'm reading. Is there a way to block or stop my searching/shopping information from being used to target me for advertising?

I saw an adverstisement in the news paper acting and modelling opportunities. It's today but I'm unsure whether or not it's a scam or not. The ad reads as follows:
"Have you always wondered how people get into Sears catalogues, Zellers flyers, McDonalds TV commercials, movies, magazine ads, music videos and more? It's no secret - many of those people got their start by attending a Starast search. The film an advertising industry is booming. Scouting all looks, shapes, sizes, and ethnicities. I'm confused about whether or not this is a scam.
There are some things that lead me to believe that it is a scam... but I'm not sure.
1. They're bascially saying they're looking for everyone. (We're desperate!)
2. You can easily be refunded if you're not selected. (You won't be refunded. We choose everyone! Why not? We get some money and then, if an opportunity arises that you;re perfect for, we'll send you in)
3. They have an advertisement (we're desperate again...and unprofessional?)
4. They give a whole buch of popular stores
moreOpen Question: Is it illegal to advertise something you can't actually sell/give to a customer?
I work in a hotel and on our website we advertise a certain tour (give the details and say starting from select price) but that's it. However we recently stopped doing the tour but it hasn't been removed from the site. A couple of people have called in but once they were told that it wasn't offered they simply said too bad, but one guy kept yelling on the phone insiting that it is illegal to have it on the site if we don't offer it (which sounds bogus to me) and that we therefore owe him something for false advertisement. Does anyone know anything about advertising law? We're located in Canada and privately owned.

moreVoting Question: Can I sue, my college on these terms?
I am asking if i can sue my college,
It is a private college, It is called Fortis College its in Ravenna, Ohio.
I am going there for welding.
The reason i ask if i can sue them is because, I think i am being taken advantage of,
#1. The college is understaffed there are currently 2 instructors there. that teach around 50-55 students in the welding course. the night class has about 25-30 students with 2 teachers, Also There are 5 diffrent classes in the night classes. each one is in a different semester/mod.
#2 So there are 2 teachers teaching 5 different things to 5 different classes. On top of this, since there are only 2 teachers we are all in the shop. at one given time. and the shop is about the equivalent to a two car garage. Which most of the space is taken up by about 10 Stick/tig and mig machines plus a 4 person burning table, and around 4-5 two full sized cylinder carts of oxygen and acetylene, there is also a horizontal ban saw, and table mounted grinding wheels on a table that is approximatively 12x12 feet.
#3. the course i am taking was falsely advertised, they promised things that they are unable to teach such as a 6G certification. I have People that were also promised the same thing.
With all that being said, i want to sue for (#1) inadequate learning environment, (#2) unSafe Learning environment (over populated in such a small space) And (#3) False advertisement.
What i want in return is the return of my tuition in full, and some money compensating my time wasted.
I have no idea if what i stated is grounds for me to sue them successfully, if so please tell me and also if there is anything else i can sue them for please let me know
Thank you For your time.@redgator
I do not know what you are talking about,
This is the first time i have ever posted this.@ssmesq
This incident just happened,
around 1 month ago, I have never seen any college inspectors come in, this school also hired a teacher that couldnt read proficiently about 3 months ago, and it took them 2 months to finally fire him, i have stayed because, 1 the head instructor of the welding department keeps promising things that are not delivered like promised, and now i am fed up with it all.
I am not failing, i have around a c-b average i use to have a 4.0
And i don't think this is the time to ask for my money back, i am 4 months away from graduating, I'm already around 10-13 thousand in the hole, when i first started this school and around 10 people in the night class, and they are still bringing people in.
Nothing i said here is entirely false, Some things are though approximate, in the size of the lab for example, there are more students in there then there should be, anyone can see its a safety hazard many things could go wrong in a welding shop environment.

moreResolved Question: Is it me, or is TV so damn annoying that it's unwatchable?
