July 30th, 2010 | Author: admin Kamal Karna Roy PDF Print E-mail Kamal Karna Roy (also known as Kamal K.K. Roy and Rev. Dr. Joseph Geronimo, Jr.) is a prolific pro se litigant who, since at least the early 1990s, has filed numerous lawsuits throughout the United States and its territories under the names Roy and Joseph Geronimo, Jr., as well as under the names of entities that he is affiliated with, including International Siva Consciousness & World Religions, Reforms International, Handicap Interests International, and Jungle Democracy. Roy’s lawsuits are often brought against multiple defendants, and feature long, unconventional complaints. Roy has filed lawsuits against God, U.S. Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, fast food restaurants, foreign leaders., and . Roy’s lawsuits have addressed, among many other things, actions taken by President George W. Bush, overcharging by telecommunication companies, the appointment of Chief Justice John Roberts to the Supreme Court, and “failure of democratic societies and God’s role therein.” In 2006 Judge Michael W. McConnell of The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit described a typical Roy complaint: Roy, a/k/a Joseph Geronimo, Jr. filed a 115-page complaint, a 144-page amended complaint, and a 40-page second amended complaint against over sixty defendants, including among many others President Bush, God as U.S.-based divine benefactor, several government agencies, The New York Times, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. In addition to pages of rambling discourse, the complaint contains numerous illegible handwritten remarks. The Tenth Circuit went on to affirm the dismissal of the complaint holding that no discernible claim was apparent from the complaint. Judge McConnell also humorously noted that the court “strongly suspect at least one defendant was not properly served.” Most, if not all, of Roy’s complaints have been dismissed. A 2006 United States District Court for the District of Delaware opinion, Jungle Democracy v. U.S., describes Roy as “no stranger to litigation” and provides a partial list of Roy lawsuits that have been dismissed since 1991. Despite Roy’s lack of success in the courts, his lawsuits have been discussed in law school classrooms and in law related blogs. In April 2007 Roy filed a civil rights action against, among others, CBS Broadcasting Inc., MSNBC, the United States Government, and controversial radio shock jock Don Imus. In October 2007, Roy filed a suit in the US District Court, Middle District of Florida, against ” Encyclopedia, USA, All News Media, All State Board of Elections, Federal Election Commission”. The media is hiding this very important news. ML, Jack They Are Purposely Killing the Gulf The private, foreign International Monetary/Banking Cartel controls its puppets in Washington as it controls its oil company executives. And everything the Cartel does is anti-life, there are absolutely no exceptions; and their pretended Gulf oil clean-up is a glaring case in point. Instead of cleaning up the unprecedented catastrophe created by the Cartel’s mega-corporations (Halliburton, Transocean, and British Petroleum), these very same companies are purposely killing our Gulf of Mexico, under the pretense of cleaning it up. Instead of using safe, non-toxic ways to gather up the rogue oil gushing from their incompetence, or planned cataclysm, the private Cartel is using an extremely toxic chemical dispersant, with the approval of the Obama administration. Alan Levine, the head of Louisiana’s Department of Health and Hospitals, said: “We don’t have any data or evidence behind the use of these chemicals in the water. We’re now basically using one of the richest ecosystems in the world as a laboratory.” As reported in Britain’s Telegraph, Louisiana state Secretary of the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Robert Barham reported: “We’re very disappointed in their [EPA and oil company executives] approach. The federal procedures call for a consensus between federal authorities, the responsible party and the states involved. When we met and expressed our concerns [over the use of dispersants] , apparently they decided to go without us.” And go they did. Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency allowed BP to turn our Gulf of Mexico into a toxic testing ground, instead of removing the crude oil. British Petroleum (BP) has even refused to use their own oil tankers, lying in the Gulf, to suck up most of the runaway oil, and possibly salvage it for sale later, as was done after a Saudi spill in the ‘90’s. That method was so successful, it vacuumed up about 85 percent of that renegade oil. Nick Pozzi, a former oil pipeline engineering and operations project manager is puzzled why BP did not salvage perfectly good crude oil for later sale, and to thereby protect marine and wildlife. What Mr. Pozzi does not know is the oil companies are owned by the world’s only legal counterfeiters – the International Monetary/Banking Cartel - who can “print” all the money they want, so making money on Gulf oil was not important to them. Killing the Gulf of Mexico is, apparently, important to them, for their own cryptic and esoteric reasons. If the Cartel had wanted to save marine life, any oil they had not vacuumed up could have been mulched with any number of non-toxic materials, such as “Oil Sponge,” a name trademarked by Phase III, Inc. Rated as the “best performing” absorbent by the US Army Corp of Engineers, Oil Sponge is 100% organic, and is made from renewable resources. Oil Sponge is built using a microbial and nutrient package, capable of transforming oil hydrocarbons into a safe bi-product of carbon dioxide and water. But, the governmental bureaucrats of the Obama administration, and the Cartel’s oil executives, had no interest in using an environmentally friendly product to clean up what is the greatest man-made environmental disaster of all time … they were intent on making this unbelievable cataclysm far, far worse, and one that could never be cleaned up. It cannot yet be proven that the Monetary Cartel purposely blew up their own wellhead, but the crimes they have committed in their so-called “clean-up” efforts are well documented, in spite of no corporate media outrage. After the Exxon Valdez incident of March 1989, Mycelx of Georgia developed what looks like a paper towel to soak up to 50 times its weight in oil. And while this product is used from the Middle East to Europe to Canada it was of no interest to the parties Obama charged with cleaning up the Gulf of the floating oil those very same parties caused. Even hair naturally separates oil from water, leaving large tar globs, in which mushrooms can then be seeded. And as the mushrooms grow, they digest the oil, leaving