Voting Question: Job Advice really appreciated...?!?

I'm in a bit of a rut at the moment and would really appreciate any help or advice...! I've been a student for 3 years and then went travelling for over a year. I'm home now (coming up to 4 months) and finding it really tough to get a job- not especially because of the recession, etc, but because I really dont know what to do! My degree was in Media and Communication Studies (which Im now starting to realise is a pretty weak degree in the eyes of the employment world.) So I've been initially looking at media based jobs, but the more I research into it, the more Im put-off by the industry... I really love travel, reading, writing, helping people (have looked into numerous jobs involving this, which mostly require having a qualification in this field) and I really just want to be at least fairly happy in whatever I do, money is essential but a high wage is not what Im after. I am 24 and ready for a career, I dont want to go back to Uni or do courses...I've joined loads of agencies, job centres and online services. Does anyone have any ideas of things I could look into? Even a bit of inspirational info would be great, Im starting to feel pretty hopeless, and therefore unhappy. I dont know what I want, I have education and life experience behind me, but no strong direction or skill to aim for. Help. more

I have 2 job offers. One from a small digital media agency part of WPP, the position is in the search department. The other position is a Advertising op execution for an online media owner.