The constant unending excessive advertising, the deliberate increase in volume of that advertising on the weekends, the constant Geico and Progressive commercials....multiple stations showing the same damn movies over and over again, TBS only showing the same 30 Seinfeld shows over and over again each and every day of the week....man, how the hell can ANYONE even watch TV anymore?? And when I do watch it, when commercials come on....I just turn the station. But on weekends you can go through 5-6 stations and they're ALL playing commercials at the same time!! And the worst part? You can't do a damn thing about it. You can't even send these stations an email to complain. It's pathetic. And some stations, like Ion, MTV, Sleuth, ABCF....man, I have no idea on this Earth how they can get away with playing 12 minutes worth of commercials the way they do. Some of these stations play so many damn advertisements, you could take your car out for gas, come back, and then MAYBE the program will be back on. And remember about 3-4 years ago, when the FCC stated they were going to limit excessive commercial advertising on radio and TV? Well someone over there got paid off, because it never happened. I even emailed them a couple times in the past few years, and they never bothered to respond. Everyone who reads this....spread the word. When commercials come on, change the channel. Each station can tell how many people are viewing....show them that you're SICK of them beaming harassing commercials into your living room by changing the channel whenever a commercial comes on. Show them that we're sick and tired of OUR communication system being totally CORRUPTED by excessive advertising and GREED!!!!
moreResolved Question: Commercial Contracts. Can someone answer this question for me? Its for a Commercial Contracts University paper?
Question One
Pris advertises her Porsche 911 for sale in the newspaper. Leon, a recent commerce graduate, answers the advertisement and inspects the car. Although Leon is handsomely rewarded as a member of the auditing staff of Nomosake Hobbes he is unable to pay the asking price. However he is optimistic of arranging a loan through his parents. He does not want to commit himself but wants to tie Pris down while he takes time to think the matter over. Pris types up a letter on her stationery which reads,
“I, Pris, hereby offer to sell my Porsche 911, registration number ZXY 6166, to Leon for the sum of $100,000. This offer may be accepted by letter sent to my office at Mission Bay, and if so accepted shall be deemed to have been effected at the time the letter would ordinarily be delivered.
I also undertake not to sell the car to any one else before Wednesday 7th July 2010.”
Both Pris and Leon sign the letter.
Leon, after checking his bank balance and obtaining a loan from his doting grandmother, decides to accept Pris’s offer. The post office is experiencing a go slow by its employees so Leon decides to fax his acceptance.
He sends a fax to Pris’s office on Friday 2nd at 6 pm. But unknown to Leon Pris has already left for the weekend.
The following morning, Saturday, Leon posts a confirmatory letter.
In the meantime Zora, a friend of Pris offers her $99,500 for the car. As Pris has not yet heard from Leon she accepts Zora’s offer on Sunday afternoon. That afternoon she phones Leon and tells him she is withdrawing her offer. Leon tells her of the fax and the letter. He demands the car. Pris refuses.
On Monday morning Pris checks her fax machine and reads Leon’s acceptance. Later that morning Pris receives the letter in the mail.
Analyse each stage of the scenario in terms of offer and acceptance and advise Leon whether he has a valid claim against Pris.

moreVoting Question: Do US Golden Dollars Contain Gold? Do Silver Dollars Contain Silver?
After reading another question posted on a different site, I am now wondering if US golden dollars contain real gold? I have always assumed that the coins were minted using real gold and thus the value of the coin can actually never decrease because of it containing actual gold & thus could be melted down if the US dollar ever actually did fall?
I am asking in regards to the Presidential golden dollars as well as the ones created before than from the 90's I believe (I think Sacagawea was on them).
As I am asking this question I might as well ask about silver dollars too; do silver dollars contain silver?
If neither coins contain real gold or silver I don't understand why they are falsely advertised as they are. I've been stocking up on golden dollars for a few years now because I believed they were being minted in a weight of gold equal to the value of the US dollar the year(s) they're minted, and since the economy has declined in the US I thought this was a smart decision to prevent poverty in case the US dollar ever fell through - the US dollar is just paper afterall - since I'd have gold I'd still technically have money worthwhile?
I hope I get a thorough reply/answer to these questions as well as the weight of gold & silver in each coin if they do contain these precious elements (gold & silver). I was driving yesterday and a commercial came on the radio advertising Chinese gold coins being minted by the US mint (officially authorized by Chinese government) with each being sold for $99.95 - such an advertisement scared me because of the rumors of China's economy rising so rapidly and speculations of US being ran by China (new world order conspiracy); it's VERY ODD to me that our mint is creating CHINESE coins.

moreResolved Question: Why are adoption ads (and PAPs) responsible for adoption?