non-toxic organics, which can then be composed into soil, great for growing healthy vegetables. Anyone who has ever had a bad hair day knows how well hair will retain oil. In fact, Lisa Gautier, president of Matter of Fact (website for hair salons) has collected 400,000 pounds of hair, and stuffed it all into nylons to be used as booms near Gulf shores. This idea could have been a shot in the arm of our dying economy, by creating organic compose for the millions of nutrient depleted farm acres in the world. Also there could have been a viable cottage industry of collecting hair from salons. And, hair is certainly a renewable resource, with most of us contributing. Question1 Your client (Company X) has just informed you that they would like you to work on a new campaign that would assist with the marketing of their “new soft drink” product, and would prefer the Broadcast vehicle to communicate a message because of its advantages. The campaign is intended to run for two weeks. What criteria would you consider in the developing the Media plan for company X? Question 2 An electronic gadgets manufacturing firm wanted to market in India a small, hand-held electronic instrument for measuring blood pressure at home. The price of the instrument was fixed at around Rs. 3000 a piece. Being a specialty product, it was perceived to have only a limited clientele. The product was unique in the sense that it offered the convenience of constant monitoring of blood pressure at home, in office or anywhere, without having to visit the doctor. In order to prepare a cold list, an advertisement of the product, along with a coupon, was released in two leading business newspapers in Bombay. Interested individuals were asked to fill up the printed coupon and send it to the firm within 10 days to get a free booklet on management of blood pressure. A majority of the people who responded were found to be suffering from blood pressure, obesity or heart-related problems. A cold list of about 5,000 individuals was generated on the basis of filled-in coupons. Another alternative to this newspaper ad approach, as suggested by the research agency was to obtain a list of credit card holders from reputed banks such as ANZ Grindlays Bank, Citibank, Canara Bank, State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda. Question: What Sales Promotion techniques would be more appropriate for the company to market blood pressure instruments, and why? moreResolved Question: DO you think They Are Purposely Killing the Gulf?

Chrysler's Railroad This could be a scandal of epic proportions and one that makes Nixon's Watergate or Clinton 'so Monica Lewinsky affair pale by comparison Why was there neither rhyme nor reason as to which dealerships of the Chrysler Corporation were to be closed? Roll the clock back to the weeks just before Chrysler declared bankruptcy. Chrysler, like GM, was in dire financial straits and federal government "graciously" offered to "buy the company" and keep them out of bankruptcy and "save jobs." Chrysler was, in the words of Obama and his administration, "Too big to fail," same story with GM. The feds organized their "Automotive Task Force" to fix Chrysler and GM. Obama, in an act that is 100% unconstitutional, appointed a guy named Steve Rattner to be the White House's official Car Czar - literally, that's what his title is. Rattner is the liaison between Obama, Chrysler, and GM.. Initially, the national media reported that Chrysler had made this list of dealerships. That is not true. The Washington Examiner, Newsmax, Fox New and a host of other news agencies discovered that the list of dealerships was put together by the "Automotive Task Force" headed by no one other than Mr Steve Rattner. Now the plot thickens. Remember earlier we said that there was neither rhyme nor reason why certain dealerships were closed? Actually there's a very interesting pattern as to who was closed down. Again, on May 27, 2009, The Washington Examiner and Newsmax exposed the connection. Amazingly, of the 789 dealerships closed by the federal government, 788 had donated money, exclusively to Republican political causes, while contributing nothing to Democratic political causes. The only "Democratic" dealership on the list was found to have donated $7,700 to Hillary's campaign, and a bit over $2,000 to John Edwards. This same dealership, reportedly, also gave $200.00 to Obama's campaign. Does that seem a little odd to you? Steve Rattner is the guy who put the list together. Well, he happens to be married to a Maureen White. Maureen happens to be the former national finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee. As such, she has access to campaign donation records from everyone in the nation, Republican or Democrat. But of course, this is just a wacky "coincidence," we're certain. Then comes another really wacky "coincidence." On that list of dealerships being closed down, a weird thing happened in Arkansas , North Louisiana, and Southern Missouri . It seems that Bill Clinton's former White House Chief of Staff, Mack McClarty, owns a chain of dealership in that region, partnered with a fellow by the name of Robert Johnson Johnson happens to be founder of Black Entertainment Television and was a huge Obama supporter and financier. These guys own a half dozen Chrysler stores under the company title of RLJ-McClarty-Landers. Interestingly, none of their dealerships were ordered closed - not one! While all of their competing Chrysler/Dodge and Jeep dealership were! Eight dealerships located near the dealerships owned by McClarty and Johnson were ordered shut down. Thus by pure luck, these two major Obama supporters now have virtual monopoly on Chrysler sales in their zone. Isn't that amazing? Go look in The Washington Examiner, the story's there, and it's in a dozen or so other web-based news organizations; this isn't being made up. Now if you thought Chrysler was owned by Fiat, you are mistaken. Under the federal court ruling, 65% of Chrysler is now owned by the federal government and the United Auto Workers union-Fiat owns 20%. The other 15% is still privately owned and presumably will be traded on the stock market. Obama smiles and says he doesn't want to run the auto industry. As horrifying as this is to comprehend, and being as how this used to be the United States of America , it would appear that the president has the power to destroy private businesses and eliminate upwards of 100,000 jobs just because they don't agree with his political agenda. This is Nazi Germany stuff, and it's happening right here, right now, in our back yard. There are voices in Washington demanding an explanation, but the "Automotive Task Force" has released no information to the public or to any of the senators demanding answers for what has been done. The Chrysler Closings?
