Is there a company that provides you with training , but doesn't charge an arm and a leg, and sometimes an eye. I've seen some companies that the only thing they advertise is the training courses, And i dont think they are free. I bet thats how they make their money. I want a company that will provide support, not make it a mandatory thing to buy their training, But at the same time that they wont charge you all the meaningless fees. teaching good nutrition is one thing but is this: http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=67770 If kids are influenced into buying "junk food" by a logo at a baseball game, then are they not also influenced in their thinking by the onslaught of violence in video games? Is it even the governments job to tell a private business that they cannot advertise at a school venue? If a company (say Coca-Cola) wants to donate athletic equipment, score boards, or just donate money to a school in exchange for an advertising logo (it's called sponsorship), should the government tell the school (who we know are desperate for money) that they can't accept those conditions? What if McDonald's wanted to donate musical instruments to the school? Is a sign stating thank you to McDonald's for your generous donation that offensive? moreOpen Question: Low cost way to advertise a home cleaning company?
I wanted to do door hangers but I've heard mixed reviews about using them. I was thinking of hanging potpourri sachets on door knobs with my business card or mini-flyer attached. I figured home owners would pay more attention to something they could actually use instead of just a piece of paper. Honest opinions please, would this be a good way to gain customers? PS. I asked in this category because it has more posters, and I'd like the opinion of people most likely to hire a house cleaner/keeper. Thanks in advance! moreOpen Question: Low cost advertising for cleaning company?

(Is there a media sales schedule) 2: Who is the best person to contact or approach at companies for prospective advertising (What is their job role for better terms) 3: What is the typical sales process for selling advertising space for a magazine? 4:If hiring an independent sales rep to sell advertising space, what are their typical rates/ commission, and are there any up front fees? moreOpen Question: How to report bad solicitors?
I have been treated abysmally by my Marylebone solicitor. He made a minor mistake initially over the court hearing- which we later won with the respondent being told "you have no defence".He was to repay the £15,000 plus interest as agreed in writing plus costs awarded and legal expenses. . The solicitor gave me no further information until I went to see him three weeks later. He revealed that I would have to begin recovery proceedings. I gave him the instruction to go ahead immediately.. . On calling him for a progress report six weeks later he said he would deal with it when he returned from holiday! After many months he eventually registered a charge on the man's property. I then instructed the solicitor to get the Court's consent to sell. I had to give him this instruction THREE times - without result even though he asked each time for confirmation. Without my consent he granted my debtor (I was out of the country) an interview at my expense, then said there was now no option but to get an Order to Sell. I told him to go ahead without delay. Despite repeated emails he refused to respond for over FOUR MONTHS! He had done nothing! I wrote him a very sharp letter, sending him yet another £3,000. Shortly afterwards I had an email informing me he was leaving the company THE FOLLOWING DAY but giving no name or address. I telephoned the senior partner who assured me he would call me back after the Christmas break. I never heard from him again. Complain? There is nobody to complain TO with any chance of success. All documents were forwarded to the LEGAL COMPLAINTS SERVICE which took six months to complete its report. (This is the only channel for complaining) Their report upheld ALL my complaints and instructed the solicitor to refund half my fees paid. (An almost insulting amount considering the stress andd inconvenience he caused over four years!) However the solicitors refuse to pay. So? The LCS claims it has no power to enforce it findings and closed the file, Consequently one is entitled to ask what is the purpose of HAVING the LCS if it is a toothless tiger? Before brushing me off I was told to seek the funds from the firm's insurers. Even before I wrote they claimed the solicitors were not insured in those areas. As 6 of these were those advertised on the LCS website as being legitimate grounds for complaining of bad service if proven, what WAS the insurance company responsible for? Nothing? Both men are now working away earning fat fees elsewhere totally unaffected by their lack of service and professional integrity.. Another side to the story. Documentation shows clearly NOT. The Law society does NOT deal with complaints. The LCS itself has been fined thousands in the past three years or so for its own unsatisfactory work (which it affects to know nothing about.) In effect the information on solicitors' websites and notepaper that they are regulated by the authorities is palpably untrue. Clearly they can do anything and get away with it. IS THIS NOT CORRUPTION? People in other professions would find themselves in deep trouble if they were proven negligent. And what solicitor would take on one off his own kind in litigation over negligence? moreOpen Question: Who do you report email scams to?
I'd advertised for a room wanted on Craigslist and they sent me a convincing email asking me to house-sit for them. I didn't 'get' the scam at first but now they want my name and address so they can send me a check to pay off their security company. I'm not sure what happens next or how they get their money from the scam but I just wondered who do I report it to?? If there is anyone? I have their IP address and know they are in Lagos, Nigeria. PS I didn't give them my address! moreOpen Question: How many unique hits do sites need to make good money from advertising?