I recently asked a question about why APs are the "bad guys" in adoption. I pointed out that the decision is made by the expectant mother without any input or involvement from the PAPs.
One of the answers claimed that adoptions would not occur if it were not for the adoption agencies' ads.
Again, I ask why the ads and PAPs are responsible?
We are all faced with advertisements every day. Are we not responsible for our debt when we were enticed to use credit cards by credit card ads? Is a drunk driver not responsible for hurting others just because alcohol is advertised? Smoking is advertised, but not everyone smokes. Isn't it our responsibility to exercise judgment in making our decisions and resist ads when they are not in our best interest?
Just to be clear, I am not bashing birth mothers in any way and I am not referring to birth mothers in the past who were faced with bad laws and extreme coercion. I understand that horrible practices in the past took advantage of expectant women. There is no excuse for that and no way to compensate these poor victims.
Also, today's birth mothers are making a terribly difficult decision that they believe to be in the best interest of their child. I am not trying to bash them in any way.
I just don't understand why today's PAPs are to blame, when they don't participate in any of the decisions. (PAPs get involved at the tail end of the process after the expectant mother calls the agency and makes an adoption plan. All PAPs do is put together a booklet for the expectant mother to review AFTER those steps are taken.)
Before you give another "supply and demand" argument, please remember Economics 101. Eliminating demand does NOT eliminate supply. It just affects price. In addition, adoption is not a true capital market where the true supplier (ie, the birth mother) is directly motivated by profit.@ Rosie, adoption is not a true capital market. In puppy mills, the supplier of the puppies (not just the pet store) is motivated by profit. The supplier sells puppies to the pet store for a profit and the pet store sells to the public for a profit. If customers stop buying at the pet store, there is no profit for the pet store and, in turn, there is no profit for the puppy suppliers. Nothing motivates the supplier to continue to supply puppies. This is why supply and demand will seek equilibrium.
In adoption, the agency earns a profit. So they may go out of business if demand slackens. However, the supplier (the birth mother) does not sell her child to the agency for profit. (That would be a felony) She is not motivated by profit. Therefore, the loss of profit will not affect supply.
I don't know why you need to broadcast that you have an advanced degree. So do most of us. WTH?@ Sunny, in the last two days, there have been two women who have talked about relinquishing without an agency. One used the safe haven law and the other is seeking a non-agency adoption. Just more evidence that supply exists outside of agencies and independent of agencies' marketing efforts.
On another, humorous note: Your assumptions about me are waaay off base. For example, why would I have disgust for women who can produce their own children when I am one of them myself? In fact, it is a little too easy for me. lol
I have tremendous respect and admiration for birth mothers. I just don't have disgust for PAPs and APs like you do.

I once asked what was the difference was between the over the counter morning after pill and the prescription morning after pill. The prescription is stronger and more effective.
In America why are women required to have PAP Smears (that are only 80% effective, more likely to be a false positive, that require painful biopsies that scar the cervix causing miscarriages when cervical cancer is just as rare as penile cancer) in order to get birth control.
If such a violating procedure wasn't required and more women were on birth control and had access to the morning after pill (Last year the pill cost $75) That both abortion and infant adoption decreased. Would the government funding be to prevent unplanned pregnancy or would it still aid in advertising private adoption. I built a custom scenario and right now I have about 1900 guests with a park rating of 985. For some reason, I can't keep guests in my park. If I advertise, my guests count can go up to about 2100, but after the advertisement is over, the guests slowly start leave and I go right back down to 1900. If I build new rides no new guests come. If I build new rides and advertise together, same thing happens--guests come at first, but than it goes right back down to 1900. I can even use a trainer to bring trams of people to my park, but it will still go back down.
I faced this same problem in RCT1, but I finally found out that I was actually at the maximum amount of sprits for the game (5000 sprits). And so it was impossible to get more guests. But RCT2 has a maximum of 8000, of which I'm no where close, so that shouldn't be a problem. Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to make my guest count go up, and stay up.
Also, I don't know if this is because it's a custom scenario, but I don't get the messages that say "Guests are complimenting that your entry price is really cheap, raise the price" or reversely "Your entry price is too high." Because of how much I played RCT1, I have a feeling of how much to raise the price per ride, but I can only guess. Thank you!
moreResolved Question: Using 2010 Camaro for advertisement purposes?
Hey Yahoo! users!