Read this....long but illuminating... I know that most of you have seen or heard parts of this auto deal!! But you won't believe what you read that you didn't know. And it just keeps going. Chrysler's Railroad This could be a scandal of epic proportions and one that makes Nixon's Watergate or Clinton 's Monica Lewinsky affair pale by comparison. Why was there neither rhyme nor reason as to which dealerships of the Chrysler Corporation were to be closed? Roll the clock back to the weeks just before Chrysler declared bankruptcy. Chrysler, like GM, was in dire financial straits and federal government graciously offered to "buy the company" and keep them out of bankruptcy and "save jobs." Chrysler was, in the words of Obama and his administration, "too big to fail," same story with GM.. The feds organized their "Automotive Task Force" to fix Chrysler and GM. Obama, in an act that is 100% unconstitutional, appointed a guy named Steve Rattner to be the White House's official Car Czar- literally, that's what his title is. Rattner is the liaison between Obama, Chrysler, and GM. Initially, the national media reported that Chrysler had made this list of dealerships. That is not true. The Washington Examiner, Newsmax, Fox New and a host of other news agencies discovered that the list of dealerships was put together by the "Automotive Task Force" headed by no one other than Mr. Steve Rattner. Now the plot thickens. Remember earlier we said earlier that there was neither rhyme nor reason why certain dealerships were closed? Actually there's a very interesting pattern as to who was closed down. Again, on May 27, 2009, The Washington Examiner and Newsmax exposed the connection. Amazingly, of the 789 dealerships closed by the federal government 788 had donated money, exclusively, to Republican political causes, while contributing nothing to Democratic political causes. Now do you know why we must protect our President? White House Lawyers Look to Limit Commercial Use of President Julianna Goldman – Fri Jan 30, 4:16 pm ET Featured Topics: Jan. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Barack Obama’s popularity makes him a marketer’s dream. Now, the honeymoon may be over for those trying to profit from his appeal. White House lawyers want to control the use of the president’s image, recognizing the worldwide fascination about Obama’s election, First Amendment free-speech rights and easy access to videos and photos on the Web. “Our lawyers are working on developing a policy that will protect the presidential image while being careful not to squelch the overwhelming enthusiasm that the public has for the president,” White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said. Obama’s calls for change and his “Yes We Can” campaign mantra are being evoked to sell assembly-required furniture in Ikea’s “Embrace Change” marketing campaign, bargain airfares during Southwest Airlines Inc.’s “Yes You Can” sale and “Yes Pecan” ice cream at Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Inc. shops. “I can’t remember this ever happening to an active politician before, as a spokesperson or as an image for a brand,” said Brad Adgate, director of research for Horizon Media Inc., a New York-based advertising agency. “He’s in the highest profile of any person in the world right now.” Riding the wave of Obama’s popularity may become a concern when advertisers use his likeness without permission to imply that Obama is endorsing a product or cause. The White House through the years has objected to commercial use of presidential faces, such as footage of President George H.W. Bush in a Cold War-themed 1989 television ad for cold medication. Presidential Speeches The National Education Association is running a TV ad with excerpts from a speech Obama gave on July 5, 2007, with the group’s logo behind him. The educators’ group has previously shown remarks by Obama in Web videos and is confident the president shares a “clear and longstanding” commitment to “real change and real reform in education,” said Steve Snider, NEA’s manager of advertising and broadcast services. The Web site for McKinstry Co., a Seattle-based mechanical contractor that Obama visited during last year’s presidential campaign, features a YouTube clip of Obama praising its work improving energy efficiency at schools and office buildings. “As president I’ll use companies like McKinstry as a model for the nation,” Obama says. McKinstry spokeswoman Genevieve Guinn said the company bought rights to the video and hasn’t gotten any White House complaints. Obama’s face is on a full-page newspaper advertisement by the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity, a lobbying group in Alexandria, Virginia. Burning Coal “We figured out how to put a man on the moon in 10 years,” the ad quotes Obama as saying last August. “You can’t tell me we can’t figure out how to burn coal that we mine right here in the United States of America and make it work.” The group also began running a TV ad in December that shows footage of Obama promoting clean-coal energy during a campaign event last September. The clean coal lobby group told Obama representatives about the ads before the inauguration and received no signals from them that there was any discomfort, As a record-setting crowd jammed Washington earlier this month for Obama’s inauguration, Obama’s face was featured on thousands of t-shirts, coffee mugs and calendars for sale at stores and street vendors across the capital. Obama’s official inaugural committee got into the act, too, setting up its own memorabilia store. Malia, Sasha Dolls Since the Obamas moved into the White House, Michelle Obama objected to the sale by Beanie Babies-maker Ty Inc. of dolls with the same names as her daughters. The company said the Sweet Sasha and Marvelous Malia dolls weren’t modeled after the first daughters. A search for Michelle Obama’s name on Google Inc.’s Web site brings up an online ad for J. Crew Group Inc., which got free publicity when the first lady wore a J. Crew outfit on NBC’s “Tonight Show With Jay Leno” last October. “Inauguration Style: Get Looks Like Those Worn by the First Lady” the Web ad says. Psaki wouldn’t provide details about legal options the White House counsel’s office is considering to deal with commercial use of Obama’s likeness. The White House lawyers may have to make case-by-case determinations about the best ways to protect the presidential image without tempering enthusiasm or trampling on free-speech protections, said Jonathan Band, an intellectual property lawyer in Washington. “It will be difficult,” Band said. “Because he is the president of the United States and there was this campaign and everyone’s proud, I think the First Amendment will be applied much more broadly with respect to people wanting to use an image of the president than it would be with moreResolved Question: Please I need to know something concerning temp agencies...?