I was researching a property and from what I understood, it had a court ordered notification of sale placed, but the house is currently being advertised for a short sale. I don't know if it was just me, but the owner didn't really seem too interested in a sale.So a judge can order a short sale before ordering a foreclosure sale? I started to read more after placing the question and it seems that a new HAMP law started in April actually may allow the banks/mortgage companies to at least get court permission to do this.http://stopforeclosurehomeownerresources.org/2010/03/01/government-hamp-program-may-force-you-into-a-short-sale-or-deed-in-lieu/ moreOpen Question: Does anyone have any company details for the people behind the aizhihui.net scam website?
The website aizhihui.net which I has never even heard of has somehow got my company name and is advertising my company details with someones actual residential address and what I can only assume is a made up telephone number! Have tried repeatedly to contact them on their site to remove the company, also sent countless emails to admin@azihihui.net which was an email address I have managed to track down for them - only to never receive a response! The problem also is when you type my company name into google their details come up first with all this false and illegal information! Very confusing for my customers and the poor people whose home address is falsely advertised as the company address. Looking at their site it seems I am not alone either with falsely advertised information. - where they get your details from I have no idea and it must be completely illegal in what they are doing, so if anyone can shed some light on this cowboy website it would be really appreciated! Looks like they may be based in China too! moreOpen Question: what is the best way to advertise an internet agency in Germany?

http://thehill.com/opinion/columnists/dick-morris/103373-obama-vs-press-freedom A May 24 working paper on “reinventing” the media proposes that the government impose fees on websites such as the Drudge Report that link to news websites or that it tax consumer electronics such as iPads, laptops and Kindles. Funds raised by these levies would be redistributed to traditional media outlets. By now, the Obama MO should be clear to all. As he has done with the banks, AIG and the car companies, he extends his left hand offering subsidies and then proffers his right laden with regulations. Should the government follow through on Leibowitz’s ideas and enact special subsidies and tax breaks for news organizations, it will induce a degree of journalistic dependence on the whims of government not seen since the days when the early presidents bestowed government advertising on favored periodicals. moreOpen Question: Can she sue me without a contract?
I do moving on the side. I advertise on craigslist. This woman contacted me through craigslist to move her leather couches out of her apartment through a tiny door. We wrapped the couch with blankets and shrink wrap to protect it, then tried to get it out of the door without success. After an hour we gave up then, when we took the blankets off the couch, it was the same but a small scuff about an inch long on the back. Now she is threatening to take me to court. My question is does she have a case without a signed contract? Also does she need proof like pictures before and after on the same day of the move/ I am not a real moving company so how can she go about suing me? . moreResolved Question: why do well known companies spend money on advertising?

I am doing some research online for a couple of framed prints I bought at an estate sale a few weeks ago to try and see if they are worth anything. The artist for these prints was a man by the name of James Ross Bryson born in the late 1800's I do believe. I have two images. One from 1901 and the other from 1902. They are both signed by Bryson for these two dates. Now, here's the kicker. They both have Coca-Cola in the bottom left corners. Within the research I did, I understand that Mr. Bryson would sell his pieces to local printing companies. Therefore, I KNOW that these were printed off. Here is my question. Knowing that these are reproduced for advertising purposes for Coca-Cola (copyright 1901 and 1902, A.F. Kern Company) will they be worth anything since they are still from the early 1900's and are branded with the Coca-Cola trademark? I'm a huge Coca-Cola collector and just didn't know what they would be worth, if anything. Please help! Thank you! moreResolved Question: where can i find work experience?