How effective do you think it would be to use a 2010 Chevy Camaro for advertisement purposes?
My beef with traditional TV commercials is that so many people record shows and fast-forward through commercials, or just change channels when commercials come on. So, companies are spending money on advertisements that aren't even being seen!
But what if the advertisement was presented in a way that people *wanted* to look at it, i.e. a flashy car such as a Camaro? I myself always gawk when I see a Camaro on the road or in a parking lot, and as far as I can tell, so does pretty much every other guy (and some girls). To me, it seems like the Camaro would be a perfect means for advertisements. People already look at the car, so painting it in corporate colors and using catchy slogans would expose the company to many people. Plus, the Camaro is cheap (relatively) compared to commercials: 30,000 compared to (potentially) millions.
Anyways, that's my thoughts on the matter? What do YOU think? Would using a 2010 Chevy Camaro be a good way to promote a company or advertise specific products?

Do you think that commercial broadcasters use their current affairs progams (today tonight and a current affair) to build up trust and fear by presenting things we "want or need" to see or here to bring out our fear and to make us trust them because the revealed something "news breaking" like for example the pedophiles in our communities?
do they then misuse our trust and fear so we trust them when we view advertisements during their programming?
or do they genuinely think that the public is desperate to know what homebrand milk tastes better?
moreResolved Question: How much payment should I ask for in this art job?
I work at a job where I draw advertisements for the seasonal drinks every month at my store. I am very skilled at drawing on the whiteboard, and I get compliments every day along with the drink being advertised being sold more than before. I have decided to write a letter to the corporate headquarters asking to draw on all the other store's whiteboards and be compensated for it. (A total of about 13 stores.)
How much should I ask for compensation when writing to corporate?
moreResolved Question: A short story: Final Stop?
I wish I knew how many times I've read this piece... haha.
Final Stop
Leaning against the metal railing, I glance down at my cell phone, 7:23. The train should be here soon. On this humid summer’s night, the light rail station is rather empty. A mother holds the hand of her small child by the sign advertising one of the city’s more popular restaurants, Ellington’s. The advertisement pictures a happy couple, toasting to something— perhaps the luxury of a night for just the two of them. They look almost too happy, as if they’ve been slipped too many anti-depressants. No one is that happy, not in this small town, at least.
Sitting on the wood bench by the ticket booth, an elderly man rests his tired eyes. A few teenage girls chatter amongst themselves at the far end by the vacant tracks. One seems dangerously close to the edge, just past the yellow line, the one that you’re supposed to be behind while the train approaches. My mind wanders, as my lucid imagination shows the girl tripping backwards over the edge just as the train barrels through as it slows, splattering the walkway with blood, just like that movie “Final Destination” – I love movies. But then I snap out of it. I have a vividly evil mind like that sometimes. I close my eyes and take a deep breath, and take in my sacred moment of solitude. A few minutes of my treasured bliss— my thinking time —is all I need, all I could have for now, as the slight breeze signals the approaching train. The distant horn blare sounds suddenly, causing my heart to race a bit. The breeze from the engine flies past— it’s close now —and it feels good, washing away the humidity for a moment. Finally, the doors swing open and we begin boarding the train.
“Welcome and thank you for using the official light rail of Virginia’s Transit Association. Please take a seat and keep your ticket in hand; the attendant will be coming around shortly,” says a voice over the intercom system. Gripping my ticket, I place it in my pocket for safekeeping. I scan the train for an open seat, a window seat. To my dismay, the only seat is one bordering the aisle. I look around for friendly faces, noticing a few people my age. A girl who looks like she just got off work. An elderly woman with some department store bags. An eerie man with dreadlocks, wearing a Yankees cap and drinking something wrapped in a paper bag. An older man in the back with a hoody drawn over his head. With no choice but to otherwise stand, I sigh and take the seat next to the old woman. I place my bag beneath my seat, situate myself into a comfortable position, and slowly drift into a shallow, foggy nap.
“And how are you today, young lady?” The question startles me awake, fogginess, huh? I open my eyes, look to my right to see the man with the dreadlocks. His greasy locks escape through the holes in his Yankee’s cap. His lips are still moist from the last drops from his mystery drink, and pungent like cigarettes and cough drops. His eyes are dilated with euphoric mystery.