From 2009 UNLABELLED GM sugars will be in candy, cereal, granola bars, baby food, breads, in fact all common foods that contain sugar in America. Just think of how many processed foods contain sugar; 'Bob Evans vegetable stirfry contains 31 grams of sugar and 505 calories. Kentucky fried chicken’s teriyaki wings contains 30 grams of sugar and 480 calories. Quaker natural granola contains 30 grams of sugar and 420 calories' 'This year, farmers are planting Monsanto's Roundup-Ready GM sugar beets for sale to food producers for the first time. This beet is genetically engineered to survive multiple, direct applications of the weed killer, Roundup, and its active ingredient, glyphosate. What's particularly appalling about the approval of this GM sugar beet is that at the time of its approval, Monsanto convinced the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to increase the glyphosate residues allowed on sugar beetroots by an astounding 5,000 percent. This opens up the possibility for excessive pesticide spraying on GM sugar beets' Despite widespread consumer demand for labeling, the biotech industry has stubbornly refused to label its GM products. Why? Because if consumers could make informed choices about foods that contain GM ingredients, chances are they would not buy them. Poll after poll has confirmed consumer distaste for GM foods, particularly given the absence of human health studies that prove GM foods are safe for human consumption. Yet, the biotech industry remains arrogant in its refusal to give consumers the labels that they demand and deserve. Food producers, like consumers, have also been held hostage by the biotech industry, which has steadfastly denied them the right to know if the food they purchase has been grown from GM seeds. GM beet sugar, which could be released into the food supply as early as 2009, will be combined with non-GM sugar and sold as "sugar," with no indication that some of it has come from GM beets. Manufacturers of candy, cereal, granola bars, baby food, breads -- anything that contains sugar -- would be hard-pressed to avoid using sugar derived from GM beet sugar once it's introduced into the market. This "no label" policy eliminates food producers' right to know, choose, or refuse to use non-GM sugar in its products. It also keeps consumers in the dark' So, does it bother you? Read it all before you answer. Washington , DC - Congress is considering sweeping legislation that will provide new benefits for many Americans. The Americans With No Abilities Act (AWNAA) is being hailed as a major legislative goal by advocates of the millions of Americans who lack any real skills or ambition. "Roughly 50 percent of Americans do not possess the competence and drive necessary to carve out a meaningful role for themselves in society," said California Senator Barbara Boxer. "We can no longer stand by and allow People of Inability to be ridiculed and passed over. With this legislation, employers will no longer be able to grant special favors to a small group of workers, simply because they have some idea of what they are doing." In a Capitol Hill press conference, House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) pointed to the success of the U.S. Postal Service, which has a long-standing policy of providing opportunity without regard to performance. Approximately 74 percent of postal employees lack any job skills, making this agency the single largest U.S employer of Persons of Inability. Private-sector industries with good records of non-discrimination against the Inept include retail sales (72%), the airline industry (68%), and home improvement 'warehouse' stores (65%). At the state government level, the Department of Motor Vehicles also has an excellent record of hiring Persons of Inability (63%). Under The Americans With No Abilities Act, more than 25 million "middle man" positions will be created, with important-sounding titles but little real responsibility, thus providing an illusory sense of purpose and performance. Mandatory non-performance-based raises and promotions will be given so as to guarantee upward mobility for even the most unremarkable employees. The legislation provides substantial tax breaks to corporations that promote a significant number of Persons of Inability into middle-management positions, and gives a tax credit to small and medium-sized businesses that agree to hire one clueless worker for every two talented hires. Finally, the AWNAA contains tough new measures to make it more difficult to discriminate against the Non-abled, banning, for example, discriminatory interview questions such as, "Do you have any skills or experience that relate to this job?" "As a Non-abled person, I can't be expected to keep up with people who have something going for them," said Mary Lou Gertz, who lost her position as a lug-nut twister at the GM plant in Flint , Michigan , due to her inability to remember "rightey tightey, lefty loosey." "This new law should be real good for people like me," Gertz added. With the passage of this bill, Gertz and millions of other untalented citizens will finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Said Senator Obama, I believe the same privileges that elected officials enjoy ought to be extended to every American with no abilities. It is our duty as lawmakers to provide each and every American citizen, regardless of his or her inadequacy, with some sort of space to take up in this great nation and a good salary for doing so." moreResolved Question: What does Congress do with our money? Why do we think the President can change this?