Hello, so I'm doing some research into advertising and I'm basically wondering - How much do companies pay the website owner per click on one of their advertisements? What is the minimum and the maximum? I have a potential business idea involving advertising and I'm just wondering how much they pay per click so I can see if it's viable. I've called a few companies but they seem to be reluctant to release this sort of information moreResolved Question: What if Obama were to nationalize pharmaceutical companies?
Along with his endeavors to nationalize the finance, health, and auto industries, I think he would do well to work on drug companies. The industry claims prices are so high because of research costs. But any of you who have ever worked in a hospital or doctor's office or clinic know what waste the drug companies expend on freebies, including lunches and dinners out for whole departments. It all comes under advertising. If the pharmaceutical companies did not spend so much on advertising-- tv, magazines, radio, billboards, promo items, etc.-- drug costs would come down significantly.Do they even need to advertise? The only people who need to be kept up to date on new meds are doctors. Anyone can search online for interactions and applications and counterindications.TV and magazine ads just create more hypochondriacs daily. Exactly what the drug companies want.Look around your doctor's office next time and see all the free gizmos you pay for. moreOpen Question: applying for the same job again?

I am 13. Over the summer, I want to start an online business. I am currently taking a Business Camp at my school. My ultimate goal is to make six or more figures a year, and become Financially Independent. I know it sounds crazy since I'm only 13, but it is my dream. I have 2 major online business ideas that could work, but I need help choosing the one that would make the most money. 1. My first idea is a website where free users can submit original songs and other users can listen, rate, comment, share, and chat with other users. I would also have an area where users can post info and another area where bands can find new band members. To make money from the site, I would sell ad space, sell an ecourse on songwriting, and maybe creating a pro membership if the site becomes big enough. I have a problem though. Since I have no coding experience, I would have to hire a web design firm to create the site. The problem is that it might cost a lot ($100,000) to create the site. If it does cost that much, should i hire a programmer from elance or something like that? Thats how the website Digg was created. If it still costs a lot, should I have my parents apply for a loan from SBA? Overview of #1: Target Market: Musicians, Bands, Independent Artists, Songwriters. Revenue: Ad space, Pro Membership Costs: Website, Marketing, Website Matinence Type of Business: Online Business, Online Company, Service Business Idea #2. This idea is a basic business idea. I would create a basic website (not a webs.com type of site, but not a huge firm site). I would join a well reputated wholesale company that sells and dropships musical instruments. I would list the products on my site using an eccommerce section, and allow customers to make orders. I would price the products to make profit. When I get an order, I send the order to the wholesale company, and they ship the products within 24 hours. They are most likely always in stock, and will notify me of any problems. Overview of Idea #2: Target Market: Musicians, Bands, Independent Artists, Dj's, bass players, guitarists, drummers, keyboard players, lighting people, record producers. Revenue: Profits from Products, Advertising on Website Costs: Dropshipping, Cost of Products, Website, Website Matinence, Marketing Type of Business: Online Business, Online Company, E-Tail Business, Retail Business, Ecommerce, Product Business. Which idea do you like the best? Which idea do you think is most profitable? If you think #1 is the best and most profitable.... Why do you think that? How should I build the website? Will the website cost a lot? Should a get a loan from SBA? Would people like this site? If you think #2 is the best and most profitable.... Why do you think that? Do you think it is a good idea? looking into it, but would like more info, do not want to do it with my eyes closed, how do I check to see if they are with the better business bureau moreOpen Question: How much would companies pay for once in a lifetime advertising exposure.?
I have an idea (i do not want to fully mention it here), but it is the most unique advertising idea ever. It would never be able to be replicated, it would be a Guinness World Records entry and would receive world wide attention. I will be able to run full motion commercials, so I was thinking of auctioning 15, 30 second spots to the 15 highest bidders and starting the bidding at 75k. Does anyone think this is a fair amount or to little? moreOpen Question: Can't Funimation give the rights to Case Closed to another company?
they could just sell the rights to another company who can advertise it way better. moreOpen Question: What kind of computer should I get?
I don't understand much about computers, and I've had a couple, but after a few years they start going bad and freezing up. I did a system restore, and that messed it up really well. I have McAfee for the protection, but my son seems to think I have too much protection and that's why the computer is so slow. I had Fios, and that did nothing to speed things up. I do buy quite a few games, would that slow it down? My McAfee says there is no virus, etc. I even bought this registry cleaner that I saw advertised on t.v. and things kept popping up from the company I bought it from saying I needed to buy more to clean the whole computer. Do the games take up space if you're not playing them? I have so many questions, I know. I'm thinking I'll just get a new computer and start all over again. I want to make sure I get the right kind of computer that will have enough space, but I don't want to get a lot of extras I won't use. I want to make sure I'm buying the protection I need that is also reputable. I priced Dell computers and they are so expensive....I didn't realize they were that high? I also didn't know you had to buy everything separately, as the first computer I bought came w/ a monitor, etc. I know I probably sound confuse--that's because I am. Any help or suggestions you can give me will be greatly appreciated! Thank you! moreVoting Question: How do Internet companies connect to each other?