A bit dazed and confused, I look around the car— almost everyone has reached their destination and departed the train, except for the sleeping elderly man in the back. Wearing his hoody, he sleeps soundly. Maybe I dreamt somebody was talking to me? But he seemed to be looking back at me, as if anticipating some sort of response. Before muttering even the simplest response, my shy finger points to myself, and he does a quick nod raising his eyebrows and giving a tight, wide goofy smile, confirming his request for human interaction. Did he not see my eyes were closed?
“I’m good, thanks,” says my sleepy voice, as I slid across the seat towards the window.
He slips into the aisle and next to me in my seat. He looks into my eyes like the Cheshire cat with a big grin, as if he’s looking for diamond tear drops. I try to stay calm, but my eyes open wide, as I press myself back against the window, panic spreading paralyzing fear through my limbs. I’m wide awake now.
“Your eyes,” he begins with a whisper, “your eyes are quite brown for green eyes.”
I’m baffled. I guess the mystery drink is working magical wonders on this man. As my heart rate subsides, I figure maybe he’s a harmless drunk, but I continue to keep up my guard. Smiling, I give the tweaked eyebrow “you’re crazy” expression, but I realize that he’s waiting for some sort of reply.
“Oh… well… thank you?” I pause to search for the right words, “you have pretty eyes, too?” I say reluctantly, feeling a bit goofy having a conversation with a creepy, crazy man on a train.
The sheer thrill of my compliment rushes through him, brightening his day. He relishes in the idea of receiving a compliment, but after a few minutes of silence, the smile begins to fade and round two begins.
“So, where are you headed this evening?” he says. During this short time, he’s developed a comfortable relation with me. Unfortunately for him, it’s not mutual.
My clammy right palm clencMy clammy right palm clenches my clammy left. I suddenly feel uneasy and pretend not to hear him. He catches on, scrunches his eyebrow and repeats his question, “Where are you headed, young lady? It seems a bit late for you to be out alone!”
What is he looking for here? Is he a sexual deviate? An escaped lunatic? A drunken paranoid schizophrenic? A caring stranger? DING, the voice on the PA system announces my stop is only two away. Next stop in five minutes.
“I’m off to the movie theater,” I say quickly, hoping he takes note of my short answers.
“I see, I see. I was thinking about going tonight.”
I nod my head; count the seconds until my stop.
He inches closer to me, “So what film are you seeing?”
“I’m not sure,” I utter before biting my bottom lip and moving closer to window. At this point, he’s trapping me in my seat, like a hostage. I hope and pray the old man in the back is actually alive and, if I’m really lucky, an ex-marine who will rescue me.Helloooo, strange old guy, come help a girl out, pleeease. Be a good Samaritan who will wake up soon!
“Well,” he pauses to cough into his sleeve, “maybe I should join you. We could see that new comedy with what’s his name, uh—”
Terrified, I pretend to take a call, “Um, yeah, sure. I’m getting a call… sorry, I have to take this.”
Without hesitation, he responds, “Who is it? Your boyfriend? I bet a beautiful girl like yourself has the boys lining up and down the street,” he says with a laugh, coughing, wet and phlegm, like a homeless guy with emphysema.*homeless man with emphysema.I ignore him and begin speaking to the invisible identity on the other side of the phone conversation. “Oh, hey, I was waiting for you to call me back. How have you been?” I listen to the sounds of silence and, every once in a while, I ask another question. “I heard you just got back from a trip, how’d that go?” As silence begins to share her story of a trip to the beach, the identity in my seat— blocking me in —remains patient.
I look at him from the corner of my eye, and he smiles back, creepily tapping his wrist, glancing towards the back of the car and back to me.
I shrug my shoulders, as he inches closer and places his sweaty, left palm on my hand. My breathing stops, my speaking stops, but my heart beats faster. With his right hand, he forms a tight grasp around my right hand and my cell phone.
I’m numb. I’m frightened. I’m petrified. He slowly closes my cell phone, ending my call with silence. I’m trembling inside and out, but he strokes my hand— his attempt at keeping me calm and quiet. Frantically, I search for help from anybody on the train, but fear blinds me— I’m on my own.
DING! PA system announces our arrival, as the train begins to decelerate.