The Constitution, in Article I, Section 8, gives Congress the power "to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts, and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States." In Article I, Section 9, the original document made clear that "no Capitation, or other direct Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census of Enumeration herein before directed to be taken." It is moreover established that "No Tax or Duty shall be laid on Articles exported from any State." Since 1913, our Constitutional rights to life, liberty, and property have been abridged and diminished by the imposition on each of us of Federal income, payroll, and estate taxes. This is an unconstitutional Federal assumption of direct taxing authority. The Internal Revenue Service is the enforcement arm of the Federal government's present unjust tax system. Citizens, both in groups and as individuals, have repeatedly sought responses from the IRS bureaucracy as to the basis for the agency's tax policies and procedures. No answers have been forthcoming although a responsible government must be answerable to the people and has a duty to those it is supposed to serve. We propose legislation to abolish the Internal Revenue Service, and will veto any authorization, appropriation, or continuing resolution which contains any funding whatsoever for that illicit and unconstitutional agency. We are opposed to the flat-rate tax, national sales tax, and value added tax proposals that are being promoted as an improvement to the current tax system. The Sixteenth Amendment does not provide authority for an un-apportioned direct tax. Moreover, it is our intention to replace, with a tariff based revenue system supplemented by excise taxes, the current tax system of the U.S. government (including income taxes, payroll taxes, and estate taxes.) To the degree that tariffs on foreign products, and excises, are insufficient to cover the legitimate Constitutional costs of the federal government, we will offer an apportioned "state-rate tax" in which the responsibility for covering the cost of unmet obligations will be divided among the several states in accordance with their proportion of the total population of these United States, excluding the District of Columbia. Thus, if a state contains 10 percent of the nation's citizens, it will be responsible for assuming payment of 10 percent of the annual deficit. The effect of this "state-rate tax" will be to encourage politicians to argue for less, rather than more, federal spending, and less state spending as well. To the extent permitted by the Constitution, we believe that the taxation of corporations is an appropriate source of government revenue. The Supreme Court has defined "income" as a "gain or increase arising from corporate activity or privilege." People are not corporations, and corporations need not be treated as "people" for the purposes of taxation. There is substantial evidence that the 16th Amendment was never legally ratified. When elected, we will act to cease collection of direct Federal personal income taxes. We also support ratification of the Liberty Amendment which would repeal the Sixteenth Amendment, and provide that "Congress shall not levy taxes on personal incomes, estates, and/or gifts." We support the use of motor fuel excise taxes, at rates not in excess of those currently imposed, to be used exclusively for the erection, maintenance, and administration of Federal highways. These taxes should never be used for "demonstration projects", mass transit, or for other non-highway purposes. We support the use of excise taxes to curb the use of tax dollars for media advertising, and to provide so-called "tax abatements," "tax incentives," and "economic development grants," which are pretexts to raid the public treasury and rob the workingman for the benefit of wealthy interests favored by the politicians. moreResolved Question: Are there any media/advertising recruitment agencies that service New York City?

Hi I’m thinking about starting up my own direct selling agency within the UK and wondering if anyone has any information of how easy it is to obtain commission on sales contracts with such companies as or similar to NPower, SKY, British Gas, Tiscali, Virgin media etc. With experience and awareness of some of the companies already operating in the same city I have realised some are fairly small and independent sales agencies selling brands mentioned above. I understand that all agencies have to comply and register with Energysure who set the standards of direct selling, but it seems I’m stuck when it comes to finding information regarding how to, and how easy it is to approach this type of companies. If anyone can also give me any other useful hints or tips that may relate to this, I would be very grateful.Hi thanks for the reply, I have already looked on the DSA site but unless I missed it they only have advice about setting up business with their members, which isn’t any of the above mentioned. moreResolved Question: How can my Sale Agency sell Npower or British Gas for commission?
How do i go about setting up 100% commisions deals with companies like Npower, SKY, Virgin Media, Tiscali etc to sell their servise on a commission basis through my door to door face to face sales agency.Sorry I didn’t make it very clear, I don't actually own or have a business so it’s not a fundamental basic for me. When I said ‘through my door to door face to face sales agency’ It was the best way of asking the question as I’m researching into this subject and placing myself in the scenario. Thanks for your help. moreResolved Question: PA? Any tips on how to get in to being a PA?