Hi! Id really appreciate it if anyone would help me to gain more referrals for freebiejeebies! Its an advertising site where once youve completed the three steps they send you a free item, such as an iphone or ipad! the item you choose will require you to get a certain number of referrals depending on the value of it. for example an ipod touch 8gb requires 8 referrals. to sign up please use the following link: http://apple.freebiejeebies.co.uk/299786 ive put some more information about it below from my experience and from the actual website: HOW IT WORKS: 1. All you need to do is sign up (you only give details of age, email, name and address - so product can be delivered to you). 2. And then you simply complete an offer from the list shown after signing in, the most popular is Lovefilm.com as you only need to do a free trial and you can cancel before it ends so you do not pay a penny. (You do not have to do an offer from the link given on freebiejeebies, you can open a new web page and it will still work.) 3. Once you have completed an offer, you then have to refer friends to do the same. Once your friends have also done the 3 same steps as you, you will be given your free gift. *** I have done the offer myself and got an Ipod shuffle - It definately works! I didnt trust it at first, but after looking around and hearing from others it works i decided to give it a go. You do NOT need to give them any credit card details as the gift is FREE and you do NOT recieve any spam. Freebiejeebies recieve their products brand new in original packaging. Support from the website: Is this real? It most certainly is. It's an advertising scheme to get more people looking at some of the offers which we are affiliated with. Basically, when a user completes one of the offers on our site (e.g. LOVEFiLM) we get paid by the advertiser. This way, we can cover the cost of your free gift and still make a small profit. A lot of TV programmes and magazines have featured this sort of advertising, including BBC and the Wired magazine - so you can feel confident that it is genuine. POLL: Any attorneys here?
I bought this peanut butter that says "dark chocolate" flavor but it does not taste like chocolate. It tastes like sugar-coated squirrel vomit. I would like to sue the company for wasting my $5.49 for a small jar. How do I go about this? Look I know I could return it but I'm almost done with it and it's time that peanut butter companies pay for their false advertising. Even if it has chocolate liquor it doesn't taste like it. So why say it's chocolate flavor? Forget the oil spill, it's time we as Americans take a stand for what really matters AND can actually be fixed. Are you with me?All 3 of you: the answers are in my text. Has anyone ever got a dress from these before, and if so, how did ye get on with them, was the dress what you ordered. It would be great to get these dresses at the price they are advertising them, but i’d like to know they are a reputable company.