“So come on, my treat, let’s catch that movie,” he says gingerly, yet nervously, glancing back at the old man sleeping in his hoody covered head. It’s as if considering whether or not the old man will be able to ID Mr. Dreadlock once my beaten and butchered body is discovered in the river the next day.
I don’t answer. I can’t answer. He draws his arms back and subtly returns to his normal sitting position. Still bewildered and confused, we look at each other. His eyes, once dilated with mystery, are now dilated with sadness; mine with trepidation. He suddenly seems sober. As the train comes to a stop, the doors swing open. I notice a young woman around the age of the mysterious stranger waving and smiling on the landing. Mr. Dreadlock looks back at me, as he leaves the car, smiling that Cheshire cat grin and hugging his girlfriend, swinging her around jovially. Huh? I’m confused and relieved, as the doors close and the train begins to pull away from the station.
DING! Next stop is my stop, 10 minutes. My mind and body are exhausted from the excitement. Mind gets foggy, eyes heavy…..as a hand firmly covers my mouth from behind....Now that was obnoxious to do. Haha, comments?Aw guys, don't give me all the credit; most of it belongs to G Love. All I did was write a rough draft of the story and put in the some punctuation. G did all the imagery and all the amazing stuff. Haha, I just posted this piece because I couldn't post my edits on G's question... apparently, my answer was too long.
Still, I'm glad you guys enjoyed it, but really, give the praise to G. :)P.S. UnKnown, I'm fourteen. If any fourteen-year-old can write like this on their own, well, I'd be just as shocked as you are. Haha, I do my own writing, too, but it's never anything like this.G, writing this wasn't obnoxious at all; it was the posting it that was obnoxious. I hate how they limit the number of characters that I can use. I mean, some people talk a lot (cough cough us cough cough) so we need extra characters.
Haha, but you've convinced me on the humor/informality points. I think I'm going to put them back into the piece and save a copy on my computer. You know, years from now, I want to be like, "Hey, remember when we wrote this? Yeah, that's the summer that we spent all of our time on the computer." Haha, at least it paid off for *says in a dramatic voice* Ashlyn Valentino. :)
P.S. No matter what you say, in my mind, you still deserve most of the credit.P.P.S. For our next story, it needs to be something... different. We should hit all the genres. The first was mystery and the second can be whatever pops into our minds. Start thinking!

moreResolved Question: Can home owners in Illinois sue me if I refuse to close on the house?
I tried to buy a house in Illinois but had so many problems with the real estate agent and the home owners. I brought home inspection to inspect the house and found several problems. The homeowners said that they would fix everything before closing. Closing came and they didn't fix anything. Later in the month they said they fixed everything now (second closing time). We brought a home inspector again and the home inspector said they didn't fix anything again. So later the owners made a deal with me and they would give money instead of fixing it, so I agreed. Just before closing the owners said they want to take the bar from the house claiming it is movable object. But the bar was listed in the flyer of the house, which is false advertisement. My own stupid lawyer who already took money in advance claims that the owners are right and they can move any object movable. So I got fed up and refused to go along with closing the house. I told my lawyer I don't want to house anymore, because they are playing games. Now they want to sue me for damages? Don't I have the right to sue them for trying to steal the bar (false advertising)? That is also a crime for attempted robbery. I am the one who should sue for damages not them. I lost my 8 thousand dollars from the government because of the owners. I lost lawyer fees, and real estate fees. They have the nerve to sue me?Yes the bar was listed as part of the house plus they have pictures and they even told me it is part of the house at open houseChris, How can they take the bar even if it is movable and it is listed as part of the house? Are you kidding me? So you would enjoy being ripped off?The bar is movable. But so what it was listed as part of the house. Once something is listed as part of the house it is illegal to remove it.I can also press (criminal charges) attempted robbery against the real estate agent, owners and their lawyer for trying to take the bar. This is deceptive practive for their lawyers part. First he said the bar will stay, now he says owners can take it. Sounds like a hippocrite to me.The purchase agreement are extra things that should stay in the house such as refrigerator, washer dryer etc... Not things that are listed in the ad or flyer of the house. That would be very stupid if they can take anything not listed in the purchases agreement. You don't need to list things that are already part of the house as advertised. That would be a misleading. If they have the legal right to take the bar, Why did they even mention it to my lawyer to tell me? That means they know it is illegal. If they have the right to take the bar, then they should of kept quite until closing.