I would really like to become a PA although I do not have any experience. I am currently working in Media Sales so I do have office experience although after having contacting some agencies they have all told me that without experience, they cannot place me in a role, They have even told me themselves that its often about being in theight place at the right time. It seems like a real catch 22 situation because if nobody will employ someone without good experience, how do you get the experience in the forst place? I would even be prepared to take a junior position and work my way up. If anyone is a PA and could let me know how they got there, that woudl eb very appreiciated. Tucson Region Rules waived to add security along 220 miles of AZ border By Brady McCombs and Howard Fischer Arizona Daily Star Capitol Media Services Tucson, Arizona | Published: 04.02.2008 advertisementThe Department of Homeland Security laid claim Tuesday to at least 220 of the 350 miles of U.S.-Mexican border in Arizona to build fences, roads and towers without having to comply with environmental regulations. A congressionally mandated deadline to have 670 miles of fences, barriers, roads and lighting along the U.S.-Mexico border in place by the end of the year drove Secretary Michael Chertoff to invoke the waiver. To date, the agency has completed 309 miles of projects, leaving it with 361 miles to complete in nine months. What Tuesday's order does, Chertoff said, is ensure that the rest of what is necessary can be built without having to complete full-blown environmental-impact statements — and without fearing that one or more sections will become tied up in court. The announcement, however, was greeted by disdain from local environmental-protection groups and a pair of Arizona legislators. "I think every American should be up in arms that the federal government is waiving these laws," said Sean Sullivan, co-chairman of the Sierra Club Rincon Group, which covers Southeastern Arizona. "They are just going to bulldoze ahead in order to get all the projects they had lined up completed." The waiver encompasses nearly two-thirds of Arizona's international border, including swaths of land from as far west as Yuma to near the Arizona-New Mexico state line. Some of the larger expanses revealed by Homeland Security include: ● More than 60 miles stretching from about seven miles east of Sasabe to south of Fort Huachuca in Cochise County. ● More than 55 miles on the Tohono O'odham Reservation, from just east of the village of Ali Ak Chin to near Sasabe. ● More than 50 miles across the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge west of Lukeville. ● More than 20 miles from east of Douglas to near the Arizona-New Mexico state line. In total, Homeland Security identified 13 areas in Arizona. The detailed plans — or what's already under construction or has been completed — for each of the areas weren't available Tuesday. None is a new project, said Amy Kudwa, Homeland Security spokeswoman. "We are simply moving forward with their expeditious construction," Kudwa said. The projects will fall under the general category of "pedestrian and vehicle fence construction, towers, sensors, cameras, detection equipment and roads in the vicinity of the border," Homeland Security said. It's the fourth time Chertoff has used the waiver, created in the 2005 Real ID Act to waive compliance with federal regulations for all border projects. He invoked the waiver on the previous three occasions for individual projects: in October 2007 for construction of two miles of fencing in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area in Southeastern Arizona; in January 2007 on the Barry M. Goldwater Air Force Range in Southwestern Arizona; and in 2005 in San Diego. Each use has elicited harsh criticism from environmentalists and critics who say no one person should have such overreaching power. Chertoff's use of that 2005 waiver authority "has created a lawless border," said Matt Clark, Southwest representative of Defenders of Wildlife. The waiver continues a pattern of neglecting important environmental, health and safety laws to build an ineffective and environmentally damaging border wall, Clark said. "That arbitrary deadline has resulted in lawlessness along the border and a disregard for environmental health and safety laws," he said. In a statement, U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., called the use of the waiver "outrageous," saying neither her office nor local or state elected officials were consulted. "This is unacceptable," Giffords said. "A federal government construction project of this magnitude will impact significantly on local residents, communities and the environment. Those of us who live on the border and represent border communities deserve a seat at the table." U.S. Rep. Raúl Grijalva, D-Ariz., called such a broad and poorly conceived waiver lazy. "Secretary Chertoff is abusing the authority granted him by the Congress with this ham-handed waiver," Grijalva said in a statement. "With the stroke of his pen, he overturns 36 laws — some of which have been protecting our resources and our health for more than a century — in an area stretching from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean." In a prepared statement Tuesday, Chertoff said his actions are justified. "The flow of illegal traffic through the border region imperils our ability to fight terrorism by stopping the illegal entry of terrorists, and exposes our border communities and the rest of the United States to the ill effects of drug smuggling, human smuggling and gang activity," he said. "Illegal border traffic has also caused severe and profound impacts to the environment." Invoking the waiver will prevent legal wrangling that could delay projects, he said. That's exactly what happened last year when two environmental groups sought to halt construction of fences and vehicle barriers along the southern edge of the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area. Challengers said federal officials did not properly consider ways to minimize the impact of the new construction. Chertoff eventually invoked the waiver, and construction continued. Chertoff denied that environmental concerns are being ignored. He said that there is at least a "draft environmental assessment or environmental impact statement" for all of the miles where his agency is erecting new pedestrian fencing. And he said most of the other projects — aside from fences to keep pedestrians out — also will have those kinds of assessments. moreResolved Question: Should I stay or go? Persistance or Run like crazy?
I've just started a new job. Insurance sales. I spent $300 - to get my state license. I'm excited about this but..... My boss is a driving me crazy. I suck at phone sales but he doesn't want me doing any other marketing/advertising - just telemarketing (which is belittling and intrusive). After making 800+ dials I only got one appointment. It's my first week. He hasn't given me access to my backoffice online because he wants me to just book appointments not sell over the phone. So I have no idea what insurance products to offer the customers.....He doesn't want me to study more (learn about area competition or current local insurance news) just call warm leads. I've got the same leads day in and day out that 15 other agents are using - the poor potential clients feel harrassed and most of my time is spend appologizing. Should I try another agency? Ask to be transfered in office? Or just leave - I'm a talented saleswoman....but phone sales is not my medium.Just a side note - I've been a telemarketer 2 other times and it was fun and profitable....I've also had 10+ yrs of retail selling - I also found that fun and profitable. It's not the selling I have a problem with - it's they process that is harrassing people (customers). I'm feeling like the business might be a shady fly by night kinda place. moreResolved Question: Do you agree that unauthorized wearing and misuse of Army Uniform is a big evil and promotes militancy?
AWFUL MISUSE AND HUMILIATION OF ARMY UNIFORM I am reproducing the relevant text of some of the press reports from across the country and the world depicting the dastardly acts of militants clad in Army uniform, the likes of which have been shaking up the world for ages. *Militants in Army uniforms mowed down 25 villagers in Champanan. The act was repeated in Thakrai and Sarban villages near Kishtwar. Dressed in olive green Army uniforms, the ultras killed innocent villagers in cold blood. On its part, the administration had given several assurances that the recurrence of such incidents would be checked. *Once again, the militants used combat uniforms to gain entry into the residential area of the Army family quarters when they struck, killing 30 people and injuring another 50. When they boarded the Himachal Roadways bus near Vijaypur town early in the morning, all passengers took them to be bonafide Army personnel carrying weapons. As such, there was no reason for the passengers to panic. Later, when the militants asked the driver to stop near the Kalu Chak Army camp, he obliged thinking they had reached their unit area and wanted to get down. It was seconds later when they opened fire that the other passengers realized the gravity of the situation, but by then it was too late. The incident has highlighted the government’s failure to check the open and uncontrolled sale of cloth used for making Army uniforms in the markets throughout the region. Though district magistrates (DMs) of various districts have, from time to time, sought to check the sale of this cloth, their orders have remained mere words which were never enforced. The then Chief Minister, Mr Farooq Abdullah readily admitted the government’s failure to check the open sale of cloth used for making Army uniforms though it has been misused by the militants time and again. However, he said that henceforth, the government would pass such orders as would be strictly enforced and seek to punish the errant shopkeepers. The then Governor Girish Chander Saxena said going by the number of incidents in which militants wearing Army uniforms had carried out different types of attacks, it was imperative to ban the open sale of uniform cloth. Asked how such ban orders would be implemented when the government had failed to do so in the past, senior civil and police officials said if the government showed the will, they had the wherewithal to enforce the orders. *Stepping up violence, heavily-armed militants in military uniform stormed an Army camp killing seven jawans and injuring six others at Akhnoor. *One Brigadier and seven jawans were killed, and 12 injured when three militants in Army uniforms attacked an Army camp in Tanda, about 40km north of Jammu on the road to Poonch. The militants alighted from a vehicle and began firing at the security guards at the 610 EME Battalion Camp. They managed to enter deep inside the camp hurling grenades and opening indiscriminate fire, disguising themselves as Army personnel. The attack came less than 12 hours after an attack by Army uniform clad militants in Banganga near Katra in which six devotees were killed. The site is on the way to the Vaishno Devi shrine. *Just when reports in the media suggested that things were looking up in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K,) came a major suicide attack by Army uniform clad militants on an Army camp at Sanjwan near the state's winter capital, Jammu. The attack came on the final day of the then President A P J Abdul Kalam's visit to the region. Militants, dressed in Army uniforms, cut their way through fencing to enter the Army camp and then made their way to a barrack and shot dead about 12 sleeping Army personnel. The two militants were killed in the encounter that followed. A little-known group, the al-Nasireen, has claimed responsibility for the attack. Indian intelligence agencies, however, believe that the attack was masterminded by the Lashkar-e-Toiba and was made easy by the local shopkeepers selling various items of Army uniform. *At least 20 Islamic militants of Fatah Islam were killed when they launched an attack against the Lebanese Army from a position located in the Nahr al- Bared Palestinian refugee camp. Two Army soldiers were also killed. The Fatah Islam militants were trying to escape from the camp when the Army confronted them. Some twenty were killed and several others were wounded. The militants were dressed in Lebanese Army uniforms. *Suspected al-Qaida militants wearing Iraqi Army uniforms killed up to 13 people in a raid on a district south of Baghdad. Clad in Military uniform, militants have killed two Iraqi soldiers and eight members of an anti-al-Qaeda group near the Baghdad capital. The activists raided a checkpoint in a village south of the capital. The militants took with them an army vehicle and raided the Hawr Rajab Awakening Council Headquarters. *Pakistani gunship helicopters launched fresh attacks on pro-Taliban bunkers in the troubled northwest, as clashes left nearly 100 militants dead. Militants "disguised some of their dead bodies in the uniform of the Frontier Constabulary" to make it appear as if they were soldiers. *Taliban militants wearing Afghan Army uniforms attacked a remote NATO base in eastern Afghanistan, leaving two Afghan soldiers dead and 11 alliance soldiers wounded. The militants wearing Afghan Army uniforms approached the NATO's forward operating base in mountainous Nuristan province, before launching the attack. *The LTTE cadres in Army uniform exploded a claymore mine and directed small arms fire at Kalvettai in Marudankulam Vavuniya. The PLOTE Leader said that was a very dangerous trend. "We have heard of similar attacks earlier but at that time we did not have any concrete evidence. This time round, we are positive that it was the LTTE cadres in the Sri Lanka Army uniforms who were firing at unarmed civilians to put the blame on the Army," he said. *The SLA in Jaffna said that it caught two robbers who were looting a house around. The SLA said that the robbers were civilians dressed in army uniforms. **************** In our country, most of the Security Guards at Malls, Hotels and Restaurants, Corporate Houses, Factories and other public places attire themselves in uniform which comprises of a number of items of Army uniform, and wear it in such a shoddy manner that it brings an awful disrepute to the uniformed soldiers. Photographs, appearing in the newspapers, of the camps and hideouts of various militant groups across the globe disclose the rampant misuse of Army uniform by their cadres. School and college going children adorn themselves in combat trousers or combat vests, not realizing an iota of the sanctity attached to the fabric. Commercial film makers do the maximum damage. A comedian will attire himself in an Army uniform and conduct himself in such a disgraceful manner which certainly makes his character quite comic, but at a huge cost. The nation pays tribute to a soldier who gives the supreme sacrifice of his life for safeguarding its territorial integrity, by draping his mortal remains in the National Tricolour before being laid to rest. Then why is his uniform subjected to extreme indignity and humiliation – the uniform which is a matter of pride for him from the day he joins the Army, the uniform to which he gives the utmost regards all throughout his life and the uniform in which he fights, breathes his last and sleeps forever, for the tomorrow of the nation. We all in the nation need to take on the onerous responsibility of putting in concerted efforts to revive the respect and glory of the Army uniform. All the four estates of our democracy – the media, the legislature, the executive and the judiciary, alongwith the ever important support of the citizens, need to combine to take this noble step, which will have far reaching consequences towards creation of a better nation, a nation - we all will be proud of. moreResolved Question: Why don't the conservative media like Ron Paul?
The last days, I've read this question so many times in here, I start wondering myself, but from another point of view. This man is an anarchic capitalist; someone who wants to give all influence to free enterprises, throw back the social systems to 19th century standard and keep out the government of everything possible. He's that kind of guy, you would expect to hand over the nuclear arsenal controll to private security agencies and put the job as US surpreme court judge for sale on ebay to minorize state's influence. So, I could think of numerous conservative medial enterprises, that couldn't wish someone, who fits better to their interests. Why don't they cheer him up to the sky, no matter how his results are, and declare, the nation will suffer worse than at 9/11, if he doesn't win, but try to keep silent about him? What's the reason for that? Is he even to radical for them, or is it the lack of this moralic fig leaf, some Reps like to wear, or what is it? moreResolved Question: ***Does anyone know of a job in sales, marketing, or advertising available within their company?

“Just a goddamned piece of paper” — George Bush Bush executive order: Blocking Property of Certain Persons Who Threaten Stabilization Efforts in Iraq [here]: If the Secretary of the Treasury thinks you are at risk of committing an act of violence [whether or not you actually have committed an act of violence] in order to protest the policies of the Iraqi government or the Bush administration’s policies to promote “economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq”, then the secretary of the Treasury can put a freeze on all your assets. Likewise if you are associated with such a person. Bush executive order: Blocking Property of Persons Undermining the Sovereignty of Lebanon or Its Democratic Processes and Institutions [here]: Essentially the same as above, but for Lebanon, with one small difference - the freezing of property isn’t just restricted to people suspected of violent acts, but also non-violent ones. The order also bans any food and humanitarian aid to any anyone whose property is frozen, including the spouse or dependent child. "It's so stressful. In the morning, I hear dogs barking and people talking outside my home and I think the police are coming." The pressure is so bad that Loke is returning to her native Hong Kong and closing a business she has had for two years. In China, dogs have long been seen as a source of meat as much as companionship. But the current crackdown has touched a nerve in the rapidly modernizing capital, especially among its burgeoning middle class. "What kind of rules are these? I don't expect everybody to love animals. But I do want to have my rights to keep pets," said Clare Xiao, an account manager at an advertising company. She sent her larger Brittany to a kennel run by a friend and kept her Pekinese, a stray she found on the street. "What the government is doing is just disappointing, cold and emotionless," said Xiao. Many of the prohibitions have been on the books since 2003, but only sporadically enforced. The city of 13 million people has 1 million dogs, half of them unregistered, according to state media. Simpson Talks About How He Could Have Killed Ex-Wife A sharp increase in rabies cases nationwide has prompted the renewed vigilance. Only 3 percent of China's dogs are vaccinated against rabies and the disease is nearly always fatal in humans once symptoms develop, though it can be warded off by a series of expensive and painful injections. Officials have extended the 2003 rules to cover not only Beijing's center but some outlying areas. The clampdown, announced Nov. 6, gave owners until Thursday to comply or the dogs would be seized and the owners fined. One owner Zhu Qiao has moved three times since 2001 to find areas where her black-and-white dog, Gou Gou, could be raised safely and within the law. "He's part of my life, he's my friend and family," said Zhu, 30, a television producer. "If you want to impose a law, you have to get the opinion of dog owners and experts. You can't just take them away." "I can't move again. There's no option but to hide him and if he gets taken, I'll go with him." Another owner had his Labrador retriever taken away Wednesday because she was too big. "She is a very amicable dog. She never barked," said the owner, a businessman who would give only his surname Yang. "If they don't allow me to raise her here, I will find another place. I will get her back." Witness accounts and photos on the Internet have shown dogs being captured in nets and pummeled with wooden and metal sticks. But authorities have vowed to carry out a "strict but civilized" campaign that police hoped would not anger dog owners, according to the official Xinhua News Agency. "I have never heard of dogs being culled after they were caught by police. Dogs are a man's best friend and we treat them as friends, even when we have to lock them up for the sake of public security," Xinhua quoted a Ministry of Public Security official, Bao Suixian, as saying. Many owners have sent their dogs to kennels outside the city. Some are handing them over to friends and family. Joyce Wang gave one of her dogs to her sister and is keeping Ding Ding, her fox terrier, close by her side. She said she had heard that the government was offering $25 to people who reported on rule-breaking dog owners. "I'm scared and worried. Now I don't take him outside during the day," Wang said. "Even in the evening, we will take a detour if we see people in the compound we live in." moreResolved Question: What do you think about the hidden side of showbiz-fashion biz?
